| Ren running away from his father might be a bit overexaggerated but he seems like the type of kid that would do exactly that. Plus, he had a good reason to, at least from his perspective. Aoi was able to spend some time with Takumi this episode although her reactions are always the same when she's around him. She knows that Takumi is in love with Mira though. |

| It was nice to see Aoi finally get to spend some time alone with Takumi even if it didn't turn out how she wanted it to I really hope she finds someone who will love her. |
| Dang... this episode's drama was unexpectedly good, I'm surprised. When Astro Note wants to have this serious moment to make you emotional it can deliver well Poor Naosuke lol, helping Aoi all this time to get hit by that in the end |

| Damn. This episode was good. Probably the best one yet. I feel so bad about Aoi-chan... Or at least I did. It's great that she handled the rejection really well and managed to move on so quickly. I feel happy for her cause Takumi finally remembered who she was. I can't really blame him for forgetting one random employee he only met once. But him not noticing her feelings for him was kinda dumb ngl lol. I still feel a bit bad for her cause she never had a chance with Takumi... I don't think Mira's in love with just Takumi. She's in love with Astro Lodge and Earth in general. It must be her earthling blood. Poor Naosuke. Ren thinks he's a cat lol. In what universe does a cat look like a dog? What a dumb kid lol. At least his dad is great. Crazy how they're not related by blood. Why was Shoin in Astro Lodge at that time? He's just becoming more and more sus. Matsubara is reminding me more and more of Akemi from Maison Ikkoku now. The next episode will be focused on her it seems. That's interesting. This show has grown on me. It doesn't just feel like a Maison Ikkoku rip-off anymore (despite the obvious similarities). It's sad that it's ending so soon. I would've liked another season or two. It's a fun series. |
| Solid episode, though I was a little disappointed we didn't see the "war" in the super market, I'm glad to see Ren's dad get some positive spotlight as well as Aoi-chan getting a happy ending instead of NTR! Also finally, "cat's" outta the bag regarding Naosuke's "not dog" status! |

| I wonder what Ren's father was referring to with the line about him not being biologically-related (related by blood) to the son. I mean, I know that most likely means, in this context with the other information given, that his former wife before she died and before she presumably was involved with him must have had the child with another man, but I'm just curious as to whether it was a fling and they never married, they were divorced, or if he also died of some cause like she eventually did. Not really relevant to the main story or even the side stories of the supporting characters regarding the father-son duo's lives and activities in the present-day, but I don't care. I still like knowing those extra details. |

| Shoin is working with the hubbies, gave out when he said they'll find out that it's a fake key. How will they find out? Well he'll just tell them. Mira's become an admirable landlady. I'm happy with how things were handled with Aoi. She's a good girl but Mira best. I kinda had a feeling Aoi might end up with Shoin and is it gonna be the case now with that misunderstanding? |

| Other than Aoi still remembering the kiss from Takumi, and the bickering between father and son for a meet-the-parents' visit, Shoin desperately wants the key, which Mira looks like she's taking care of Astro Lodge more than being Planet Wid's princess. Just like with the last, Ren denouncing his father is just standard fare, and the "separation" is just part of the family's silly antics. Of course, everyone knows about Takumi and Aoi's relationship and how the former must resolve things between them, and how both and Ren and his father, despite being not related by blood, Tasuke gave them a place in Astro Lodge (just like with Aoi) on their own circumstances. If there's one takeaway from this episode, it's that Takumi managed to reconcile with Aoi, from her past to her current state, bringing a close to their rather unkempt relationship. It's sad that Aoi's love isn't realized, but I hope that there's someone for her. And for Ren to mistake Naosuke as the Tom cat from Tom and Jerry, he sure has his own moments. Too bad that she's now going to get confused by Naosuke a.k.a Octo being Shoin. Still no endgame to this story, at least it's unpredictable. |

| @MegamiRem It would be really funny and surreal if both shows were actually in the same universe lmao. Although I was really interested in why they seemed to deliberately want to sell this as a reference. Is the staff of both anime somehow connected? Also, Ren literally tried to reproach his father for his appearance? Dude, your dad was incredibly tolerant of you wanting to wear a dress, don't be so salty about the fact that he once wore a T-shirt to a school assembly. |
