We got arguably the biggest match of Shun's career along with the rest of his team. They were aiming for a big finale and this is of course, what we get.

Shun fought like he's never before so imo, he and the team absolutely deserved their moment this episode.

It's Team Fox One's only chance to win against Sleeping Owl, but when Yu's manager Sakagami came to their place, said actress has to give her the slip, only for this time, so that they can do what they need to do: win the Xaxxerion championship.

The matches between the two teams, it's intense for any advantage, that at first, Mutsuki has Fox One completely routed. An interval break where Sleeping Fox dominates the first half, and as much as Shun remembers what both Mutsuki and Mio told him, Yu going public with her appearance certainly sent shockwaves for them to "mysteriously" work better, which riles Mutsuki up as they reach match point. With Shun and Mutsuki the only ones remaining, Shun won it all for Team Fox One, as Yu manages to keep her personality intact.

Finally, thank God that this shitshow is over.

From the TV broadcast station and its "Team Kitsune" creation team who funded this anime, thinking that they have an "original" eSports work on their hands, it's not, and its total garbage. GGWP, TV Asahi.

The story is still bit incomplete.

Rox(Naito) still thinks that Shun is in his world.Shun has to prove that Rox is wrong.Mio still can't properly walk.Yuu and Nozomi's feelings are still unannounced.

It deserves a second season.

And yeahhh they did it.

With these results everything is safe, right? and I think Mio is also happy. Shun returned home anyway. The ending we all wanted and quite interesting for an original anime. Not bad at all.

Fox One .. is going crazy.

not bad, as far as anime originals go. I wish they'd elaborated more on Mio's mental illness which was an interesting addition to the plot imo but oh well

I really enjoyed this anime as one of the above comments Said i wish they dived deeper into mios mental illness more then they did cause it was a really good plot that they could have gotten into. as a big gamer myself I really like an anime on the topic , yeah it could have been better but it was an anime original those are usually hit or miss but imo it was pretty good we got decent characters an opening and ending song that were both amazing especially the op and a pretty okayish storyline that could have used between 12-24 eps to complete honestly bit I rate it a low 8/10

edit also we never got Yu telling them she was Explosion-kun we never got who won Shuns heart Nozo-nee or Yu and at the end we saw Daneko with the blond haired girl and having pink hair which ABSOLUTELY LOVED but if it was down for a 2 cour or 2 split cour all of this could have been covered it would have been sm better

I liked this anime but a little disappointed in the fact we got neither a confession from nozo-nee or yu to shun or the reveal of yu being explosion kun

EP 12

So yeah its the last ep

Honestly well. i dunno
Like i'll be honest, the first 6 eps or so were ok, but maybe i shoulda known from ep 1 or so.
Then i dont even remember what happened, ep 7, ep 8, then 9 and 10 and 11 dorama and now we're here at the end.

Uh. i really dunno what to say i guess. I guess I already said all there was to say, that is, not much really.

I think the main issue is there's just very little reason to watch and/or recommend this.

Liked it. Almost an 8. Only 7 cause some stuff was only hinted at (Daneko with the colored hair and the blonde girl) and some not even resolved. (Rox could have needed more background and Yu did not reveal herself as Explosion-kun.)

The story with the sister was not too forced and not too much drama (except maybe a few scenes) - and the conclusion (it being mainly a mental thing) made sense. I wonder if Rox got motivated to study psychology ... cause of stuff in the past that also made him turn to focus on gaming non-stop.

  • Too redundant. The show should be shorter than 12 episodes.
  • What a convenient ending. They solved all the issues with guts.
  • If it had been a show dealing with basketball or something, there would have been not much difference.
  • I still don't get why subtitles have names of logic gates and related terms.

Phew, the anime is safe, I thought it's gonna drop to 5,9 score now it's 6,2.

This anime isn't extraordinary by any means, the gameplay scenes are still the worst, the gameplay video that was on Shangri-La's video game store's TV screen is better than this.

But what saved the anime the most are the characters, Yu and Nozomi are no doubt top tier female characters for me, the drama is good too, nothing feels too forced in my opinion. While Mio's attitude is questionable but without a doubt I can see it happening IRL, being disabled due to accident can put a strain on your mental health, it needs time to overcome the trauma, that's why I think disabled people are the strongest minded-people ever when they finally managed to overcome their trauma or fear.

But yeah, solid 7.5 for me, I wished the gameplay was better though.

as random as much stuff was ... as much as the animation was somewhat not the best ... as much as i hated the sister and the manager in half the scenes they appeared... as much as the gameplay was trash
i still managed to enjoy this anime quite a bit, the team was fun to watch, their progress and friendship was nice, and this ending was pretty nice too

i can't really rate it anything over a 6, for the reasons i meantioned earlier, but yeah, i would probably watch a season 2

the fight between Shun and Rox was amazing when the game turn to animation and Shun cut down Rox, and that Mio start to walk and said to shun "you better win"./The ending was satisfying and was good. Now this anime is finished right?(and why did Rox said "Welcome to my world" but Shun didn't abandoned his sister, Overall good anime.

i liked this anime for mostly the story of the lives outside of the game itself, but god dam the gameplay and tactics were just not there. Like what was that last scene of just a standing shootoff and they miss every single shot? lol

That final was hilariously bad. Imagine a regional LAN final where two players stand in the open without moving, stare at each other for a bit and proceed to dump their entire mags on each other without even hitting one another lmao. You could draw no other conclusion than both are pulling an IBuyPower and throwing for skins.

Not that bad... I enjoyed it, the friendship and the characters.

Except for Mio... I have never disliked a character so much. Her mental illness was an interesting thing since it was more serious than (a humorous) bro complex, but it also made her so annoying.

The story felt a bit incomplete, but yeah I wouldn't mind a second season ^^

If the series is intended to be the first part and they give it a second season I would give it an 8/10 ▪️▪️▪️

The truth is that the plot did not bother me and I did not expect it to be totally focused on e-sports knowing that from the beginning it was dealt with the issue of the accident.

Why the heck did the final Shun vs Mutsuki showdown suddenly had 2D animation instead of 3D LMFAO

Unsatisfying finale, I dont buy these makeshift Fox One team beating a proper coordinated Sleeping Owl even if they aren't playing seriously. Anyways what happened to the money that was supposed to send Mio to that rehab center?

That final match played out more like a confrontation between a battle shonen protagonist and a main antagonist than a high stakes FPS tournament match. What was the strategy with the mutual slow walking towards each other and missing every shot, despite both Rox and Shun being stationary? If their reticules were properly targetted at their player models, then I don't understand how every single shot missed. Automatic rifles tend to be balanced with lesser accuracy than semi-automatic precision weapons at mid or long range, but not to the extent where they quite literally can't hit a stationary target at mid range. Bizarre.

Finally, they secured a spot for pro league. Yu revealed her identity as Phantom Ninja during the match. Because of this, Yu’s manager’s company wants to manage Team Fox One itself.

Yu didn’t reveal herself to be Bakuretsu-kun, which is a disappointment.
