| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, the fight is on again this episode. Feels like a contest of tactical warfare with every team trying to get ahead. Yuma, Hyuse, and Masato made the episode somewhat exciting. There's also some info dump about trigger sets that looked like a video game interface. |

| It was a brilliant idea to use the fuse box to affect their manually needed day vision vs night vision functions. Turning off the lights can be annoying by itself, but turning the lights back on when you have night vision is way worse. The strategies in this show are always a treat to see. Hyuse is so overpowered, haha. Yeah, just set up a bunch of gigantic shields from floor to ceiling, that's totally fair. While Tamakoma might not have gotten the big point that they were aiming for, at least the most annoying opponent on the field is gone. The odds are still in their favor. And we still haven't gotten to see what Chika could have up her sleeve yet. Another great episode. |

| Loved how Yuuma and Hyuse teamed up to get rid of the Suzunari-1 fellow at the fuse box. It was an easy point and an important one. Reaching the upper floors was not really an issue, given Hyuse's barricade trigger and Yuuma's Grasshopper. Looking forward to the issues Azuma will bring to this battle. The man's too good lol! Ema's prompt decision-making has been very impressive too. Chika should be kept reserved as a trump card IMO. Maybe Hyuse's Viper will be effective against Azuma too. Anyways, Suzunari-1's ploy did pay off I suppose. The Black Kogetsu was a major hint though. I'm sure Mikumo would've figured out what they were up to had he seen Ko using the blade.  |

| Most of the episode focused on other characters rather than Kuma & gang. Kinda disappointing, but it looks like we’ll get that next episode. |

| That was such a blast to watch! Watching all these battle strategies in WT always amaze me. And wow, Kuga/Hyuse combo is lit! I want more!!!!! Can't wait for the next episode. |

| The fusebox's strat was really interesting, but still Takamoka-2's Hyuse and Kuga did great, too bad the point went to Suzunari, I need more explanations |

| This episode went by in the blink of an eye. In particular the part where Kuga and Hyuse jumped into the action. Kageura bailing out to prevent Tamakoma who need the points the most from scoring was a pretty nice move as well. |

| its basically gonna catch up to the manga at around chapter 200ish, there is about a dozen chapters after that which pretty much amounts to a years worth of chapters out of the show given the pace of releases and tendency to sometimes skip a month or only do 1 chapter instead of 2 a month. So its gonna be a long time before a season 4 if ever |

The adaptation of this season started in chapter 160 of the manga, the anime is currently on chapter 171. Most manga readers expect this season to end around chapter 195 of the manga, which is the ending of the B-rank wars arc, so about 35 chapters adapted (this is the reason why the pacing feels slow, each episode adapts 2-3 chapters of the manga instead of the usual 4-5 from most animes). Thanks! Guess we'll be waiting quite a while for season 4... |

| And we finally get to see Kuga+Hyuse in action! Man, seeing Hyuse be in the rank wars with Tamakoma-2 has always been something I wanted to see animated in World Trigger ever since it happened in the manga. It took years, but it was definitely worth the wait. ;w; Before season 2 was confirmed for early 2021 I thought World Trigger would never get a continuation in anime form and I'm so glad that it wasn't the case. It'll be a long while for season 4 considering the manga's updates will be slow, but it'll be worth the wait if season 4 is ever confirmed in the future. I can't wait to see everything else in the rank wars animated! It'll be such a treat when we get to see dragynfaerie said: Not sure what you mean. Do you mean the one who was throwing a ball item up and down and saw Kuga and Hyuse launch up to get to the top floor? If so, that's Azuma and he's not part of Suzunari. | Really good fight episode. The part that hyped me the most was when Hyuse and Kuga was moving in sync, got chills just from watching them. Glad to finally see them in action. The rest of the episode was well thought, wonder how the rest of the match will play out.  |

| Damn, Suzunari got the point, but nice play by Hyuse and Kuga, that was amazing. Ko with night vision looks so badass, I love him. Also I like Kageura a lot now too. |

| Yo, what is his Trion levels!? I thought escudo was supposed to take a lot of Trion but he's doing all that and sending a powerful barrage... Maybe he farmed resources and is a Fortnite player. Dang, Mikumo-Squad get fucked. Point when to Ko since he did the lethal damage that finished Kage. I'm sure if Hyuse or Kuga did final blow, they would have gotten. Snooze you lose. 5/5, I think the lights plan could have gone a lot better. Going for the guy with a side-effect letting him react without vision when there is another target next to him seemed kinda dumb. Right now looking bad for Team#2, but the power of love could prevail!!! Mikumo-squad is holding on strong, but they did receive a bit of damage. Asuma just vibing as always, wonder what the ball is. |
