| We even have the festival episode with yukatas, fun, and games. It seems this anime is really covering tropes from rom-coms in addition to the yakuza themes. Keiya and Isaku were obviously paired up together again and it was cute seeing them enjoy their time. Oh and Isaku did get to hang out with some others while being all dressed up. I think her confidence is growing more. |

Because the studio made multiple shows that looks ten times better than this. Or is the production of this anime event concluded ... .. . If you know what i mean. |

| It’s heartwarming to witness Isaku enjoying time with friends, experiencing the life of a typical teenager for the first time. As for Keiya, things did get a bit intense towards the end. He just needs to exercise patience and wait a few years, then there won’t be any legal concerns if he decides to pursue a relationship with Isaku, lol. |

This show has always seemed to be low budget on the art and animation, but now it is giving "My Sister My Writer" a run for it's money...and that show had floating disembodied lips in a few frames. |
| My fave episode of this by far. Isaku was so damn cute today omg. She looked amazing in her Yukata. The festival date with she and Keiya was so cute. Think this was the first time we heard him call her “Isaku chan” which was sweet. I still wish she would’ve had a chance to hangout with her friends there as opposed to just him.. she really does need some people her own age. That kiss on the forehead was so sweet 😩 need them to just kiss at this point At least Isaku did finally get to hang out with her girlfriends for a tapioca date. No idea how people like drinking that and boba lol. The taste is so bad and the balls have the oddest feel,(pause) but more power to ya 😂 Aw that ending! Keiya even jealous of a teddy bear 😂 he don’t want anyone or anyTHING touching his girl that’s so cute. Toxic, but cute. Bought the manga for this in Japan so I’m really excited to start reading it probably this weekend |

Jesus... It all starts simple.  How didn't they catch this? One of the scenes went from her wearing sunglasses, to sunglasses with a hat, to... sunglasses with a hat, as if she weren't wearing the sunglasses before. Yikes. (Too long for a GIF)  She be lookin into the 7th dimension. Not an animation error, but I'm sure she's supposed to look like a functioning human being, and not a human with a clump of weed for a brain.  Here they put Isaku in the wrong clothes in-between two shots, and decided "Well, I guess we can't color this to look the same." Like, this doesn't even look remotely like the same clothes. Also, the blanket magically moved itself all the way to the upper edge of the bed and below the pillow while Isaku switched out of her spooky ghost robe back into the pajamas she was supposed to be wearing. EDIT: Holy shit, there's no bed! The bed just vanishes when Isaku switches into the ghost robe! You can see the sheet, and the headboard, but the actual bed is just missing! When Keiya is hugging Isaku, his mouth keeps moving the entire scene, for about two seconds after he's done talking. (Doesn't translate well to a GIF) So eh, just an eh episode. Maybe it'll be painless, allowing the titanic to crash into the iceberg. Seriously, I don't dig this couple, but I actually feel bad for the mangaka for having to be associated with this trashfire adaptation. |

| I loved this episode, not because of the story but for the animation errors. That sunglasses scene was so unintentionally funny. Also that face the redhead girl was making was pure gold. |

| I agree, the animation was laughably bad in this episode. Which is a shame because I generally like the art style and the story. Project No 9 has 3 anime this season, maybe that was too much for them. |

| That was a cute (fake) date I totally could tell Isaku was going to kiss the plushie when she started looking around. Was kinda cute Keiya snuck a forehead kiss over the mask. Lol that animation error in the sunglasses scene was kinda funny. Not the worst animation error Ive seen in an anime but it wouldn't have been difficult to fix. I wonder where in the animation process those kind of errors happen. Keyia didnt go for the kiss when Isaku fell asleep again, seems he does leave some boundaries. |

| Their summer festival date was good, though Keiya had to fake it to avoid any misunderstanding with Isaku's friends ever since the day she shared the same class with them in primary school. And... This is my favorite scene. It isn't something extravagant but a nice little tease, proving how much Isaku loved him xD  That sunglasses scene was unironically hilarious to me because of various animation errors here and there. I couldn't expect more from Project No.9 studio. |

| First I want to say something nice... It was good to see how Isaku bonded with her school friends. It was actually the only scene I somehow enjoyed. Just when I was thinking this episode wasn't that creepy the last 6 minutes started. I'm a hopeless romantic and I love fairytales (including Sleeping Beauty) so I'm not very sensitive but somehow this anime manages to kill all my romantic senses and I have the urge to call the police. How long does he need to wair for what? For exatcly what? For his time in prison? Or for being an awful character? If you're having trouble with preferring fictional characters over real life men, I think this anime is perfect for you because it has the opposite effect. Aside from that I felt myself very bored in the beginning. I watch their interactions and it doesn't move me at all. In fact, while they were at the festival I kept thinking about writing my own characters more interesting or what I'd like to have for dinner tomorrow. Also the animation seemed to have reached its lowest point. I noticed it a couple of episodes ago but it's getting worse and worse. Sometimes the proportions and character design was completely off it felt like watching aliens. Sorry I don't have more positive things to say (I guess I love the fact there are three cats in this anime. My absolute favorite characters in here. Sleeping through it might be the only way to bear up with it). |

| Good to see she was having fun on both occasions, second of all Keiya's mouth wasn't moving while he was talking. The cats color was brown then white, and then her pjs where normal pjs. Then they were chinese top and pants, and then next scene they were back again. Whoever did the animating work on this episode did a bad job. Consistency was bad. |

| Oh man, early on I was thinking this episode looked better than the last one, but in the 2nd half of the episode there was some particular iffy stuff like Isaku changing outfits between scenes in the bed, and Keiya’s mouth continued to move after he stopped talking near the end, and then you have that one short haired friend of Isaku who never seems to look quite right lol. It’s a shame too because I really liked the content of this episode, the summer festival was a really nice bit, I especially liked the shooting booth scene, that dude definitely narrowly escaped with his life lol. And of course Isaku’s outing with her friends was a chill time, but then there was another bit here which I think they messed up where she already had the hat and glasses on but they told her to put the sunglasses on and the frame after looks exactly the same, some weird stuff lol. And then the last scene in the bed was a good one too, you definitely shouldn’t be sneaking a kiss in her sleep tho Keiya lol, I’m glad he stopped but he was very close to going for it. And at the end of the episode we see the ED as usual that looks 10x better than the show, always makes me feel bittersweet lol, I definitely think this show needed to bake in the oven for one more season. |

| @TheColonel76 Oh I think it was worse. The character models would change around a lot and sometimes look like they were drawn by a little kid. | @Kazu-sama The fact that the MAL background (The thing below the synopsis on the website) says "Ojou to Banken-kun was released on Blu-ray in three volumes from January 17, 2024, to March 20, 2024." makes me think they aren't even gonna fix the most basic animation errors in time for the physical release, because that just isn't much time to fix the countless animation errors. Simply put, Project No.9 doesn't care that this makes themselves look really bad. I don't like the dynamic at all, but fucking hell, Hatsuharu really got the short end of the stick with this adaptation. Her artstyle is undeniably gorgeous, but Project No.9 really half-assed everything here. |

| It's Summer break, and Isaku finally can enjoy with her friends, but not before Keiya coming back from the plans of a Summer festival, which he is involved in. Isaku in a yukata, it looks great on her, but seeing her grade school classmates again only brings back bad memories, and Keiya managed to just divert their attention away from Isaku so that they can get their time together. Doing a shooting game to get the black dog that resembles Keiya in a way, Isaku may have failed, but Keiya being the sharpshooter that he is, got it for her. Even with a mask, the pet dog kinda serves as Isaku's "practice" when Keiya saw it all. And with that, the practice "date" is over. After the Summer break, it's Isaku's outing with her friends, and she enjoyed it so much that she could not fall asleep. The black dog plushie does resemble Keiya, but he's too jealous much that he embraces Isaku until she falls asleep. He knows that she kissed the plushie, though he restraints himself with the real person right in front of her. When will they ever confess to each other? |

| Apart from the slight animation errors, I've figured out the main reason why I dislike this anime. Its not because of Isaku, its not because of her feelings for Keiya. Hell its all because of Keita because he is such a weirdly written character. Firstly its not even clear whether he sees her as a child or a romance partner, secondly just when things between are progressing nicely then outta nowhere the guy does some random creepy stuff like pin her down or hugs her when she even clearly says that its not comfortable lmao. Like seriously, there wouldn't be a problem if Isaku's inner monologue didnt say "uncomfortable" everytime Keiya hugs her or caresses her. But despite her thinking that he does what he wants anyway. This is certainly in my opinion a case of bad character writing, everything else about the show is fine except Keiya's responses. |

It makes me so sad *cries* I highly doubt this is going to get another season considering everyone is ripping this to shreds with the bad rating, like c'mon, its not that deep. But, Isaku's profile at 10:32 just...ugh idk what to even say, it doesn't even look like her. At some point the print on her Yukata goes away wtf is this? Then Keiya was talking, but his mouth wasn't moving. The forehead kiss was so cute omg :') Keiya's head was too small for his body at 13:59, what the heck bro. I can't 😭 she already had the sunglasses on, brooo. And the freaking clothes in bed, please. I did like the cuddling scene though, I guess that makes up for the shitty animation quality 😔 |

| I didn't see it until this episode, but yeah, the animation is really bad. The characters were different shapes and proportions in almost every frame. Also, there's just no excusing how perverted it is. I rarely do this, but I think I'm going to drop this show. I just can't take the disgusting creepiness anymore. |

| Summer holidays and Isaku is bored. Keiya invites her to a summer festival. When her old classmates notice her, Keiya tells them that he's her classmate and they're on a date. It's not entirely a lie though. They both have fun and Isaku finds a stuffed black dog toy that looks similar to Keiya, but he finds it ugly. She kissed the toy thinking it's Keiya, when no one was around, but Keiya saw it. Finally, Isaku had an outing with her friends. Damn, Keiya got jealous of the toy after she mentioned how they both look similar. He plunged straight at her and cuddled her. This is so wrong and misleading if he ain't making his feelings clear. |
