| After that "emotional" episode 7, episode 8 had that comedic feel here and there to somehow lighten up the mood with Kon and Squad Zero. Sad to know that some content were cut and so the episode felt rushed. |

| Calm between the storms episode, I see that Mayuri skipped Komamura and Ikkaku bankai explanation which he did in the manga. the comedy scenes made me chuckle especially whenever Kirinji is involved...  ...reminds me of earlier episodes of Bleach 1st season :) |

I even remmember back when this happened half the responses were being fairly positive he isnt dead just cause thats what bleach always did. |

| A bit rushed but not a bad ep overall, I wish they have kept the Buff Kon and Rukia peach butt joke though. At least Byakuya getting yeeted into the pool was still funny. |
| Soi Fonis uptight and angry as ever, I still hate this character as much as when she was first introduced. People angry at Byakuya not dying for real, but why is that even an issue? In the same episode that Grimmjow of all people comes back. That and some members of Xcution to top it off(Ganju, lol). To be fair, Byakuya dying in that miserable manner would have done more damage to his character, it's enough that Yamamoto had to go out without even threatening the enemy general AND losing his Bankai in the process. If there's anything weird, it's that Ichigo lost his Bankai again, right after just regaining it at the end of last arc. |

| Wow, another great ep. The mourning of the head captain was sad and the frustration is fully understood. Many old characters are reappearing, like Kūkaku and her brother. And makes me wonder if Isshin is her real biological uncle. That makes Ichigo and Kukaku family. WOW! Also, seeing Ginjo is a shock. Makes sense since he probably went to soul society after death. Had to think for a minute to get that. LOL. The first sneak peeks at the soul king and the royal palace. Nice! |
