| Beach episode! Lol, this late in the anime but ok, it was for training camp purposes and obviously, the anime wanted to set up more opportunities for Ririsa and Okumura to be alone. There's the fan service and fun in the sun. Glad they actually did a beach episode as a change of scenery and away from the usual city vibes. One more episode to go! |

| Okumura's "2D girls only" policy will never not be hilarious but wow, I wasn't expecting it to come from a place that was so 3D grounded. Aria resonatating with a story about a parent leaving their kid as deeply as she did made perfect sense too. And man, that ending's got me feeling guilty for all the times Mikari's hopeless battle with the childhood friend curse cracked me up. Ririsa's rivals really stepped up their game in such a short amount of time, I mean damn |
| The fact this 6 month long journey comes to an end next week is breaking my heart. Idk what ima do without my babies π going out with a bang though with a beach trip these last two eps! This is really a perfect capstone for the season because we see all the girls realise how much they care about Okumura and vie for his attention, but also Okumura starting to realise he needs to start seeing the girls as more than just their cosplays if he’s gonna take his photography to the next level. Mikarin and Aria had the best moments today for me. I love all the girls so much, but I can’t choose a best girl. They’re all great. Aria making Okumura tear up because she’s the first person to really get him on a deeper level in terms of the trauma his mom leaving gave him was beautiful. I know the “no 3D girls” gimmick is funny, but it also makes a ton of sense. I mean if your own mother abandons you, why would you ever trust anyone not to again. Finding solace in 2D fictional characters who are permanent and unchanging is a natural escape. While people do change, it doesn’t make your experiences and time with them any less valuable, so hopefully his continued time spent with the girls will help Okumura realise that. Mikarin π .. always felt like she’s been done a little dirty in this story. Got introduced and stole our hearts then we kinda didn’t see her for like 8 episodes or so and now she’s back and still kinda getting overshadowed by the other girls. She always has such sweet moments like today when she stayed with Okumura the whole two hours he slept. “I’ve held out 10 years already” π pure angel. Totally understandable why she broke down when Ririsa came in the room. It’s like she does everything to make herself more attractive to Okumura and he still has never looked at her the way he looks at Ririsa who he relatively just met. She finally admitted to being in love with him now though so next week should be a spicy finale. I really hope we get a second season I’ve enjoyed every moment of this show. |

| The beach episode this late in the game feels like a long coming reward for the Manga Club continuing their cosplay beside the waves...and there is Mikaki still thinking that she still has a shot to earn Okumura's heart. Well, what to do with the 3D girls at this point? The blurring line between 2D and 3D in terms of photos and real-life examples is quite the dilemma for Okumura, and besides Mikari, there is Aria as well, but it's Ririsa that really steals the show for him, first wearing their assigned outfit and then reverting to the normal swimsuit, which still strikes his heart all the same. Of course, Mayuri-senpai was hoping for Okumura's praise (but of course he didn't lols), and the latter's One Punch Man and HxH (on a pun) workout is quite the stretch lols. And then with the introvert that is Nonoa, her boosting Okumura's motivation certainly puts her as a potential target. Once again, the usual Test of Courage at night with the different pairings sure cultivate very different outcomes, especially Okumura with Aria, though being the hardcore otaku he is, ghosts and spirits are nothing to him. And when it comes to love, Okumura's certainly had his fair share of troubles except for his loyalty to Liliel which held him until now, and the true heart-to-heart talk with Aria about 3D girls like her, though it helps change his heart a bit. Of course, the beach photoshoot is the main event, and getting Okumura to see Liliel in a 2.5D light certainly is the trouble he's trying to catch as a photographer, much less understanding his affinity with 3D women. Mikari slowly hinting Okumura that she's been in love with him since young...and now she's about to be challenged even further with Ririsa. How will these two girls close to him since the very beginning, hit off their romantic troubles? |

| Finally got a beach episode and it was great although I also felt that Mikari has been neglected for too long and now suddenly Aria has feelings for Okumura too after thinking him as a weird otaku. Speaking of Aria, she looked really good in her swimsuit but then again the other girls looked good in theirs too. Anyways, while Mikari has confessed her feelings about Okumura to Ririsa I still don't think that Okumura likes her the same way which is unfortunate. If there's anyone that he may really like I think its Ririsa since they have spent a lot time together and she makes a killer Liliel but nonetheless I'm curious to see how the finale plays out. |
wow, wonderful episode and a beach ep at that too, cooked fr. one of the best of the series. all of the okumura's interactions (except poor mikarin) were really fruitful, especially with aria. it made me root for them for a solid 10mins ngl!!!   damn, next ep is the last one. |

| This episode covers half of chapter 64 to chapter 67 of Volume 9. The next episode should be able to wrap up all of Volume 9's beach arc. Hopefully we'll get an announcement of another season as there is plenty material for it. |

| Saved Okamura arc at the very end intresting. Beach episode too, this show knows how to treat it's fan. Checkbox for every event in beach episode was covered. One punch man, HxH routine lolππ Ririsa giving instructions from video game, Ririsa chasing after spirit..  The fun and sexiness aside the main focus on Okamura and his problem. Due to his lack of interest in 3D girls he can't improve as photographer. I mean it is rightfully played for laughs but if you see your own mother leave you who's left for you to trust. Shutting of everyone is the natural thing to do. Aria was the first person who understood his pain. It's really sad for Okamura and good to see Aria consoling him and bonding over it. Aria was always calling him weird otaku and now what she is down bad already. I always praise Mikari's dedication and like always her hardwork to make her senpai notice is very commendable. "2 hours is nothing for me, I have waited for 10 years" Damn man, I really bad for her and everyother childhood friend Makeines. Yeah sure Okamura maybe has slight more intrest than 0 when it's Ririsa and she kinda overreacted but it came out frustration. Now she also told Ririsa let's see what happens, Ririsa isn't there yet. But sooner or later she will be. Even in a beach episode where I expected boobs and giggles it went drama heavy and was really good. Just shows how good this anime is.  Mikari fans eat good today but Aria moment was powerful imo. My bois harem keep expanding. I have nothing against them but you two keep fighting and let best girl Ririsa win in peace as she meant too. Only 1 episode left of this peak. When I started this 6 months ago I didn't think I would love it this much. I so gonna miss my girls and my Goatamura. |

| What can you expect? It's weird to be almost at the end of this season, but the beach episode is getting interesting (though, reading the manga, you know what's coming). Okumura being Chad, answering why he's an otaku to Aria, and that ending with Mikari and Ririsa... Damn! Poor sensei, for me the best one of the whole year, the guy Okumura says "nah" π€¦π»βοΈ... | I came for the beautiful cosplay babes in swimsuits, I got beautiful moments between the characters instead, but there were still swimsuits of course lol. But yeah there was some truly great stuff in this one, first off I found the stuff with Okumura trying to see cosplayers as more than just 2.5D pretty interesting, I don’t think he’s magically gonna take better pictures with that in mind, and he has a dedication to manga accuracy which is already very respectable, but I can see what Hanyuu Sensei means in Okumura needing to see the person behind the cosplay, and throughout this episode he slowly started to see that with Nonoa, Aria and Mikari. And speaking of Aria and Mikari specifically, their moments were really great, the way Aria connected with Okumura, as well as Mikari getting her time with Okumura after all the time she’s waited for him, really good stuff, it’s just a shame the episode ended the way it did, but I don’t think things will go sour between Mikari and Ririsa, their cosplay bond is tight at this point and I think this is a conversation they can have, should make for a good finale, not ready for this half a year long journey to end but 2-cours are always like that, they hurt the most to say goodbye to. But the serious stuff wasn’t all this episode had to offer, there was plenty of beach episode goodness as well as general goofiness too. All the girls looked great in their swimsuits, both in and out of cosplay, I’m low-key a bigger fan of them out of cosplay, not sure how Okumura survived that onslaught of beauty lol, bro’s issues gotta be very deep rooted, it just seemed like dedication until the mom backstory reveal, it made for good comedy bits tho lol. And speaking of Okumura, holy shit bro is shredded, he’s my new inspiration. I also really liked the spooky bit, Ririsa trying to catch the ghost was hilarious and so was Nonoa planning to fight the ghosts, and of course that one extra creepy one was real lmao, I’ve been rewatching Dark Gathering recently so I’ve gotta call up Yayoi and the gang to take care of this S rank haunt lol. |

| I found it strange that this tradition was skipped, especially in an anime like this, but finally, the beach episode is here! Most guys would be thrilled to see their 22-year-old teacher in a tight swimsuit, but it seems Okumura isn't part of that demographic. What a shame! Still, seeing him so muscular and following Saitama and Netero's routines was inspiring and envy-inducing. Okumura is so bad at dealing with 3D girls that even when he tries to understand them, he ends up charming them more. Unfortunately, I doubt Aria will be the winner in the end. They had some great moments in this episode, and they even look like Aria's parents when she's seen alongside Okumura. But he'll likely end up with Lilysa, which is a shame since Aria is my second favorite after Mikari. Now let's see what happens in the final episode, especially when Mikari confesses to Lilysa that she has a crush on Okumura. |

| A very fun summer/beach episode with stronger harem vibes than usual. It also manages to deliver several really good emotional moments, especially the Aria "I would not betray the man I love" scene and Mikarin struggles. |
| The obligatory beach/hot springs episode and they pulled it off. It was to be expected that the girls looked great, but Okarin following the OPM training regime and having a nais bodi was unexpected. And he's totally gone the chad route with his new attitude towards 3D girls. Aria is absolutely adorable. And she's unexpectedly mature and able to communicate in a way the 3 other girls simply can't. Best girl in my book. Poor Mikari though, I feel her pain. |

| Self-awareness that this is just a sport anime where the sport is cosplay lol Under Sensei's advice to see the cosplayer behind the character, Okumura changes his approach to 3D girls. Mikarin is the first to pick it up but things take a turn when he starts being approachable with Nonoa and the others too, meanwhile, Aria wondered what Mikarin saw in him. Oh,of course he's not just an Otaku, but a ripped Otaku thanks to the One Punch Man routine. Three π So the best looking shot was the one where Miliel photobombed Liliel, capturing the natural smile. The supernatural exists in this universe and Okumura, Ririsa and Nonoa all casually accept it. Who is the long-haired girl from Okumura's childhood before he became a 2D-loving Otaku? It happened before he met Mikari, so Aria or someone never brought up again? Mikari spent two hours with her childhood crush but this is just how he's going to be with all of his cosplayer friends now not just her. |

 True and Real. XD I mean i relate to this (always have), not as an otaku necessarily, but my psyche is really maladapted to the mundanities of society, but hyper adaptive to absurd or grandiose circumstances. People like us would be immediately at home in and able to figure out the world pretty quickly if isekai'd (most normal people would probably have potentially fatal mental breakdowns)... ...especially if such a situation shifted the survivorship balance in favour of understanding and discovery, instead of charisma and organization (which is what stuff like magic or spiritual powers provide, the ability to master the world through discovering understanding it's workings, instead of having to rely on cooperation of others and tools that have to be made by many people collaborating). I've thought about these things a lot... Though i don't copy some anime or manga's workout routine lol. Any self-aware person will know that none of these individual media are real in any sense, but there's always that childlike hope that something similar might exist somewhere. |
