| As a wise person once said, "The wheels of causality are now truly beginning to turn". Guts vs. Griffith duel looked fantastic, as always. I think its visuals got improved a little. It's a shame we didn't get the part with queen and nobles added to this show, even if in rushed format. It was in the source material and appeared in the anime from 1997, but was omitted in the movie trilogy. And, as we could see, in Memorial Edition as well. Sex scene lasted for almost 5 minutes, so basically the same amount of time as in the movie. Too long, if you ask me. Especially if we are talking about a standard length episode (lasting for circa 20 minutes), not a way longer (lasting for over 1h 30 minutes) movie. Oh well. New ending has appeared as well. I liked it. |

| By the way, his defeat in the duel may be related to the fact that he has recently neglected fencing training a bit, and focused more on politics and matters of his promotion. Meanwhile, Guts and hand-to-hand combat and self-improvement are basically what he spent most of his time on. Just free though though. |

Later Griffith will say, it's all Guts fault, although it wasn't really. A wise choice of Guts to leave though, it was time to move on. Will we also learn how Casca lost her mind? |

FINALLY PUCK ANIMATED IN AN ADAPTATION THAT IS NOT BERSERK 2016/2017.This makes me so happy,I hope we get another season and they better fix some things and improve the animation if we get another one.The sex scene was good,but they cesnored too much,like Griffith's face was censored at one point which looked wierd.I also love the new ending theme,but kinda wierd of them to just switch it up on the 8th out of 12 episodes,but I guess it is symbolic of Guts leaving the Band of the Hawk.Defintely a surprise seeing Puck cross paths woth Guts.  |

There were no new scenes this time iirc, but the polished animation looked much better for sure. I also loved the new ED, it reminded me a lot of the 97 artwork. |
