| Really good animation onthe new opening sequence. Not a bad half recap episode, I was starting to forget some of the details. The damage was devastating and it seems like there will be no time to rest. Onwards |

| I normally am not a hater on MHA, but the recap part being half the episode long literally killed my hype and love for this episode. Don't get me wrong i still think there were some really great moments in this episode filled with realness and a sense of despair, like the statue of all might with a sign saying 'I AM NOT HERE' and the part where Uravity heard a hero giving up after seeing the destruction of the villains. Also although it was a hard hitting moment seeing the students crying over midnights unresponsive body, i think it would have been better if we could have seen her as well instead of a re-used picture of season 2. Just so we, as the viewer, also get hit with that sense of despair like the students got from seeing midnight. I do hope the next arc is gonna show us a bit more of that despair we got to see in the second part of this episode, because i think every action heavy shounen needs a bit of realistic and depressing moments to really make it stand out. |

| I can understand wanting a bridge episode to go from what just occurred from diving into whatever happens next but should have been more picking up the pieces and examining the revelations that were dropped on this society but instead there were only brief glimpses of this and too much time spent recapping what we just watched ourselves. The characters and the audience catching their breath should still give new information, recap is just so lazy. |

| well, that was my favorite anime this season.... not anymore i hate recaps, even more when they are a 'episode' and not a standalone recap instead and even more when the recap is mixed with story progress so i dont even know where to skip fking hell dude, this ruined my day, i was excited too |

| A big flashback about all the last arc, but a great episode. Some important villains and high end noumus were arrested (and i still wonder where they can put around 16.000 villains lol, there must be a city that's just a big prison). Midnight's death was way more emotional on the anime, I almost cried watching. Although the saddest death was still Twice. I miss you, man. Now let me talk about the OP and ED, I didn't pay attention to the music but holy shit, I never seen Boku no Hero OP and ED with such nice visuals. I loved both. |

| Sweet baby anime gods you prayed to I was thinking this was recap eps after two weeks and then they hit hard on the second part of eps. Its my birthday so my later shows as I watch might become less coherent, but I teared up with this eps. Very impactful on ones psyche. |

| As expected, the aftermath is just tragic. Uraraka's look in despair at the end there, despite all that good energy beforehand to save people and whatnot, once reality hit her was very powerful, good lord. Quite frankly, I thought the recap was unnecessary at the time of its airing, but it tied up with the nature of the episode pretty well. The heroes will have to bounce back hard from this and by the looks of the next episode, it will only get worse from here on. Op is pretty good, especially liked the Nakamura-san's animation-style shots and choreographies from there. As for the ED, I miss the old one, hopefully this one will grow on me over time. |

| This was a great episode. The recap was a bit annoying, as it wasn't apart of the full episode, and they add some great moments. |

| Damn... It seems like the new opening and ending received all the god tier animations that were severely lacking in the climax just a few episodes ago. I'm starting to doubt Bones' priorities at this point... No movie in sight and the big moments mostly still lacked in finesse and quality. Very unfortunate. It's probably been clear for manga readers that the manga is the far superior alternative but at this point I'm inclined to agree. |

| I was very excited for this next episode but half of it being a recap? Really? I swear MHA has waaaaaaay too many recaps. I get one at the start of a season for those that maybe forgot some of the earlier seasons but we just had the war arc so I doubt people are forgetting it that quickly. Can't wait for dark deku. Probably won't be for another few episodes. I hope it last at least an episode or two cause I've heard from manga readers that its not that long. But I love the idea of Deku becoming more serious and that form in the OP looks sick. The new OP was pretty good overall. It looks like the things Stain talked about all the way back in season 2 are beginning to bear fruit. All the fake heroes are either joining the enemy or quiting when the going gets tough. |

| Would've been a good episode if not for that recap that took half of it. R.I.P. Midnight-sensei. I refuse to believe this as well. And lol... the opening that brought chaos in twitter. Very understandable. Bones is doing a bad, bad job this season. I'm still upset about the unstable animation. But the supposed to be symbolic "holding hands" in the opening is the worst of them all. |

| What a waste of an episode. Like two thirds of the episode was recap. The kids finally see Midnight's corpse. Off screen and with no dignity just like how she was killed off. Only part I liked was the Ochaco moments. I swear if Deku doesn't lose this stupid notion that "Shigaraki needs to be rescued" by the end of the show he will be headlining the D list Shonen Jump MC tier. Also please, let that look on Spinner's face be his "oh shit. I'm on the wrong team" moment |
