That language written by this regular troll is a gibberish in Burmese, apparently.

Relatable Intro. +1

Saw you on the male/female fantasy thread. Didn't know about BookTok, but we're all looking for the 🌶, I suppose. Goodreads is a mess of hyper-romanticization, in my eyes, to say the least. No doubt the 🌶 fits in there somewhere.

Anyhow, appreciate your replies. Keep on keepin' on, fellow user. o7

Well, I mean more general plot inconsistency rather than specific things. Like, in the beginning the girl puts he pantsu into robot's engine/cooling system and it crashes, so they repair it for weeks. Later on it just teleports back from the bottom of the lake fully repaired. Or like that maid furnishing the room of her princess with some luxury shit day after she struggled to buy a burger. Or like hot springs/bath in what was supposed to be a harsh prison for misfits. Or like painful break through defense when you can really teleport you kickass robot to any time/space point lol. I just stopped caring when the maid arrived, that's what I mean.

When it comes to Tusk's survival... well, it's the easiest part: he's trained well, so he jumped out from the explosion, maybe covered behind some solid wall etc. Fairly easy to explain compared to, say, why people full of mana don't actively use mana to fly around and do some crazy shit lol. Or why dragons ever come to that word in small weak groups only to die miserably etc.

I just let it flow and enjoyed my journey.

Haha, the same way as she was able to summon her broken sunk robot fully repaired, or the bad guy was able to resurrect dead people. Divine intervention, or maybe miracles of love. =)
I stopped caring about any realism when the maid had come to the "prison". It didn't make it any worse though.

Manga has small panels, but it also has large panels. Not at the level of size that feels like a manhwa or like a fairy tale picture book.

Also, you mention the limitations of the physical medium, but I don't feel it's as limiting as you make it out to be since more and more of them are web serials.

Also, I laughed at your misunderstanding, but people who read comics don't like two-page spreads. I am curious why you thought that. Some people who read manga on e-books find two-page spreads difficult to read.

It seems like I'm repeating myself, but talking about manga to people who don't read much manga is tedious, so I don't need any more replies from you. With people who are not friends, I am not good at talking to them. For that matter, enjoy your favorite manhwa. Thank you for your comments so far.

Personally, I feel that Manhwa is like reading a picture story or picture book that a kindergartener would read, because the panels are too big, although some people praise the great color pages. My mother, whose eyesight is deteriorating, says it's easy to read.

Well, color manga exists, or rather, I just read it yesterday and today, so if you feel up to it, you can all give it a try.

English is not my working language, so I don't know if I'm understanding the part you said correctly, so I'll just reply to your "Is manhwa better than manga?" with a comment on your profile. And the thread's purpose river.

It could be a comment that is far from the purpose of the thread.
I thought I commented on that basis. Anime does not have to be based on something Japanese to be produced. Also, besides manga, light novels, general novels, children's books (including foreign ones), and games are also used as subject matter. In addition, several anime based on Korean light novels are already in the works. It is not that manhwa is not read in Japan, but if you want to read it on an app, you can.

Even the most popular manhwa works are not even being made into anime at this stage. We don't even know which ones are popular. Now that Korean light novel novels have already been made into anime, if any manhwa works are deemed popular and sell well, there will be talk of making them into anime. I do think that in the future, there will probably be an anime version of manhwa. I don't see the need to go to the trouble of animating works that are colored and have large panels, though.

You called it "isekai" trash, but there are people who have seen anime in that genre and got hooked on it. I consider the "isekai" genre a passing fad. Once it has been done to a certain extent or something else becomes popular, I think the number of works being created will decrease. Quality is important, but it is also important for publishers to be popular and increase sales.

Well, personally, I think that whether manga or manhwa is better, manhwa is worse in quality and cheaper. I think it's inevitable that people have different opinions.

Thanks for reading this far. No need to reply, so enjoy the anime and manhwa for what it is.
