The more the merrier they say, so yeah Aisha too is now officially Souma's wife. Quite unfortunate for Juna though, but ig it won't take that long for her too joining Liscia and Aisha there.

Somehow, Souma entering polygamy just doesn't sit right with me. I mean sure, Liscia is accomodating and all, but isn't it Souma's duty to reciprocate her consideration? Unless of course, his wives were taking up multiple husbands too. Souma could have easily rejected the proposal - a king, acting or not, can do that if he truly cared about/loved his wife. Just an opinion; could be right; could be wrong.
bruh the reason why soma will take multiple wives because he needs to retain the peace with multiple countries and kingdoms in the future to create a long line of trades in the future because with soma taking multiple wives it means the country will make a friendly relations with The Kingdom soma currently rule so it does make sense why polygamy back in the 17th century are common

I totally agree. I feel like this arrangement goes against his personality. He's changing so many thing, so he could certainly change that "tradition" if he wanted.

I really enjoy this anime and was really hoping it wouldn't turn into a full fledged harem, but after this episode it seems like they're setting the stage for ever more and more wives to be added.

I understand that their custom is for polygamy, but given the fact that Liscia's mother is a sole wife, I feel like that would be the ideal she was looking toward rather than what others further removed from her are doing and certainly if she hadn't pushed Souma into it, I don't think he would have been inclined to take multiple wives, so it all seems a bit too easy.

I was going to read the ln, but knowing now this is the direction they're going in, I'll pass.

For me this would be perfect without the polygamy. I'll see how long I can stomach it. I hope the harem stuff doesn't get too out of hand because I really, really like everything else about Realtist Hero and don't want to end up having to drop it.

polygamy is accepted there, and both souma and liscia agree, light novel has same story, if souma not take many wives, others be disappointed

rip Georg, the talk was quite tense, oof the 3 degrees execution, surprised Souma only had power to reduce to 2 degrees. a stubborn but strategic & loyal leader sucks to lose useful personnel.
Excel's talk rather confusing.
Royal family motives, hidden aristocrats, Roroa, lots of threads starting up.

RIP Carmine. He was stubborn till the end. It's a shame that he will be known as a traitor.

Happy for Aisha in being the second wife. Though Liscia making it clear that she's the first queen was amusing. Juna being told to wait was sad and the reason was messed up.

They really took 9-10minutes to tell us Carmine planned to accept the corrupt nobles and lose the war to Souma and Liscia - implicating his execution. As for the marriage proposal scene, pretty cringy but expected of the typical isekai protagonist. Would either prefer Junar or Aisha to go with MC but since the show permits, all of them will eventually end up together.

Its sad that Carmine had to end like this. I think he doesn't deserve it. The tension between Souma and him conversing was hard for me to watch...

Aisha's father proposing to Souma to marry his daughter was kinda surprise and got accepted quickly. But Juna has to wait. Its fine. Its not like he's gonna reject her. Damn, even in that fantasy world, an Idol's life is difficult just like in real life. Though I know this is a harem show even before the anime began.

Curious, if Souma will discover or already know that there's dark shadow in his kingdom.

This is my most favorite episode of the whole series. At this moment, I really do not know why people rate this series 1 star because of 'harem' or 'cringe guy who just reads machiavelli'. Just for the prison scene, we have so many good things in here.

- It starts with the lion guy shows respect for the king, which shows that he himself knows that the MC knows about his plan already (contrary to his attitude when he first contacted the king). The MC also returns by asking about his living condition, which means, he really cares about the lion.

- Then when the lion talks like it is nothing. We also knew earlier that the MC is a realist, but becomes irrational when if it is about his family, so he replies with the queen's situation, which really shocks me. As earlier, we saw that he keeps talking about 'using the talents', and he knew the lion is very talented, but he brings the family subject out first, showing that he is emotional, not realism when it comes to the family he cares about (queen's sadness).

- The lion replies by reminding the duty of the king, and MC lost the argument because he himself knows how stubborn he is.

- Then, the lion changes the subject into the situation of people who has to follow his orders, showing his cares for the subordinate. The MC gives him the solution, which is also the solution I arrive when thinking about this matter. After hearing the solution, the lions replies with his judgement, affirming the MC's talent when dealing with the situation.

- MC brings up family topic again, only to be shot down by another strict viewpoint. This is when the MC starts losing his mind because his viewpoint is not really great (he puts lots of innocent people in the execution)... to be judged again.

- Then, the MC gets more emotional (we can see that he uses body language this time) and more because of the responsibility. This feels really real to me because we know that he is just a normal person who lives in peace got isekaied and had to become a king, and with him being judged a lot recently, he is losing his composure.

- The lion uses family as a tool to attach the MC with responsibility, which calms him down. Now he is back to 'realism' and talks about the current situation: the lion's life. He really values his talent, but the lion puts him in a state that he has to make an execution. The lion replies with another correct solution and accepts his demise. With this, the MC's calmness, which he tries to wear, breaks and he shoves the chair, enrages with his emotion. Now, we can see truly the dark side of MC. If he is so emotional to a talented and just have some relations with his family like that, what if his own family is the one getting executed? Will he become more emotional? Even to the point of craziness?

- In the end, nothing changes, the only thing MC does is grief. So, he gives the lion (and his subordinate) 'sepukku'. Yes, this scene is actually 'sepukku' in that world building, and it feels great. With the MC affirms his resolution, the lion says his last words as a wish for a new future, he dies. The plot wraps up by showing the queen trying to hide his emotion of a dear friend by burring herself into the work. This is 'realism', and the MC cannot save everyone.

Also, one thing to note that the show clearly gives out a good reason for the 'harem': to ensure that there will be heirs. I am from Asia so I will accept this, to be honest, this is a real thing in medieval. Haizz, we even have a genre called 'Royal Palace Drama' which involves the king's harem (wife and concubines) trying to kill each other...

Now, I am really looking forward to the dragon's family execution. I hope it will be as good as this ep.

Kins getting punished for the actions of their relatives is cruel. Yes, sometimes the illegal activity runs in the family but it doesn't mean innocent lives won't be lost. Only the guilty deserve a punishment.

That ending tho. Souma getting proposed twice back to back. I know this sort of practice was common amongst kings and leaders of the past in the real world but it still feels weird.

Souma is quite the popular one with everyone offering their daughter to marry him, poor Juna though being the only one rejected despite having the biggest assets (her looks and voice)

Welp, Kazuya definitely has a harem if that wasn't obvious already. He's officially got two wives, and a third on the way.

Actually I don’t mind the long, drawn out talks. It’s not like the fights in this show are even close to decent.

It seems Liscia interacted with Georg a lot.. Through letters.. And seems that not only..
Roroa seems to be in pleasure thinking of her future husband?.. Seems that she'd enjoy some time with him, hm.. ;P
Also the harem officially comes true.. ;P

Could the previous king really had something to do with what the lion guy did? Also, people scheming in the shadows, are they nobles too? Man if so that would mean lion guy failed to round up all the corrupt nobles then
