| Rampo is the man! Seriously, this guy has so much guts that he's not afraid of anyone, including the police force. Oouchi gave a hell of a speech for that organization idea of his. That charisma in on another level. Seems this is a buildup episode for all relevant parties involved for the main story. It's getting complex though with all the recent developments. |

| Fukuchi's speech was on another level, and with that, he's surely going to rally the troops, and in the end, he's both the hero and the villain at the same time, something he's done a lot, as his namesake of 100 faces indicates. Really solid ending sequence there, always those masterful cliffhangers, Akutagawa returns! |
| I love how this can seamlessly switch between keeping me on the edge of my seat and being very funny. That Ultra Deduction scene was so cool And the mastermind is revealed... This is so damn good AKUTAGAWA YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Though I still wonder why he didn't show up at all last season. I think I'm just not remembering something.) |

| Looks like the cats out the bag and the true Kamui has revealed himself. And it's none other than the esteemed leader of the Hunting Dogs, Fukuchi Ouchi. Atsushi is definitely going to have a tough time with him. Fortunately, it looks like he has a guardian angel, or in this case, devil. Akutagawa finally makes his grand return after a season of absence and he'll be teaming up with his old rival to save the day once again. Next week's showdown will be interesting. |
| Things were progressing way too smooth for them, so knew something was up. Kinda surprised it's Fukuchi though. Also I freaking knew that Akutagawa would be the one to show up in Atsushi's need. So hyped to see them fight together. |

| the beginning of the episode was really sweet. atsushi jumping into kunikida's arms because he missed him and the other members so much had me tearing up. when ranpo realized fukuchi is kamui i started to get really nervous and scared, but all those nerves calmed when akutagawa showed up at the end. ive missed aku and im so glad he's there to save atsushi. really looking forward to next week's episode now. |

| Ranpo's revelation from this ep really did an excellent job in giving the police's colective arses a good kick and make them look at their duties much more seriously. If something looks far to perfect then there's bound to be a trick to it. I found it amusing that the UN of all people would have needed a global anti terrorist agency. Ochi gave one hell of an impressive speech though. Still that ended up one hell of a reversal for Ranpo when Ochi revealed his true colours. Time for the port mafia to make their grand entrance and turn the tide once more it seems. |

| Knew a nuke was about to drop when they started not to show Fukuchi's full face in the background and then Ranpo's ultra deduction was the final nail in the coffin.. but this is still some huge twist. DID NOT THINK AT ALL that it'd be Fukuchi. Then the criminal cliffhanger happened.. with a brief appearance of fucking Akutagawa of all people.. what?? That dude literally made his first appearance after that THIRD season.. AFTER YEARS, damn. They used to be the nemesis, but now the duo of Atsushi and Akutagawa will battle it out together. Next week just can't come sooner. |

| Might be the best season start since season 2, first episode was a great setup but this episode got me hyped like never before, if next episode isn't a complete banger i would be totally surprised |

| Ranpo's Ultra Deduction scene did a good job of keeping me on the edge of my seat as the big reveal drew closer and closer. The buildup to the reveal made it pretty clear that Fukuchi would be Kamui, but that didn't take away from the suspense of that moment. Atsushi will have his hands full fighting against Fukuchi, but thankfully Akutagawa of all people is there on the ship in disguise, so he'll be a huge help. Next episode should be awesome. |

| Holy shit best BSD episode in a minute. Fukuchi being Kamui was genuinely shocking to me. I’ll have to go back and watch to see if there were any hints but I thought he was just a good guy with a good sense of humour. He and Ranpo play off each other so well that it didn’t seem real until he slashed at him with the sword. Damn. Akutagawa back next week too, this season already better than the last one lol |

| Stronger than the first ep, and one of the better ones in the entire series so far. Love to see how the reveal was done along with the end part of Atsushi's monologue. Although, I never really was a big fan of Akutagawa, I definitely missed him last season. Seamless ED transition as always plus a lot of Igarashi traits like dutch angle, stark lighting through windows and the comedic faces. It's not as good as S4 ep1, but I'll take this 100%. |

| Ranpo isn't afraid for anything, man really takes the spotlight. Atsushi is in overjoy to see his friends being alive. Oouchi had too many drinks it seems like lol. That was one interesting speech from Oouchi. Ranpo really isn't afraid, man literally meets with Oouchi and trusts him because he is Yukichi's friend. Oouchi & Ranpo escape or something towards an boat where Atsushi is waiting them. On the boat Atsushi asks Ranpo to do some digging on Kamui but it turns out Kaumi was Oouchi all along so Ranpo does the smart thing to hide in a book or use some power while leaving Atsushi alone with Oouchi, but fret not because Ryuunosuke got finally shown, he is back! |

| Probably minor opinion, but I felt underwhelmed by the reveal. I expected it to be more drawn out when Rampo realized who the mastermind was, and I didn't really understand why he was the mastermind. I'm expecting it to be revealed next episode of course, but the importance of the who the mastermind is can't be understated, and thus the reveal shouldn't have been swept u[p towards the final three minutes of the episodes and us left with, "why?". I don't understand how Rampo really deducted it to be him either, maybe it's because we know so little (anime-only viewer) about Fuki, which is why I felt confused, but typically I had expected it to be someone that we knew, as a viewer watching from the outside, rather than a character whose backstory I know so little about. I dunno, I'm hoping all of it is resolved nexty episode. But the fact they had the ED playing the entire reveal shows how important this moment was and it kind of just hit me as, huh?, rather than, oh wow!. |
