| Rick should be Angelica's life coach or something, not just helping with her training but also being a strong person. Tbh without him, Angelica probably would've felt like defeated after all this was over. They seem to among the two most important characters in the show now..or least this arc. |

| Angelica episode so it was automatically amazing. 😻 The best episodes of this series are the ones where she dominates the screen time. My baby was going thru it at the start with the training with Rick lol. She did well to put up with it and it looks like her efforts paid off. I love how she froze up when Rick asked what she would’ve done if she didn’t run into Geith until the final tho 😂 . Guarantee Geith won’t be underestimating her again. Can’t wait for next episode to see the rest of the fight, I’m sure her fiancé won’t take things lying down though Also, this director LOVES Angelica ass shots lmao. He sneaks a couple in every ep. At least there’s no excessive pantsu shots  |

| Angelica being subject to Rick's training taken from his time at Orichalcum Fist, she's suffering the same to get stronger... Rick may be like Noor, but at least he has a brain knack for the trainings to teach Angelica...except that he went through the exact same trainings as before so much that he wants to run away from it, no matter how many times he was resurrected time and time again. And through Angelica, it's clear that nobility life is not for her, but because she still wants to become the first female knight, that she perseveres under this path, and the results speak for themselves. That said, one of the Six Jewels is still in captivity, and that is still the main mission as of now. The real tournament has begun with the high-profile players, though remembering Snape's match-fixing attempt, this will not be an easy one to claim the jewel off of Kelvin's belt, something that he has been trained for for 6 years with his trainer, the semifinalist of the tournament. As expected, Geith is not easy to pass, but Angelica, Rick and Broughston move forward in their own respecitve lines, while watching the 3-time champion do his thing as he always does, exciting the audience with his reputation. Day 2 of the tournament, and Angelica vs. Geith is one highlight of a match that I'm excited to see of. Let's see who is the real weakling here. |

In a 26 episode series of yesteryear, this would make sense as a fun one-off, but in a 12 episode season, I really couldn't care less about side-character development. I guess this kind of side-story is necessary to prevent every episode being Rick stomping his opponents without trying, but this episode did not really move the story forward at all. Angelica is the best part of the story so this is an L take. |

| Yep I called it, red dragon was cheating, what a cowardly thing to do. Glad they had her catch on right away, instead of waisting time with her getting beat up, then figuring it out at last moment to win. She was able to show off her new hand blade technique from her hard work training and surprise everyone in the arena. But this episode had things in it that had nothing to do with main story, so it wasted time. Now they obviously baited us into watching next week's episode 🤣 I would have watched even if this episode ended with her winning the fight. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| Liked the training; Angelica certainly got stronger, but I'm not a fan of tournament arcs. Especially not unecessary cliffhangers. |

| @Aldaric Probably my biggest complaint as well. Flashbacks can be good, but this one was totally unecessary. Idk why some shows are so obsessed with overusing them, when 90 percent of the time I literally could not care less. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Angelica's training clearly paid off, and she's become my favorite character. Although it pains me to say it, I think she's a better waifu than Reanette at the moment. However, she should be more grateful to Rick because if Broughston had been the one training her, she would have died many times. I hope this doesn't end up being too cliché, with Angelica losing and Rick having to avenge her. But it's obvious Geese will cheat somehow. I feel like when Angelica hit him, some kind of barrier formed, so he might be using some kind of weapon or something like that. His strength isn't normal for someone without training, unlike Kelvin, who was talented but trained to become the best pugilist. |
