 Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Kazuki Kaburagi's Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata (Magic Maker: How to Create Magic in Another World) light novel on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured). The television anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025. Cast Shion: Megumi Han ("Oshi no Ko") Marie: Ai Kakuma (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) Staff Director: Kazuomi Koga (Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai) Series Composition: Keiichirou Oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome) Character Design: Takayuki Noguchi (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) Music: Kei Yoshikawa (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. 2), Kana Hashiguchi (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 2nd Season) Music Production: Toy's Factory Studio: Studio Deen Kaburagi began penning the action fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in June 2017. Kadokawa acquired the novel and published the first novel under its MF Books imprint in May 2020, featuring illustrations by Kururi. The second volume was released in December 2020. Manga Doa began serializing a manga adaptation by Tomozou Nishioka in June 2021. The third and final volume was released in February 2023. Synopsis A man who was thirty years old and wanted to use magic died unexpectedly, and when he woke up, he was reborn in another world. Named Theon, he had high hopes that there would be magic in another world, but there was no magic in that world. Theon became depressed and lethargic, but an event led him to discover the existence of magic. "That's right. If there is no magic, then I will make it myself." With this in mind, Theon began researching magic from that day onwards. Eventually, through the spread of a disease that can only be cured by magic, and a chance encounter with an enemy that can only be defeated by magic, Theon becomes a hero who saves the world. | Hmm, Ai Kakuma who voices Eris in Mushoku Tensei got my hopes up but then remembered, she also voiced the brat in Mofumofu which lowered my expectations. Since I can assume that Marie is the little girl and I can only hope it's not a high pitched voice like the brat i mofumofu. We'll see. Kind of want to watch this but It'll depend on voice acting mostly right now. |

| Third and final volume? So, is this likely to get a full adaptation? Shota isekai is a really strong trend right now. Also, correct me, who knows. Megumi Han didn't get much big roles for a while after LWA, but Arima Kana brought her back into the spotlight? |

| Who even writes this bs? Plot is so mind numbingly dumb that I don't even know what to say. No magic in this world - mc gets depressed and magically discovers magic. Disease that can only be cured by MAGIC and enemy that can only be defeated by MAGIC?? Ofc then the mc clears those and becomes the hero... Won't be surprised if this gets multiple seasons. |

| Would've really loved to read the manga, but it's likely axed or discontinued after volume 3 or they have yet to have any source to adapt. So far, I have yet to determine how many volumes there already are for this series. Still hoping we get a new or continued manga adaptation after this anime ends. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
