| I was curious, so I did some research to see if it would be made into a live-action film in Japan, and found an article published in 2021 that said it would be made into a live-action film in Hollywood, not in Japan. There was no information at all on how far along the production was, so I wondered if they were really making it. I wonder. |

| I don't get the need to turn series that have high quality animated adaptations into "live action", especially something like Made in Abyss which will have to be 99% CGI in a "live action" version anyway. What would be the point? |
