| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So this places takes after events of Chaos:Ahead.. They didn't waste much time getting to the thrilling parts with more mysterious events happening. Animation style wise, it remains pretty much the same as I remember before. Takuru doesn't really impress me much as a character yet but who knows, maybe that could change. Got some mixed thoughts on this so far. The first episode is more or less setting up for more events to come. So much chaos already... |

| @Stark700 should've watched episode 00 beforehand maybe. Will decrease the "chaos" you've experienced xD I must say Silver Link are doing a great job. Quite the improvement in character designs for the better and the animation quality is not bad at all, considering the gap between the 2 series. And that episode 00... I am so glad they did a recap episode of ;Head and on top of that it was fully re-animated, 'cuz I wasn't keen on the idea to re-watch ;Head as the blu-ray quality is absolutely terrible >.< Anyway I wasn't much of a ;Head fan, but will stick with this till the end for sure. Also it's so much better than Occultic;Trash (courtesy to A-1). Will definitely spice up the ";" franchise till Steins;Gate 0 animu |

| The hilarious thing is that the Episode 0 of Silverlink recap of Chaos;head is ALREADY miles above Madhouse's actual chaos;Head adaptation. Hoooboy. Good job on the first episode too. Good production values and way better start than with Chaos Head. Hopefully it retains this level of quality. |

| pretty okay adaptation, atleast it's not worse than I expecting. just disappointed when they said 1 hour instead we got 30 minutes c;h recap. |

| Oooh boy. Everyone can go home now. It really will be only 1 cour. That was very rushed. It's already missing lots of characterization for Takuru, Serika, and Itou. No proper adaptation of Kocchi Minna and Otomore-tan was also a disappointment, but what they did show was well done. I actually thought they did an even better job adapting Chaos;Head in just one episode than the previous anime, but why are they wasting time with this if they're already so short on run-time? It's cool, but you don't really need to know about Takumi to understand Chaos;Child. I've been saying people don't need to watch/read C;H to watch C;C, but now they're going to have even C;H spoiled. Well, at least it has a competent director that seems to understand the original material. I'm sure he's trying his best to salvage this from the stupid producers that only gave him 1 cour. |

| That recap was awesome! Silver link did a very good job with the animation and it was so awesome to see Takumi and Rimi Again. The first episode had alot of action in it for the beginning and after hearing that this is way longer then Chaos Head I'm a bit concerned if it does turn out to only be one cour. |
| Holy shit this (And the recap lel it was nice to see best girl Rimi and Sena again) was INFINITELY better than Chaos;Head lol and this new MC is freaking LEAGUES better than the last one I'm glad that Sliver Link didn't censor anything and that this sequel is just as fucked up as the last one (Which was probably one of the only things that I liked about CH besides most of the main girls) So far there isn't anyone that I dislike which is a plus but I feel like the pink haired girl is shady af...Looking forward to seeing how this plays out (Also I kinda ship the MC with the Vice President) |

| Episode 0 was a nice little refresher of Chaos;Head episode 1 of Chaos;Child wasn't bad by all means. I still enjoyed it. Silver link is doing a better job than Madhouse |

| Am I wrong in saying that Chaos;Child takes place after the BAD Ending of Chaos;Head, as a lot of the events were changed in Episode 0/The First Half from the Chaos;Head VN to begin with (like how Takumi's sister is killed, and the detective's friend is alive while in the anime it is the opposite), so if anyone has read the VN could they tell me? If it's going to be spoilers, please say it will be. Thanks. But anyway, that was a nice start. I have mixed feeling about the opening, but the ending is great. The First Half was actually well done in the most part, and it's funny to see people saying that 22 minute recap is better than the whole Madhouse series, haha. We got some interesting characters, and I'm interested to see where this goes, however Silver Link seems to be toning-down the amount of delusions, it seems, as the only one I noticed (I haven't read the VN) is where he was allowed to pass the cop where he found the strangled person. Also, did that blonde girl kill the policeman? Shouldn't she at least be detained as a murder suspect? I'll see what happens. EDIT: Best part of episode had to be Mountain Dew. |
| the episode i watched was actually a 47 minute long that actually carried both ep 0 and ep 1 (I'm spanish if anybody ask where i watch it like that), with ep 0 being a recapitulation of what was Chaos;Head, and then Chaos;Child. This looks pretty interesting, it is already obvious that it is better than Chaos;Head, tho is to early to say that. at least this wasn't speed of sound dialogue like Occultic;Nine, so that's even better. can't wait for more! so this murders are somehow related to Chaos;Head? |

| Pretty sure that watched the first series a long time ago and have to say that the recap episode wasn't that much of a help (might be because the watching Chaos;Head was also very confusing). Pretty interesting and i hope this time i'll understand more/something. |

| The recap of Chaos;Head was definitely a nice touch, but as others have said I do not remember some of the events happening as they were shown, such as Takumi's sister being killed. As for Chaos;Child itself, so far it's gotten off to a pretty interesting start with mysteries and violence right from the start. OP and ED were solid as well, so overall this is looking pretty promising so far. Let's just hope they can keep the pacing under control if the visual novel is as long as I've heard it is. |

| "WHO'S EYES ARE THOSE EYES!?" (those eyes; who's eyes??) - stupid line became a catchphrase of the franchise. The simulcast subs for this are garbage. The translations got butchered bad. There wasn't like typos and stuff, but the phrases were all way off. There's so many things wrong with that ChäoS;HEAd recap it's not funny - a rushed clusterfuck like occultic;nine... I do suggest watching the previous anime first, because although it wasn't fantastic, it was a lot better than this mess of a recap (that doesn't tell you anything that happened from the original series, just a non-spoiler preview. The original series was not something that had concepts easy for average people to wrap their heads around (psychologically induced material reification), and then it put the premise into a very awkward plot making it something that most people didn't like. They didn't even do the simulated surround telepathy voice? That was one of the unusual things they nailed, the telepathic voices sounded like they were coming from your head. ...Don't get me wrong, i did like ChäoS;HEAd, it was just poorly handled and got strange and less intense as it went along - turning into a weird hero's battle half way through. Second half was great though. After that i'm actually hyped for more. It seems like we'll at least get something better handled (hopefully) than it's predecessor. But then I noticed there were some changes so maybe I didn't completely waste my time. I was momentarily confused at first but then I realized that ep 0 must have been the tragic ending. Anyway, the recap wasn't too bad, but I admittedly did skip most of it since C;H is still pretty fresh in my memory and it was mostly the same with only slight changes. As for episode 1 of C;C, it also wasn't too bad. This one episode by itself was better than the entirety of C;H (but that's not too difficult since C;H was trash). Looking forward to seeing more of this. |

C;H was a bad adaptation so any of overall changes you saw were most likely because Madhouse for some reason did a shitty job with adapting C;H. The Ep0 is closer to how it was in VN. | Interesting that where I watched it, the first ep was 45+ minutes, including both C;H recap ep 0 as well as C;C ep 1. Have to say that overall, the recap of C;H was pretty enjoyable and a much required refresher after 8(?) years. It was pretty thrilling and a somewhat nostalgic ep as it reminded me of all the things I'd forgotten. Child is pretty cool, I was freaked out when they were in the love hotel's room, definitely well done there. Interested in a few characters, Onoe is definitely piquing my interest. | Great ep, ep 0 was to showcase the murders and the scheme going on, controlling human will through electrical signals which is also the basis for c;c. The murders continue again and the suspense was well done, really spooky :) Chloe a cute.  |

For me the best mystery for a long time and very very interesting and exiting. Of course miles better than O;N, the fast talking of O;N has simply destroyed the mystery... I hope they can keep the level |
| I'm worried about how many episodes it will get but so far it's good. I never explored all the "choices" in C;H so I'm assuming the different stuff in the first half was what I missed. Anyone know if that's the case or if things were changed for the recap? |
