| The weird just keeps on happening in this show. This episode, a cat entity is out here causing trouble with the ability to warp a dimension. However, she doesn't to be protrayed as a major threat. I also wasn't expecting the episode to have fan service with pool scenes. Kinda strange for a penultimate episode. |

| Needed a furry to complete the best girl list in this show. As Ren and Sumireko were walking along the riverside path, they suddenly found themselves in an alternate dimension. Then the "Cat General," who rules the city's anomalies, appeared. Ren was nearly killed, but thanks to Sumireko's good deeds, and the warning from John Doe which came from Ren's phone, and they were spared. With a cursed object obtained from the Yorumun case, Ren headed towards Kisaragi Station. No way the only thing that got Ren's attention so much that he opened his eyes was the fact that Sumireko hasn't worn a swimsuit once... lmaoooo. What a weird pletimuinte episode this was. I mean, I would've thought that the entire episode would be on the Cat General girl, but half of it was just, nothing basically. And the whole pool scene, for an ecchi show, lasted a minute at max... what an "ecchi" this is. Cat General best girl now though. Do wonder what the finale could have in store because there's no way they can wrap up the Cat General plot in one episode... right? |

| With Yorurun's Curiosity resolved, a Garei like her may be valuable, though Ren thinks otherwise that she's even more valuable in other areas. Summer is around the corner, and Sumireko desires the pool, but never got to wear a swimsuit nor she is also able to swim as well. That always gets the young boy going for a tease, and a big black cat, along with a call from the Old Man to be warned about the Cat Sovereign who is the Curiosities' boss, she's a real threat. It's only thanks to the repayment of the black cat that shielded her for a day that she lets both of them loose, that allows Ren to submit his Curiosities to Kisaragi Station, therefore increasing their chances to go back home. With Summer vacation on the way, Ren looking forward to reading Sumireko's new novel about the mysterious siblings, and Oto joining Nodoka to the pool the next day, Sumireko feels jealous not being able to join the middle school group of girls, which Nodoka is quite bold. However, the Curiosities that Ren submitted...weren't quite enough for their ticket back home, and is Sumireko gets her novel done and published, things just get more awry, with Ren offering himself as a sacrifice for Oto's ride to Andoro. We're at the weird point of shuffling the manga's progression, how will the anime end like this? |

| Without a doubt, this anime is one of the very few that would hurt if it doesn't get its deserved beach or pool episode... are you telling me we won't get to see Sumireko in a swimsuit? Damn, Erika-chan hid her attributes well. What could happen in the final episode? Now the cat girl, who manages the oddities in the area, has appeared. Also, Oto doesn't seem too happy about going home after making several friends. |

| The interaction between the Cat General and played out very differently in the manga compared to the anime. In chapter 39/40, Ren and Sumireko were attacked by a group of large cats instead of one which resulted in Ren almost dying again. The rest of the scenes seem like anime original content while the pool scene is from a bonus chapter in the omake section of Volume 4 after the Shrine Princess arc. It looks like they are stretching things by using anime original content to fill time because there is no way there are going cover the Cat General arc which is all of Volume 5 in one episode. I won't be surprised that the next episode will have an anime original ending. |

| imagine adding a "swimsuit episode" that consists of literally nothing, and it doesn’t even have the decency to include best girl because "muh kappa curse" this show is already mid, not sure why they want to tank it into bad territory. it's already damn close |

| Just one last ep next week 😢 I hate that this show never got the love it deserved. I also hate that we still haven’t seen Sumireko in a swimsuit 😭 a pool episode without Sumireko is criminal, but Erika-chan and the other girls looked amazing. Nodoka and Occhan are a ship idc what anyone says, the way they look at each other and stuff, they’re cute! “Let’s stay friends forever” ❤️ Couldn’t shake the feeling of dread in this one though. While everyone was at the pool having fun, just felt like something bad was gonna happen with Ren. Cat girl finally showed up in the anime after all these weeks of teasing and I knew there’d be more to her than just roughing up Ren a bit.. dunno what she’s done but surely it’s related to Ren using himself as a ticket to send Occhan home? Wild cliffhanger to end off on. Would love another season here but idk if the ratings and merch sales are gonna justify it, shame because no way any of this stuff gets wrapped next week😢 |

| I was expecting like half of the episode to be dedicated to the pool, but it was unfortunately a pretty short bit and didn’t even include the resident monster boobs waifu Sumireko, I thought after that talk about never wearing a swimsuit it would happen but it did not, sad but I did like what we got of the pool, Oto and Nodoka were cute together and there were some cute scenes of the other girls. The main focus of this episode tho was Sumireko finishing her book and Adashino potentially giving up his life to get Oto home, it’s an interesting situation that could make for an intense finale but it is a bit of a shame this isn’t following the manga from what I’m seeing, as well as the stuff with the cat girl which apparently goes way differently in the manga as well, I get that they wouldn’t be able to cover her entire arc in the anime but it’s still unfortunate the first encounter with her was nerfed. All that being said, I’m excited for the last episode and this has been a very fun show, it hasn’t quite been the spooky Dark Gathering-ish show I wanted but it’s been a good time. |

| @razisgosu I did see that someone mentioned it was a bonus chapter in this thread, I guess the locker room scene was added because of the context in the anime that Oto is leaving. |

| Saitou Chiwa (Taokaka, Tamamo) is pretty much in her element with this role. AddaeAkono said: I won't be surprised that the next episode will have an anime original ending. Just finished the episode and while I haven't started reading the manga yet it certainly felt like they're trying to wrap things up with the next episode. That's too bad but I was planning to catch up with the original after finishing the anime anyway. |

| While I feel Ren's concern on not being able to pick out Sumireko's swimsuit he's got bigger things to worry about like sacrificing himself to send Oto home, and I wonder what he told her as she may not agree with his plan. Beyond that, while I liked this episode with the fanservice I doubt that this will end with all the loose ends tied up. For example, a cat girl just made her official introduction. |
| This episode made me feel a wave of constant sadness bc of the way Adashino and Oto were acting, it seems like their “home” that they’re going back to isn’t what they make it out to be and Adashino just sacrificed himself to become energy for the train to take Oto all the way to her destination this shit is so sad man why can’t these siblings just be happy together😢 Putting aside the sadness let’s talk about the fanservice in this episode I swear to God Erica is the finest girl out of Oto’s friends I love her hairstyle and she got some massive ass tiddies😫 LMAO I never say this and don’t think I’ve ever have bc usually I just chalk it up as 2 girls simply being friends but yo what was with the Yuri moment with Oto and Nodoka? Like that was clearly such a lesbo moment between I couldn’t help but point it out and I’ll be honest I don’t do same gender ships but im really loving Oto x Nodoka they’re both so cute and adorable and they love each other so much I hope they still remain together as friends🥰💜💛    |

The name of her new book is the title of the anime. Ren offered himself for the ticket? The heck. That peanut bar is it? that Oto gave her friends might make them forget about her or something I'm guessing. |

| Oh boy this looks depressing as how Ren still unable to reach the ticket quote for him and his dear sister. Now he's gonna sacrificing himself? After a long time, cat sovereign finally meet with the main duo. But to think that it may be the last of them to meet kind of be more depressing. Even the swimsuit session doesn't help at all lol. Now if only its truly happen next tho. Let's see the final! |

| I need more answers on main point of the story what happened with this two kid? What happened in other station of the train? What is the boy? But the Anime dont give me any answers of corse its a mystery anime so I should not expect everything at once and I dont but the anime gives so much unnecessary episodes and almost nothing about most interesting part |
