| I know some people who would go "WAAAA WAAA OMG AN OLD LOOKING GUY HAVE ROMANCE WITH YOUNG LOOKING GIRL WAA WAA" and honestly it baffles me. When I was in high school I used to have a female friend. She's fucking small, like everyone in my class were about 170 - 180 and then she's just there about 150 cm or less (don't really remember her exact height but she was god damn small). She would be discriminated because of her height and most of my classmates would treat her like how they treat a kid without knowing how she actually felt. Despite being mistreated she endured it for about 4 years straight (left during year 12) and honestly it's just sad. It's easy for society to label you as something based on appearance alone and not what they actually are, which is sad. Well, I don't really care how you interpret this anime but I just wanted to point out that the romance isnt all that bad. That is all. It's not like you're a straight up pedophile just because you enjoyed watching a romance comedy between a tall looking guy and a short looking girl who's about the same age. What matters most is how you look at it I guess. Well yeah just wanted to say this. Kind of a purposeless post I guess but oh well. |

| I think it was an early misconception. But anyone who did not quite catch that the two are close to the same age as seen in the 12 episodes when school does appear is going to need to talk to me. Also gonna throw it out there, how does this connection work? Aharen-san literally has it so that (close to) *everyone* in the show is weird in some way. From the main duo doing wild stunts to everyone literally not even acknowledging their existence. |

| The absolute worst part of anime discourse now is people complaining about a non existent subgroup of people making an irrational complaint like this. No one is saying this and if anyone is its gonna be like 1 or 2 vocal people that do not matter that youll find on a social media site with no interactions. Like the episode where the romance is most prominent is like the only one with overwhelming amounts of 5/5's and replies. |
