| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I like how Shirayuki demonstrates more of her medical skills this episode. It's also nice to see the Zen/Shirayuki moments. And I agree about Zen thinking what Shirayuki doing is kinda cool :p  Episode felt somewhat slow though. As an apprentice, I think she might be overworking sometimes. Overall, good episode. Really enjoyed at the character progress and Shirayuki's role in the series. Nice to see Zen and his friends in action too this episode. They have neat fighting skills. |

| Castle with snow and everyone's sick in bed. Wing's character, who is more outside, is not badly sick. Nobu's character is also there. He is more curious about the relations for the two with the prince. That guy is like a reliable big brother and more of advisor. The lady, too is an advisor, but doesn't say much comparing to him. So, the reason for everyone to be sick is the wood? The air that burned from the wood... They got well because of her, who used up most of her time energy in the medicines. She's tired but only Nobu's character realized it. They found those thieves, who tricked them with the woods. Is it just me or one of them looks like that one of four in one of the ED scenes? The lord is back? |

| Am I the only one that just wants Shirayuki and Zen to just hurry up and kiss already xD This episode was more of the same - Decent world building, great character interactions all wrapped up in Shirayuki x Zen greatness.....It was pretty awesome seeing how Zen and his friends REKT those bandits too The cat guy is slowly becoming my favorite character though |

| Solid episode. Shirayuki got yet another opportunity to practice her med skills, and her r/s with Zen seems to have leveled up a little more. Next week looks interesting with the intro of the older prince. |

| Another slow episode, but much better than the previous ones with Shirayuki and Zen growing closer. The swordfight scenes were particularly well done. | That was another wonderful and adorable episode! Shirayuki is awesome! (And woah, Obi's tree hopping and jumping from the top of the fortress. That's pretty freaking cool. Not to mention, I love his eyes.) That part with Zen and Shirayuki holding hands was so perfect. The kiss seems so far away... Mitsuhide and Shirayuki riding together was also cute (because I love all of these adorable main characters) and it kind of reminded me of Akatsuki no Yona (like in chapter 70 something) when Yona was riding with Hak. | This episode felt REALLY slow, but it was still a fun little diversion, especially because it helped to strengthen the relationship between Shirayuki and Zen once again: it's pretty clear that this is building up to that eventually, though I wonder what will happen until then. |

| This was a nice episode. Zen and Shirayuki's relationship is blossoming more and more, and we got to see more of Obi, who seems to be a cool and funny character. We even got a little bit of action in this episode, so that was also pretty cool. Good episode overall |

| Meh...ok, I guess. Last week's was much better. The problem is that medicinal botany is supposed to be front and center in this series, yet along with most of the character work, its use in the story is surprisingly superficial and uncreative--the exception being the romantic interaction between Shirayuki and Zen, which isn't too bad. Am I the only one more intrigued by Kiki? If I were Zen, she's the one I'd be courting lol. |

| Random Kabedon lol. Zen and Shirayuki really like each other, don't they? They haven't known each other for that long but they're quite physically and emotionally close to each other. Plot still quite smooth and episodic, which is fine since it's a two cour (split). But I'm hoping to see some longer and serious plots come around. Hmm, Zen's brother? Looks like a playboy... o.o Of course he'll be obsessed with Shirayuki too lol. |
| I grinned so widely at the end when the most badass character appeared. So glad for romance progression (too cute with the holding the hand), some Obi and Zen action with the bandits, and insight into Zen's and Mitsuhide's bond. They are bros to the end, almost as close as Suna and Gouda from Ore Monogatari. Honestly this episode was just so great because it characterizes Shirayuki from Zen's eyes. Shirayuki is so hardworking when it comes to her goals. Even if she she isn't overpowered, its fascinating to watch her and see what she'll come up with to solve the problem at hand. Like Zen said, she is such a cool and admirable character. Though, she might have to rely on others more, since she constantly puts herself in danger, which is her major flaw. Anyone notice a bit Shirayuki x Obi? That moment when he jumped down that high fort like it was nothing and caught Shirayuki! When comparing how he and Zen walk, he is so wild looking around and always on his feet like a monkey while Zen is majestic and very princely when he takes calm and determined strides always looking ahead. Nevertheless, I'm still on Team Zen in this one, he has the most chemistry with our MC, and their personalities mesh perfectly! Nevertheless, I loved this episode in how it presents the characters, like the pacing, glad to know they won't end the series with a cliffhanger like I initially worried about. ~raisa864 P.S. | This show is growing in me, a lot. Zen is the embodiment of perfection, I mean, how can you be more perfect than him? I'd totally be homo for him. Also, finally we're starting to see some of Mitsuhide and Kiki which is very nice, I like Mitsuhide so far. |
