| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I feel like the battles in this show is getting more and more intense every epsiode. The action got amplified in the first half of the show. Really feels like they're showing off what Honey can do in her current state (although I think she still needs room to improve) The monsters in this show are really unorthodox especially the one with the lobster shaped gun lol. Seeing Cutey Honey in that statue form though...what a moment. |

| Statue Honey is the sexiest Honey we've seen so far... unfortunately >_>. But my biggest problem with this show is it won't decide if it wants to be serious, crazy like the old Cutie Honey, or just a regular ecchi show... and where'd the Yuri undertones go this episode? It's too inconsistent. 4 episodes in I can pretty confidently say this is not the sequel I wanted. Anyway, it's entertaining enough that I'll keep watching. This is the last episode I'll complain on until the end (unless it improves!) |

| But this isn't a sequel. I think is consistent because original Cutey Honey supposed to be a mix between seriousness and satirical comedy (except Re Cutey Honey, where there is more emphasis on the satirical part). Think of the Honey's concept as a gender swapped Kamen Rider, although I think Universe has less focus on the action, in that thing the show loses with its past versions. |

| So she has more than 3 forms… heck, she can transform into anything?! That’s… interesting! I’m satisfied with the Honey vs Spin2Win monster girl fight… it was good enough. I dunno why but for some reason her Misty Honey form reminds me of Bayonetta. I really like Genet’s and Jill’s designs… they both look really cool. This episode seem to be focused a bit on Honey's butt... I have no problem with that at all! |
