| Came for Akio Watanabe character designs and slap stick comedy. Wasn't expecting there to be 3d. 3d doesn't look bad imo. So far starts off pretty alright! |

| The suggestive sexual jokes got a few chuckles out of me. Wonder if they can keep the funny sides up. Also, Komugi's character design makes her look like she'd fit right into the Monogatari series, which is a plus. |

| Well, it's pretty self-aware and has a few laughs. Nice not to be put to sleep by some ridiculously long lolicon exploitation transformation sequence, and to have a girl act more like a real girl who maybe doesn't want to be a magical girl. But... not really a terribly interesting show. |

| The CG scene at the beginning was a lot more bearable than I would have expected it to be, it didn't look bad at all I was pretty surprised. But an okay start, it's a pretty silly show, not unbearable. |

| I was expecting to be disappointed, but it still felt really bad. Komugi-chan was the first character I loved from Akio Watanabe and this almost feels like an insult to the original. I agree with Blazeofspikes. This Komugi is just energetic and dumb, Usa-P (Mugimaru) is not as cool (he was probably the most fun in the old OAVs), and all the extra cast seems so forced (yes, those 3 irrelevant girls). Not parodying anything, Momoi relegated to a mom, Akio Watanabe not involved (and that shows so much), and Yuji Ueda not being Mugimaru all kill this for me. I may watch the next one, just because it's Komugi-chan and I really really want it to be good, but I don't think I'm getting lucky. |

| Watanabe's designs convinced me to give the second episode a shot as well. Was cute and funny, but I don't know if it will last for 11 more episodes. Didn't know a thing about where it came from. And for whatever reason, I can't help but see Hachikuji when I look at Komugi. |

I think it is a sign that the show itself is self aware of the way they are doing things in this new Komugi. Just like the watered down Doronjo which was originally has a lot of innuendo and subtle hint of femdom, her 'newer' version Leopard is a cute and innocent girl. Do note that the new Komugi pronounce itself as a spinoff to the original (which makes it an absurd spinoff of a spinoff) and the main character name are different (Nakahara => Yoshida) not to mention Halco is voicing her mom could suggest that this is the alternate settings from the original. Just like Leopard pronounced itself in it's show as the successor to the Doronjo in spirit only. |

| Haha, good form for the return of corny cliche mahou shoujo! Trolly critters, sudden badguys, stardust deathbeam powers, card gathering, pripara 3d live, the works!  Start is bland, but i really there gets as much madness as the original... The original was a whole special level of retarded XD Only thing i'd seen that could compare with Dokoro-chan. THE ORIGINALS ARE WORTH IT!   You better watch~! |

| Just now watching it, and already hearing Momoi-chan isn't the seiyuu for Komugi. So that's a bad start. Seeing this did make me realize I never added the first season to my MAL, so there's that. I guess I'll still try to watch it, just for nostalgia's sake. No Momoi-chan is making it hard, though -.- |

Was pleasantly surprised. Don't really get anime that gives me that feeling like when I first started watching much anymore. Happy that this was very good! :D |

| From what I had read about, I expected something worse instead while not a masterpiece, in all the anime series is quite nice and the narrative, is not evil. Drawings and animations retain a level sufficient enough all the time, quite funny characters while not risalando for originality. Let's Komugication! |

| I recognized Halko as the mother immediately, though sounding closer to San this time around. It's too bad shes cast as the Mother and not Komugi though. Old Komugi >>>>>>> New Komugi That said, I didn't hate the show, I hope it improves at it goes on and is a little less generic :v |

| When I saw this on the season list my first reaction was : OMG Komugi is back?! First thing I noticed: Komugi's voice is different Second thing: no SoulTaker references? Third: Tatsunoko Production should just go bankrupt already. How dare you insult the great Komugi-chan in this way! The original was SO much better. |

| Man. I have to say something. There was this gut in me that this anime... Its like it was aimed for newcomers to get into Komugi-chan and maybe pick up the original later. I am mostly here because the brightly detailed and colorful uniforms... Turn me on. I WANT YOUR SOCKS, KOMUGI-CHAN!!!! I herd about the original and its wacky-ness thanks to Newtype USA, but back then when internet and anime is still young, I probably had a lot of anime I did not catch because I was a high school kid? Yea... Plus I think back then its to zany for my tastes. I don't know... Now that there was this reboot, I discovered from a gif of the 3D concerts,a nd this is coming from a person that is already used to "too" much 3DCG animation on PreCure, and I think it put enough effort to make it like a big budget thing. (Like.... Have you all seen the Smile PreCure "Glitter-Force"-exclusive dance videos? It feels so plain with just a single static BG/stage...) Komugi is like.. Middle-tier, but at least it's not well... Bad on accident. Again, The outfit is a (freaken) turn-on to me! Seeing Komugi-chan (at least this reincarnation and not the original you all know) in such low-tier roles is well... At least she gave some hope in life, but if I am looking for Excel-Saga kind of wacky-ness, I don't feel it, but then again I am not to surprised either. The gag where.. That guy in red hair took over Komugi's roles just after she de-forms back to her civilian form is kind of silly, and a good feeling that I will see bara guy in girl clothes more often. Not complaining of course! Overall: Its okay! I'm int he grey line, and I made my mini-resolution that I will not back down on anime this time (I dropped two 2015 anime due to scheduling and lost my motivation to go on), and I had some amusing things to say on Epi. 2. |
