| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not too sure about this series... Definitely has the potential to succeed as a dark and serious anime though. The story was very unique, and seemingly strong... The action scene was done alright, and seems like this series will have nice action later on. I didn't really like many character designs though, with the exception of the 2-3 seemingly main characters. Preview for the next episode looked to have some nice action in it. Op was meh. Ed was alright. I'll probably keep watching this... Oh and CR translations seemed quite good for this series. |

| Op was seriosly bad. Animation (3D) - horrible, (2D)- mostly low budget. Story yet to be fully unfold. Giving 2nd ep a go but it's a near drop for me. |

| I might stick this series out just because it has Okiayu Ryotaro voicing Cigal. Anyways, it seems somewhat interesting, although I'll probably like Toshokan Sensou better. |

| I expected more from this anime, but I guess it's too early to judge. I give it 7, and definitely will continue watching it. I wish OP and ED were more lively and energetic. Voice cast is good. |

| Horrible OP, very alternate and boring intro. ED kinda meh WTF kinda first episode. Also looks like their trying to save the series by setting up a big boobed female as the director. Animation often looks very low budget. The character animation reminds me of Witch Hunter Robin. One issue bugs me MAJORLY - the fact that their hair does not move when they walk. However it looks like the series has a darkish twist so I'll hang in there for more episodes before deciding if I want to watch it. |

| Maybe I was expecting too much from this series that's why I wasn't satisfied... :'< I enjoyed it although that 2nd half made me a bit uninterested...partly maybe because I'm tired already. And I can hardly concentrate writing this and I can barely open my eyes..lawl in other words, I'm sleep-typing xD But I'll wait for the next episodes since I can feel this series has potential. Hopefully David Productions would do well not to ruin the series. :'} They did a good job with Ristorante Paradiso and DOGS: Bullets and Carnage..so yea. A great cast. I can sense another Alto in Volken. Idk if I would like him or dislike him for that... o_o I love Hamyuts's design...she looks badass. I like. :'] The OP is another ALI PROJECT song-clone. Lawl The ED is...they had Annabel sing the ED...but her song for Canaan was better. :'/ Since David Productions is a new, I think, production company...I guess you can't really expect much from their animation. Exactly, after watching the first two horrible series of the season, I can safely say that Tatakau Shisho is the first good anime of this fall. Very nice direction and animation, coupled with a nice art (close to Le Chevalier d'Eon) and Mari Okada's dark and surprisingly mature script make up for some great first episode to me. Some characters are even sufficiently charismatic for me to want to know more about them. It was actually a very good surprise to me, I liked it. |

| Atleast it beats Asura Cryin for damn sure. We just need to keep watching until the plot and characters start coming together. It looks like something that could end up being really good if we give it a fair chance. And lol @ more Ali Project. They're everywhere, but they're good. Even if all their songs sound the same. That's just what makes them easy to recognize. |

| A great storyline might be able to overcome bad art. The only problem is if they start jumping to the many POV's that were likely to see. "Corio as an antagonist?" |
| So I'm liking the jazz riffs in the OP and thinking "Well this sounds pretty nice. Very interesting...." Then the music started getting faster and then I was like "No....No! NO! ALI PROJECT!" That song could have been a lot better both musically and visually. |

| I liked the episode, the plot loks like it will be very good, the 3D sucked, but I didn't care that much. The only thing that kinda bugged me, was the character designs, they didn't look very badass or attractive, but we'll see if they grow on me. |

| Not very impressed with this epi, but then it is only the first one, wait for the next epi and judge that one. Animation terrible in some parts, characters not very appealing, and the episode was very jumbled up personally. Oh and OP and ED were Dreadful. /Won't drop the series seeing as I don't drop shows but like I said, not too impressed. |

| so the episode is out and subbed now and i just watched it now and i thought it was an okay episode. the story is actually kind of interesting but i just didn't feel anything when i watched it, maybe thats because it was only the first episode and it will get better later on. ill rate this episode a 3/5, hope that it will get better because the first episode didn't really catch my attention too much xD |

( kinda like his abilities and weapons though...) So, 1st ep did its job of introduction wonderfully and should deserve a 10/10, if not for those 2 things mentioned above, which made me take out 1 HP; hence, a 9/10 from my part |

| Felt like D.Gray man which is a plus. The story seems like it's going to be interesting but at the same time I could see this turning to shit real fast if executed wrong. I'll save my judgment till I see more episodes. |

| WTF? That CG was so terrible, I felt like I was watching Dinosaur King on Saturday morning!! I will have to say the story was decent, seems like it could be interesting. But, the animation is a joke, did they pass around a hat and take collection for this anime. I may give it another ep, but consider it dropped!! Urahara Out!! |

| OP sucks. It sounds like a copy of another song probably by ALI PROJECT. The animation was good imo. But I don't get the story or something .w.' Well. I will watch some more. The niku boy looks like Miharu from Nabari no Ou. |
