| Mangaka Yu Tomofuji's completed manga furry series helmed by director Kon Chiaki, along with J.C.Staff's production, it looks decent. OST is fine, though GARNiDELiA's return is apt. The latest 99th sacrificial human who serves as food for the beasts, the humble girl Sariphi is unlike the rest that came before her, even if being threatened by the King of Beasts under the watchful eye of the "Mr. Dog" pharaoh hound Chancellor Anubis and the demon blobs Cy and Clops, seemingly being spared from being eaten. Despite being "free", Sariphi has definitely seen scarier, for her name literally is a portmanteau of "sacrifice" in ancient language, ready for her parents to sacrifice her when the time is right. Sariphi may have less to live, but the King of Beasts allowing her to roam free while letting her do her own things such as taking flowers, it's for her own good. Though the happy-go-lucky girl is afraid of lightning, she easily finds comfort within the King's warm tail. Time for the ritual night of sacrifice, but Sariphi did not expect an internal scuffle of a beast intending to kill the King, which he was born half-beast, half-human, and from his own perspective, not a strong person of leadership. But Sariphi injects hope into him that he would grow to be an outstanding king one day, that would at the end of the day, still consume her. With that, the King broke her chains, and while he made her his queen, Sariphi gave him a name: Leonhart, the brave-hearted King. Decent start, though amidst the fantasy romance tag, this is no Ancient Magus Bride. |

| I can already see the think pieces from anitwt people about this being grooming or the age gap etc etc lol. I loved the first episode, another great shoujo getting a solid adaptation is always a welcome thing. hanakana as sacraphi is awesome as usual, world seems interesting and I’m curious to find out more about the king and his background. Garnidelia ED is so good, haven’t heard from her in years |

| Ive been waiting for this since i heard about the anime adaptation, the manga was so good. Sariphi is so adorable, from sacrifice to Queen candidate.... I love the cannonballs, Cy and Clops, they are so much fun. Human form, Leonhart..... Im looking forward to Lanteveldt's arrival |
| Imo the first episode was way stronger, Sari's zero-fs given attitude was great while Chise was...well, not saying she's a bad character but she didn't make me instantly interested in her story like Sari managed to in a few minutes. Way too early to make an actual comparison between them of course, but if we're talking instant hooks Niehime's definitely ahead for me right now. |

| Visually it's reminding me a lot of Nokemono-tachi no Yoru from last season. Beast girl pairing is pretty popular tho. Nice start and great that this is double cour. |

| As expected, this was adorable to watch. This was one of the series I was most looking forward to this season as it reminded me of The Magus Bride which has a similar cute relationship. I dont even know the series' name I just call it the "Beauty and the beast anime" lol. Didnt expect Hanazawa Kawa as the voice for her. Plus Ainz as the beast XD. Its a shame this series started much later than the rest but cant wait for more episodes. Just realised we're getting 24 episodes too which is great. Probably means theres gonna be a decently big plot. |

| Stayed for Ains voice actor at first, but it's actually pretty cute even though predictable. |
| Not really a fan so far. Her lackadaisical attitude feels so forced that watching her is cringe. If that wasn't enough, his reactions to her are even more forced. The pacing is insanely wack too, 24eps and somehow she's queen already???? Is this gonna be a rushed adaption or is that really how quickly that happens in the manga? Feels like we're missing at least an episode of development here. |

| i've heard good things about the manga so im checking it out. the pace doesnt bother too much bc i assume the story is gonna be more focused on the politics and drama in the beast kingdom then about how she came to be the queen also does anyone know how old Sari is supposed to be? i havent heard anything about it being an age gap so im hoping shes just a young looking adult |

| I like the premise, but the first episode went way too fast. For being 24 episodes long, I wonder why they felt to make the relationship hurry when a slow burn would have been more satisfying. I’m very curious if the series will get into its own flow or if it will always feel like it doesn’t have enough time to tell the story it wants to tell. |

| As someone who went into this totally blind, I am just SO glad this didn't turn into a furry-cest thing (or whatever the correct technical term is) Completely surprised about the twist but very glad it was there. Ainz voicing Leonhart was also a nice surprise lol. |

| The anime looks so far very good. The opening kind of hints it won't cover the whole manga or even half of it, which I hope won't be the case as there will be 24 episodes. So, the changes are, there will be a possible second opening and the anime will cover the whole manga if it'll be tightly paced. I really liked Sari's sassiness and I think all the voice actors/actresses' voices sound very good! Though I must admit I was a bit surprised Cy could only basically repeat Clops' last word. Kind of gave me Maru and Moro feeling from xxxHolic. I always thought Cy talked telepathically...? So, even though Cy didn't have a mouth, they still could talk. Oh well. Very good start for the anime~. |
