Seiyuu fan. I listen seiyuu radio more than I watch anime recently.
Give me more chuunibyou characters please anime industry, am starving
I mainly use this site as a diary, writting notes on animes I watch, so I can come back in the future and check them for some good memories.

Genres:
I love comedy above everything, it's my way to escape reality, laughing all my troubles away. Slice of Life as well, wholesome/atmospheric animes that heals my soul are always appreciated.
But I also love some good drama or intricate mystery/suspense shows.
Action, Romance, Isekai/Fantasy anime are always the same boring formula everytime so I have no interest in them. Unless my favorite Voice Actors are in the main cast or it stands out a lot.

Well, for the Slavs, on the contrary, at first it seems very unusual that words in English do not decline and have no gender. I mean, a nice person will be nice regardless of gender. Whereas in Russian or Ukrainian you will change the last two letters of the word depending on gender. "Хороший" or male nice or "хорошая" or female nice.

Do you mean that calling a girl handsome will clearly indicate masculine beauty and vice versa? In Slavic languages, gender influences so much how you describe things, changing the endings of adjectives and verbs depending on what gender you are talking about. Therefore, most adjectives are commong, since you will still change them depending on the gender of the person anyway. Although it is always possible to call a people “person” or “human”, since despite the male gender of these words, technically you will still hide who you are talking about, a girl or a guy.

I know one idol group where almost all of their songs are written this way, and even if gender is actually mentioned or hinted at in the song, it is in a rather subtle way. And of course, Japanese adjectives and verbs are not gendered like in English? This has always been unusual for me, because in Slavic languages it is very difficult to talk about a person bypassing their gender.

Hello! I wanted to clarify something! Is it true that Japanese is so dependent on context that sometimes you can't even tell about person of what gender you're talking about? I've just heard several times that Japanese songs often deliberately use this so that they can be relatable for both girls and guys.

Well, if the game is quite complex and requires immersion, then I can spend 50-100 hours.
RobertBobert Jul 2, 12:39 PM
So, can you dive into this quite deeply and for a long time?
RobertBobert Jul 2, 10:52 AM
A couple of months ago I watched a couple of trailers for the game and it felt like a good, but not hyped, Sony Playstation game that you explore when you're tired of big blockbusters.

I'm mostly waiting for the Oshi no Ko sequel and the manga/LN adaptation like pseudo-harem I've been waiting for. Otherwise pretty weak and I expected to spend most of my time watching shows I missed earlier. For example, rewatch Jellyfish in one gulp to give a more thoughtful rating.

Sakuna-hime also attracted me, but I don't quite know what to expect since I haven't played such games for a long time.

Hello! Found any interesting shows for the summer?
RobertBobert Jun 29, 10:41 AM
I just expected them to use the characters moving forward with the project.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9pOqWHY9Ws Only me confuses that despite the anime, they are promoting JELEE itself solely as a virtual singer without much lore?
RobertBobert May 26, 6:07 AM
I wouldn’t have paid attention to this myself, but I saw the topic in recent messages and it looks like the show lost 10-20 hundredths in a couple of days.

Maybe I'm confusing something, but it seems like someone started downgrading Jellyfish score after the scene in episode 5 went nowhere. For now, at least. If so, is this a consequence of the hype of this scene on social networks?
RobertBobert May 21, 3:28 AM
So, Jellyfish has definitely gained some hype, but even in Japan it's still a far cry from undeniable blockbusters like Licorice or the Gundam titles? But one way or another it turns out that memes and flirtations with social networks are no less important than some intriguing plot moments. If you remember, other trendy hits of social networks like the already mentioned G-Witch, Oshi no Ko and even Frieren also liberally flirted with the meme-social network theme. Oshi no Ko even turned their most meme character into Vituber.
RobertBobert May 20, 5:51 PM
Do you think Jellyfish still isn't hype enough? It has been at the top of various anime trends for several weeks now. Of course, if you forget that they mainly represent Twitter and zoomer social networks than the anime fandom as a whole. But at least they've already surpassed G-Witch on MAL by 10k viewers over the same period. Another 10-20 thousand viewers, which seems realistic and more people will watch the show than them. Although Licorice is still far ahead.

Doesn't the final scene of episode 5 count? I heard they gained more than 15-20 thousand of new followers and trended on Twitter for the first time after this. For example, many people commenting under official posts, that they didn't even watch the anime, they just came because they saw the scene on social media.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
