| No one should be surprised at at point. It's in Miyo's nature to help or stand up for someone such as Kaoruko. Got to see more of Kiyoka's past and his connection to Kaoruko. What a cliffhanger we got. So much for "no blindspot" at the dojo. I hope they know what they'r doing here cause Miyo is once again got caught involved in this. |

| Oh no, this one group is extremely misogynistic lol. Though hey, it’s kinda real, I mean losing to the only girl in the whole batch, and that too in front of a decent number of people would get anybody riled up. I liked how they at least tried to be sincere here, instead of throwing the cliche-est dialogue around about how the guy is now even more fired up over beating Kaoruko in a match. Though he was being a complete ass trying to hit Miyo.. sheesh, get a grip dude. Btw, liking how Miyo is trying to open up more and more with people. She taking a stand for Kaoruko, and yeah, even outrightly asking Kiyoka whatever she wanted to know is one new and refreshing thing to see. Never really paid much attention to mention it but yeah, the visuals in this series are actually pretty gorgeous. They should talk more outside lol. Not sure whether we really needed to know or not that Kaoruko was really in looooooove with Kiyoka back then, but okay if that deepens the friendship between her and Miyo… I mean Miyo came to terms with the fact that Kiyoka wasn't interested just a minute ago lol. Anyway, now the stuff has started happening. |

| You know, it kinda shows that this was written by a female author (the original novel that is), one very ignorant of how actual military barracks life really is, not knowing that barracks are like a hosptial, very clean, very orderly very neat, i mean its the army we are talking about and not a girl college after all, even tho that is the inspiration the author draws from :) Even the new girl being the former fiance of Kudou is precisely that. I dont want to sound smug but that was my first thought about her "true identity" xD. But hey, we needed this inspiring moment of two women becoming the absolute best friends and then crying in each other's arms, because that is the kind of story this also is considering the time period. But still, if next week Kaoruko saves everyone, i'm gonna flip it, lmao. |

| That kind of view has no place within either society or the military. Kudo's for Miyo for trying to stand up for Kaoruko. The little break they had was pretty nice and helped ease the tension from that scene away. Im glad that Godo managed to survive that trap. Loved that little expansion on Kudo's past and the little talk that he had with Miyo. Kaoruko's relationship with Kudo sure was an interesting one. And really served to make the forging of their new bonds that much more impactful. Creepy father's abilities though are way too scary. |

| So Kaoruko herself used to be Kiyoka's fiancee. Her feelings for him seems to be genuine, but it just wasn't meant to be. I'm glad that she opened herself up towards Miyo about this and the way that Miyo handled it was excellent. It was a moving scene between the two of them. However, the storm is fast approaching. The Gifted Communion are making their move and are catching everyone off-guard, including Arata. With Kiyoka heading off, it felt all too easy for the enemies to make their move and put everyone in danger. I hope that Kaoruko and the others can keep Miyo safe... |
| Miyo has come such a long way I’m so proud of her for standing her ground multiple times this season now. Sticking up for Kaoruko against those misogynistic soldiers was beautiful. Did Tanaka really not know that was his boss’ girl though?! Bro was ready to crash out all because she cooked his dumbass Damn man I feel bad for Godo. His dad basically working himself to death because Kiyoka didn’t wanna take over as commander is sad, but it’s hard to force someone to take on that responsibility. Just an unfortunate situation. Kinda crazy for him to dirty mack the commander and tell Miyo that he used to be engaged to Kaoruko tho 😭 that was not bro’s place at all. I guess it did need to come out. W Kiyoka for reassuring Miyo that she’s the only one for him. I love how patient and kind he is with her. Never gets annoyed or fed up about her telling her how he feels. That’s so important for a survivor of abuse. Poor Kaoruko has to deal with misogynistic colleagues AND the fact that she never got to tell the guy she loves how she feels while he’s moved on and is engaged to Miyo now. They never went into detail, but I guess Kiyoka thought they both didn’t wanna do the marriage and that it was forced on them. If he knew she really liked him, could’ve gone differently. It’s unfortunate. Beautiful moment with Miyo doubling down on Kaoruko being her first female friend and that it NEEDED to be her. This is such a big milestone for Miyo and important for her to grow and heal from her trauma. She gotta be careful though, Kaoruko might fall in love with her at this point 😂miyo just has this way of making anyone regardless of sex fall for her. Oh shit Usui is here!! Classic diversionary technique to get Kiyoka away from the command center and then strike. I’m really concerned for the other members of the unit. Hell of a cliffhanger. Can’t wait for next ep |

| It was nice to see Miyo pluck up courage and defend Kaoruko. Those misogynistic soldiers deserve more than just a reprimand: expulsion from the army would be most appropriate. It's a pity that Kaoruko's feelings for Kiyoka were not reciprocated. The reason for the breakup of their engagement is intriguing, especially since Kiyoka's previous breakups are said to have been with women who sought her wealth and influence. Kaoruko seems sincere in her feelings for him, so it is puzzling. However, he has gained a friend in Miyo that she doesn't mind that Kaoruko still has feelings for her fiancé. But, of course, not everything can be perfect in an episode. Naoshi is really powerful. I hope Kaoruko and the others can stand firm and protect Miyo until Kiyoka returns. |

| That dude about to hit commanders wife. What did he expected would have happened? Godo's father getting Uncle Ben treatment damn. Same lines as well. I am sure Karouko won't be a problem but she has lots red flags for potential trouble maker. I thought Miyo worried too much, Kiyoka already said he had no interest in any of his previous fiance and turned them all down. But she stood her ground well. Good tactics from Usui, use a diversion to get Arata & Kiyoka out and now he has free shot at Miyo. Ain't looking good. |

Now I will not be surprised if they give her some other male love interest later. @Narizor No one will exclude the dudes from the army due to the fact that they are stupid bigots. On the other hand, they can easily be excluded because they humiliated their colleagues or attacked relatives of senior officers. @Marinate1016 If she fell in love with her, then this would devalue so emphasized fact of their female friendship. Although correct me, wasn't Kiyoka's sister technically be her friend already? |

Kiyoka sister is older than her and more of an older sister figure. Kaoruko is her first girlfriend.

| Miyo said friendship is just as valuable as romantic love. That's my girl! She is right and she should say it! I enjoyed this episode more than the last couple of episodes, as I enjoyed the development of Karouko and Miyo's friendship (even though it felt like it was a bit rushed to cover in one episode) and finding out more about Kiyoka's past. |
What ridiculous prejudice these guys have against Kaoruko. So, . This Usui is sinister. Although, well, during the time the story takes place, there was a lot of that prejudice, even though it's less nowadays... This Usui is like Aizen from Bleach, lol. |

| For an episode that should have hit a few emotional notes, I feel like the author and the voice cast missed the mark. It was nice to see Miyo stand up to that guy but her just standing there to take that hit shows she still has a long way to go. Now if she will just stand up for herself the way she stood up for Kaoruko. I was not a fan of the supernatural elements in this episode either. I get it Usui is supposed to be this super-powerful guy, but the power system hasn't been fleshed out, so it takes away from the overall appeal of it being part of the series. I feel that this episode could have and should have been a lot better than it was. Also, I spotted 2 continuity errors in this one episode which took away from my overall enjoyment of the series. 1. We were told all the previous fiancé candidates were only after Kyoka's money but then we got this amazing woman in Kaoruko that doesn't fit with what we were told. 2. A bit nitpicky but Godo said last episode he is going to be Miyo's bodyguard when he gets healthy, in this episode he tells her that he is going to take down the Gifted Communion. Which is it going to be? He comes off as a bit of a braggart who isn't going to accomplish either thing he said he would. |

| Another episode that's plot, plot, plot. The emotional moments though are there but could have been better. Now that the secret is out that Karouko is Kiyoka's former fiancée, I wonder what's the reaction of anime-only watchers who were predicting Karouko was gay? Anyway, you can't stop them from shipping them because out of context, Miyo and Karouko have some chemistry. I'm reading LN 8, and the story will elaborate on Kiyoka's backstory and a future enemy. That flashback regarding Godou's father may be minor now, but it will be big down the road. ETA: Those who slandered Miyo in earlier episodes must take their walk of shame. Her standing up to those men is another sign of her growth, albeit far from perfect. Edit 2: The anime did not communicate how Godou's father died, and that's probably deliberate. |

| So Kaoruko was Kiyoka's fiancée before and she actually loved/love him wow... but Miyo is way too kind ahha it doesn't matter for her and would still want to be friend with her, anyway now danger is coming... :S |
