| Extreme baseball... It seems there's quite a bit of pride on the line between certain players/characters. However, the way this show was introduced was a bit awkward. Didn't even give us much explanation and went straight into it. They really took the idea of baseball to another level. And also, Haru really needs to improve his confidence. A bunch of other characters from the roster also makes appearances. The first episode felt messy and kinda hard to get invested into overall, hopefully improves. |

| Kazutaka Kodaka of Danganronpa and Akudama Drive is back, and better than ever. This is yet another mixed-media project sports anime, focusing on baseball. But it's not just any type of baseball, it is XB: Extreme Baseball. People forming their own tribes in a dystopian Neo Tokyo to fight over their territory in games of XB, the game courts and play elevated to 11. I'd guess we're focusing on this group of people in the Minato Tribe under the white-haired Shun Kamiya's leadership as they fight other tribes for supremacy. Gears and bats attached with the experience. The character designs are unmistakably Danganronpa-like, yet the show's feels reminds me so much of Akudama Drive with its setting. Combine the two, and you have a mobage promo in the making that's outlandish and enjoyable to watch. A great start, colour me surprised, and Kazutaka Kodaka can NEVER go wrong with his works. Definitely one of the best mobage adaptations of the season, and Liden Films is winging this extraordinarily well. |

| This show seems to be baseball on heroin basically. I don't know how to feel about it but it is definitely an eccentric, wackier take on the baseball genre for sure and it has that novelty aspect to keep it somewhat fresh for the first episode at least. |

| a futuristic world where tribes fight each other until a certain law had to be made bc of that yada yada and this story is gonna be focused on playing baseball? love that actually ended up enjoying this wayy more than i thought i would tho. maybe its because i eventually recognized a certain popular artstyle so i paid attention more but this was cool |

| Wasn't a fan of Daganronpa and this is almost as edgy, yet kinda dope. Might be a keeper. Although, I rather would've liked to see extreme basketball or football. |

| This is the kind of stupid fun anime i’ve been waiting for my whole life. Great start, the art and soundtrack was really nice. The character designs are meh, a little too over-the-top in my opinion. Definitely excited to see more of this throughout the season though |

| A kind of sport anime with the same art style as Akudama Drive? This is a must watch. Everyone's forming their own tribes and stuff. The setting is quite cool and unique so this will be pretty enjoyable. Character designs are great. |

| Reminds me a little of the Futsai anime that is also airing this season. In terms of using supernatural looking cool moves to do their movements. Felt a bit weird, and hard to get into at parts, but I'll stick with it for now, to see how it progresses. |

| Not a bad start for a show that is over the top in action and the OST really got me going. Tribal warfare in dysfunctional Neo Tokyo is settled in Extreme Baseball that uses the entire city as a baseball field and players can use all sorts of gadgets to score runs. The characters are kind of one dimensional, but so were the characters in Akudama Drive which managed to find a way to be entertaining. |

| It was boring as hell, and that comes from hardcore "Dang it granpa" fan. Generic "bad guys" are generic, action is lame and I don't see a general conflict in here. Are they going to play baceball for all 12 episodes? Meh... maybe will watch one more episode, but probably just finish Akudama Drive instead. I don't say it's bad. But I wasn't hooked at all. |
| I mainly picked this up because I already knew about the game and the concept sounded cool, and cool it was. While this first episode felt kinda fast paced, I still found myself really enjoying it, had some good visuals too. I also picked this to simp for Saori lol, hopefully she gets some good scenes eventually. And also that OST was going off lol, I can’t wait to hear the OP and ED. |
| This was so dumb and over the top, to the point where I actually started to enjoy it a little bit. I love baseball, but I don't have a clue as to how Extreme Baseball work (like, why did the opponent score 2 runs in the top of the 1st?) The animation was cool and love Ishida's voice so I'll be watching this for now. |

| The creativity of this kept me interested the whole episode, but I hope they give us reasons to care about the characters soon. Currently, I don't care much about them. In the end, Haru went to fight with the bullies. I don't condone violence, but . . . well, this is fiction, and it's nice to see a small boy beat some bullies. lol Ishida Akira's voice didn't quite fit Shun. I think he should start voicing slightly older characters. It would be nice to see one of my favourite actors trying new things. |

| So far the series looks fun....I like Saori and Kamiya and Boring guy and Tuna guy are okay as well and I am sure I will like them more as I continue to watch the series. |

| Im not sure what to think of it lmao... Production was pretty lame (as expected from LIDENFILMS) but at least the concept of Extreme Baseball was stupid and entertaining enough to at least give it a 3 episode test lol. |

| This is awesome. I always have so much fun with any project Kodaka and Komatsuzaki take on together. The setting is as psychedelic as ever, I just love the colour scheme and character designs as well as the underlying noir tones. Even if the writing isn't great I know I'll enjoy this ~ Also Saori's thighs >.< |

| Well that was shit. Way too many characters frontloaded in, and all of them annoying as shit (except, at a push, Saori), utterly no story to go forward with, and it's wildly inconsistent what the hell is even supposed to be going on, why or how. And on top of all that, it's not even particularly attractive on the visual side. I'm debating giving this another chance or just saving myself the time and pulling out now. Edit: Oh fuck this noise, I can't be arsed, it's off the table. |

| I wasn't planning to watch this, then I read some comments around here saying that it's fun and it has an EDM OST and... that's exactly what I found. I like it, one of the best first episodes of this season. Browsing on MAL is not entirely a waste of time. |
