| Oh Uka. Even if she doesn't realize it, she's always gets paired up again with Kai no matter what. The attempt to change seats was awkward imo. A cute attempt to help a friend I guess. It also feels like Uka's feelings are becoming more and more conscious. That's the natural order of these type of shoujo anime. |

| "Yeah... this is a loner’s worst nightmare. Add to that the fact that Uka’s in the front row and she’s stuck between two popular kids... you know what? This might be worse than a nightmare. And now, thanks to Kai putting her on full display, she’s the center of attention too. But still, she has courage and doesn't let that bother her, and Kai backs her up at least. Gotta give praise where praise is due, god the OST is so good for this show. The OST that was playing when Uka found Kai was out of this world good. Now though, about Kai's type or whatever. If you think about it, “a frank, lively beauty that laughs a lot and has soft hair” is totally Uka. Kai just sees that side of her more than anyone else, so people don’t get why they fit together. But yeah, just because she MIGHT be his type doesn't mean that she wont have some competition. I mean, jesus, this dude has to have some sort of fan club or something lmao. It was absurd the amount of girls that were over him in the second half of the episode. Yeah, things happen, it starts raining... and the gang's lost.... lol. I really liked this episode, like liked a lot. Gave us a good perespetice as to what Uka is actually thinking and feels. FAR better than last episode. |

| So Fujita is jealous and know she is trying to get Uka into trouble. Hope things get solved quickly before someone gets hurt. Uka is improving her relationship with the class which is nice to see. |
| One can even say that she got slammed in between two hot dudes, lmao. It was funny to see how the Ishimori’s classmates treated her as as lucky charm, they all are supposed to be some sort of "trouble" kids, but they are actually nice to her, even during ther school trip, good to see. But this is a rom-com so you know, drama xD |

| It was nice of Miura to glaze Uka to the class and have them actually be receptive to it but it was even nicer of the teacher to let that massive disruptiion play out in its entirety, especially since they just escaped the "MC must sit next to the window" curse and ended up at the front of the class. Also, Uka being Ayumi's personal wingwoman from the shadows is adorable. |

| I LOVE how Ayumi realises Ishimori a lil autistic and needs to hear things vocalised so she directly tells her they’re friends. Cute little shit like that makes me love shoujosei so much. This whole series, but especially this episode, feels like a social development workshop for Uka! Miura helping Uka get confidence and talk in class is so nice. Putting her in the front of the class and having everyone kinda gradually ease her into the social fold is so wholesome. This is actually the nicest class ever lol. But despite all that Miura’s done for Ishimori already, we know relatively little about him other than the fact he’s clearly had a crush on her for a while. I wanna know what makes him tick and hopefully this class trip will be an opportunity for us to find out. Getting lost in the forest is a classic trope to bring characters closer lol. Can’t believe Uka the only one who dressed up properly for an outdoors excursion lol |

"This seat is magic" Well it won you nice derriere Uka, so yeah. 'Wait he complimented me?' "That wasn't a compliment, by the way." "poof" and later again answering her thoughts. Is Kai Telepathic or what? "Inorganic" dismissiveness of Uka is a foul play, Kai. "express ticket to despair" I do not like the osund of that. So, are we eventually going to get a Kai, Uka, Satoru triangle? prodded on by the unilinear desk formation? |

| That hospital room scene was pretty chill the girl's vibe was so laid-back and cheerful lol Relationship stuff was all over the place but Uka's getting bolder and it's actually sweet to see her opening up more in the class Soundtrack went hard felt like it really added emotion when they were lost in the forest haha Ayumi's directness with Ishimori's situation was unexpected but endearing the way she just tells her they're friends spot on Kai and Uka's interactions always have this touch of telepathic misunderstanding it's funny yet kind of deep pranksteure |

| Absolute trash. I can't believe I gave this 3 episodes. Can't take it anymore. I'm surprised how angry this show makes me feel. Maybe because this makes the entire Shoujo romance genre look bad. |
| Probably my favorite episode so far, I think Kai and Uka’s relationship is really starting to grow on me, I especially loved that scene when they were alone in that storage room, that did look like a damn comfy spot too, I could easily kick back and sleep right there, no wonder Kai doesn’t want it discovered lol. It’s just unfortunate that as the episode went on, Uka started to think that secret she learned from Kai didn’t mean anything, when in fact it very much did, at least giving what the show is about I can’t see it not meaning something lol. And it was nice to get a change of scenery with the class going on a field trip in the 2nd half of the episode, some good moments there, I also liked getting to see a bit more of the classmates outside of Kai’s friend group, they seem like a good bunch overall, I just hope it stays that way, but I can also easily see some drama creeping around the corner lol. And that did kinda happen when the gang went down the wrong trail and got caught in the rain at the end, not sure why the sign was pointing the wrong way but I think they’re gonna be alright, not much of a cliffhanger really lol, but I am glad the field trip is not over yet and we’ll be getting more next time. |
| Miura really gave Uka a big push in life, opening up new horizons for her and showing her that maybe people aren't as bad as she thought. At her high school, the bullying Uka experienced was more direct, but now she has Miura by her side to protect her. Of course, that brings its own set of problems - Miura's popularity will spark jealousy, and that girl already felt it. Let's hope the rest of the class doesn't turn on Uka for getting lost during the trip. She's finally starting to open up - it would be a shame if this caused any setbacks. |

| I was trying to put my finger on why this show feels so flat? and I'm starting to think that it's the music. It makes the whole episode feel like a flashback or calm moment. I really wish they would add something a little more bouncy and fun or at least not have the music be so constant throughout the episode. |

I feel like that brunette is the one who kinda played a prank on Uka to make them put the blame on her by changing the sign or something, since it's never overthinking whenever a character says they're "overthinking". If what i expect is what's actually happening, excited to see Kai defending her in the upcoming episode! |
Her evolution is progressing, but slowly. This whole 100 friends thing is clearly a reference to Komi-san, or if it were friends with benefits, it would remind me of B Gata H Kei, haha. The only thing happening is that she's starting to change and falling more and more in love with him. |
| Loved it! This is my favorite episode so far! I like complex mind-blowing episodes as much as the next guy, but I also can't help but smile watching a group a friends be friends. It's great that Ishimori has started to bond with her classmates; especially Miura... |
| I really wanted to like this anime as the first episode was quite interesting, but oh god- it's becoming a little cringey. MC is painfully awkward to the point where I have a hard time finding it adorable or charming. Meanwhile, Miura is such a typical shoujo male lead that every other girl in school has a crush on, but he lacks any interesting depth as a character to me. I'm giving this a few more tries since we're only on ep 3, but I am a little disappointed, ngl. |

| The actual dialogue and interactions between characters, and some responses from the female MC's inner voice are fine. But this ongoing "thought descriptions" of what is going is happening is getting annoying, especially when the descriptions don't match up to what happened and seem over the top. For example, "my back sprang wings", there is a better way to express this feeling. They are not in a relationship, more of a close friendship, with the male MC feeling responsible for helping her break free from her former self, and also opening up more to trust her. So even though it is more than just a regular friendship, which for the female MC could be "freeing" in many ways, I don't think describing their interactions as freeing her enough to fly with wings, is a good call here, maybe if she did get into a relationship with the male MC, then it could be described as her "flying through the air", as freedom plus happiness. |

| She might be awkward with her responses and gets flustered many times, but I'm enjoying seeing Uka opening up more and more to her classmates. Ayumi is already a nice friend to have and it was nice for Uka to swap seats for Ayumi so that she can sit next to her crush. It also helped Uka to be next to Miura once more as well. A school field trip in the countryside is something I always love, so this part of the episode with the class exploring the trails was very nice. Although Uka and her group were following the signs closely, the fact that it was taking them on the rougher trail did make her worry, so I don't blame her for admitting that they might be lost. That, along with the rain, did cause a bit of panic, but good on Miura for being the voice of reason to make sure no one does anything stupid. Hopefully they can find some good shelter next time. I also hope this doesn't hurt Uka's confidence too much, but we shall see. |

| Uka-chan is cute in her awkwardness. Was also cute Miura was blushing over just bedhead. Now I wonder why he sleeps so much. It seems to be a bit of a trope so it likely appears elsewhere. |

I think the problem here is you'd want her to have a mind of her own. For instance with the torn sheet, you wait for her to notice and see if she reacts or not then jump in if she doesn't ask for a new one. Standing in before she takes the first step doesn't help anyone but Miura himself because of whatever "promise" he made.
Anyways this was a better episode than the previous ones.

| There have certainly been worse offenders, but please can the next big shoujo anime adaptation not be one of the million "guy likes girl, is abrasive and rude to her, she still just falls for him because he's nice 1 out of 10 times". I want to watch more shoujo, but not this type. Am I'm just waiting for the moment when the main guy has rivals because out of no where multiple guys start falling for her at the same time. |
| Kai calling her a gemstone was so sweet. I have no idea how I missed that the first time. Cannot get over how cute Uka's room is. I swear Kai also has narcolepsy There's something about anime with a dark haired FL and blonde ML. I hate how buggy Uka's eyes look. Its incredibly sweet that Kai is helping her get used to people and gaining the ability to converse with others. I'm a little jealous lol Maybe her name is Marin, but she flipped the sign when no one else was looking. Ppl were sort of judging Uka for her outfit choice, but she's clearly the only one who prepared ahead and saw the forecast lmao Why tf does this have a 6.96? I'm really enjoyed this anime so its weird to see such a low score. |

| @cooldogmom Like I said, I'm surprised myself. I might've been a bit hyperbolic, but this anime really, really rubbed me the wrong way. I haven't seen too much shoujo romance, but I liked Kimi ni Todoke, Fruits Basket and A Sign of Affection. This show, however, I dislike almost everything in it. It just makes me lose faith in the genre, and I think it'll only feed into the existing stereotype of shoujo romance being overblown, nonsensical and trope-y. Characters are uninteresting and act in odd and overdramatic ways; Ishimori intentionally bombing her entrance exams for a guy she ran into one time is... frankly crazy. The situations are unoriginal and contrived and don't make sense a lot of times. Miura is not just observant and considerate, he seems to be tracking her movements every second of the day and can read her mind. He puts words in her mouth as if she's a toddler and takes care of everything for her before she even realizes what's happening. He constantly drops these dreamy, swoon-worthy lines that are unearned, but everything she wanted to hear and needed to hear and hit her like a truck every time. I could keep going... I understand that you're enjoying this, I was hoping I could, too. I'll just check out one of the classics if I feel like getting a shoujo fix this season... |
