| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hikasa-san's character calmly thought about why main guy said so in last ep. It was because she was being emotional and thinking "only she as Sirius can ease those three" Graduation time. It seems like he was doing some report. Hikasa-san's character is being student (free from mission)? The girl has finished studying abroad, and at the same time Hikasa-san's character to return to US. Hayami-san's character approving her as her rival. (Second part is anime original https://twitter.com/mahouka_anime/status/1337321227657097217) New girl prepared to face a team w. guns in snowy place. Then she was chosen by the Shiba lady. New school year and main guy is part of the "w. power" team now. That elegant girl has a brother, it seems, and the siblings are entering their school. The girl who faced the team is now maid and working for Shiba lady. Her first mission is related to the party main group are also going? | Welp, it looks like the school is going to celebrate their graduation since the end of the recent parasite problem. Life seems pretty normal yet again. There's even some added comedy of imaging Lina in an idol outfit lul. Now only two episodes left. That Tokyo Offshore Tower really is a spectacle of technology. |

Very cute angelina  Incest between Miyuki and Tatsuya as usual, they could make a good couple after all. They have complicated relationships in this family... Reminds me when my ex wife was listening to aya nakamura so loud I hit her, she sued me and I waited 2 months under house arrest bruh, glad I was still able to work from there. | Glad to see Shizuku coming back to Japan and bye bye Lina. Tatsuya's uniform has changed. This is a newly made uniform of the magic engineering department. The emblem is different from that of the first class students. |

On one hand we had lots of cute Lina, Miyuki and Tatsuya moments, on the other hand we’re saying goodbye(for now) to the third years. It’s been a long and fun journey with them. :/ We got a setup for the next phase of the story with Minami’s introduction and I’m looking forward to seeing how 8bit close everything out. Right now this is a free 10/10 and my AOTS. Hoping S3 announcement isn’t far off. |

| Good to see Shizuku back in Japan. Too bad we have to say goodbye to Lina for now. I wanted to see Lina's singing. :( Tatsuya moved to the new Magic Engineering Course alongside Mizuki. Finally, Sakurai Minami is here. One of the two characters I was looking forward to the most. She showed no mercy when she was being attacked. One of the guys got hit with broken glass in his eye. Ouch. |

| Pretty solid episode, it sure has quiet down a lot after some of the action packed episodes. Shizuku is finally back from America and I love how they said she's more "mature" looking, Erika really said that in a very suggestive way and who knows, what happened in America stays in America? With Shizuku returning, it was obvious Lina was about to leave. That girl really went on a culture hunt while she was over in japan, not to mention the trouble she caused. Hope to see her soon, I like her a lot! Love to see Tatsuya having this symbol on his uniform now, eventho it's different from the First Class Students. Sakura Minami gets introduced, I wonder what is up with this girl and I am sure that the final 2 episodes of this season will be all about that. |

| First half was great, glad they added the Lina monologue that was suppose to be in ep 10 at the beginning here, because its a very important revelation for her and signifies the start of her growth. Middle portion was definitely a set up for double seven, while the end portion is really the new content with the set up for the Tokyo Tower mission(when i mean new, it wasn't in the books). Also damn shame they didn't have Lina sing at least part of a song, wasted a great opportunity for Yoko Hikasa to flex her singing talent. |

| Ok, I'm in the minority here, but this season is in my opinion badly adapted. From missing interactions with Erika's older brothers to some scenes that might deepen our knowledge of the magical world that Mahouka ... is set into. And now this episode that already butchers the introduction and prologue chapter of Volume 12. So tell me Overall I'm disappointed with Mahouka S2 . |

| After suffering so many defeats over the course of her mission Lina's confidence has to had been shattered. Tatsuya's words though were a nice olive branch on his part. And its finally time for the third years to graduate huh. They really ended up helping Tatsuya and friends substantially since their first meeting. Lina sure ended up getting roped into helping out. I would have loved to see Lina's solo performance on stage though. Its nice to see Shizuku again. Looks like she's grown a lot in her brief time in the states. Despite her mission its nice to see Lina actually enjoyed her time in Japan. It was nice seeing Lina part with Tatsuya and Miyuki not as enemies but friends though. Nice that we also get the chance to meet Minami as well. But that was one hell of an exercise she went through though. In the new year looks like Tatsuya finally gets to show his mettle to the school via his transfer to the new Magic engineering course. Overall a pretty calm ep that did well to end the visitor arc on a high note while also ushering in the start of a new school year for Tatsuya and friends. Looks like they'll be using the last episodes to over the Double Seven arc. |

After the opening...the graduation music was...interesting...very interesting... New character, Sakurai Minami. Her abilities are cool. Wonder what this new character will do and accomplish in two episodes. OK episode :) |

| I don't believed its really over. Lina decided to went back first after having a nice last party at the school. Such a shame the party was just an off screen time scene, i am really curious about Lina life performance xd. And well, i must be bid farewell too for the third class character that finally went off the screen without any high school uniform after those graduation part. I hope Saegusa kept adorable at her college character design xd. Shizuku finally back home after having a good time in america continent. I am really curious about her story there. But alas, its got cutted off, or i shall be patience to hearing it at their next party, i know nothing. Well, that Lina farewell scene was actually quite touching. Miyuki small talk about her rivality was actually funny touch too. Well, i am honestly really want Lina to make sure to be a part of the gangs. But, it seemed the moment of her that actually joining the gangs will be clear off at the movie thing (looks like that, so i really need to catch up it after this one is over), so indeed its make me relieved a bit. Well, the second year finally started. Not so surprised if Godsuya had a ranked up there to the first course, while at other side, i felt bad to Erika and Leonhard that not joined them into the first course. Could anyone give me a little explanations of why thats happening? Well, the problem at their magical life was not over, yet, continuing the story that Shizuku mentioned. A new characters has been revealed, but its not so new, they were already in the opening, tho. Lol. So, i am really curious to see the rest of the episode that looks alike the introduction or the bridge to the next arc. Lets see.... |

| After some action-packed episodes, this is a cooldown or let's just say a setup for the final episodes. Lina is now leaving the US in exchange of Shizuku coming back to Japan. Miyuki now recognizes her as her rival when it comes to Tatsuya (cause ofc they will). There's the two siblings from the Shiba family (that look like the child characters from Akudama Drive) that comes into Tokyo to enroll into the Fourth High, the same school as Ichijo (remember him?). It's also the beginning of a new school year, sad to see that Saegusa and Juumonji are now graduating as well. I thought this is pretty much a season finale but NOPE we got a new setup for the final mini-arc. Enter Minami Sakurai, a magic user hired by Maya to become her maid. But at the same time, a magic user that will stop an upcoming attack from a radical group. I wonder how this will connect to Tatsuya and the climax of the season, oh well. |

| Loved the second part when the new semester started. Lots of changes in the sections and a new course emerged due to Godsuya during the 9 schools competition. Mikihiko moved to course 1 and Mizuki is the same class as Tatsuya. I have been anticipating Minami's appearance since the start so I'm kind of surprised this is how they are going to introduce her (great VA choice). Also nice to see some Kuroba siblings screen time. The next 2 episodes seem to be anime original so I'm interesting how that will turn out. |

| If I had to complain about one thing this episode, they cut the scene between Tatsuya and Kobayakawa, the girl who suffered the accident due to no head dragon during season 1. It was quite a heartwarming scene. |

| So... Again, there are some details that aren't shown in the anime and that can be pretty confusing, but they explain it clearly in the Light novels. I got a bit too into it and ended up writing too much, but if you want to know some extra details with no real spoiler, here you go: |
| Really liked the attention to detail they put regarding the continuity with the Mahouka movie! So Lina leaves for America on March 26, 2096 which aligns perfectly to when the movie starts and she is assigned a mission as soon as she arrives, on March 27, 2096. They even added the details of keeping her attire and her baggage full of souvenirs/festival tags consistent with how it was in the movie. I liked that added touch. Moreover, they added the end-credits scene in the movie with Tatsuya and Miyuki walking together on April 6, 2096, where Tatsuya’s new Magic Engineering Course badge is shown, and they even expanded the scene with more exposition. I really liked the attention to detail they put in this episode, to make sure it aligned and was consistent with the movie! Looking forward to this new mini arc — new character introduced in Minami Sakurai! |
| This was a nice relaxing episode, after all the action Tatsuya and company had recently. I'm happy that Shizuku has returned to Japan, but that also meant that Lina had to say farewell, although I did enjoy how embarrassed Lina got when Tatsuya was told about what she did during the after-party. Not only was Lina's blushing expressions cute, but her idol clothing she wore during the party itself was hot. The exposed midriff/navel outfit suits her perfectly! ^_^ I also liked the touches that this episode had as it chronologically matched where the movie started and also finished. Good job from the production team on that one. =) Either way, I do enjoy how this small mini-arc will play out, especially with the new character introduced, Minami Sakura. |
