| I am really enjoying the father/daughter story here. The art is gorgeous. I can't wait to see how this story progresses. We'll all be crying by the end of this story if you haven't already. |
Always thought Somali was a boy and not a girl!! And the Golem is dying!! That was Unexpected!! And I think Nanami, Hiroki the voice actress for Shizuno! Did a exceptional job!! And was well suited for the character!!! Overall a really good episode |

| A solid episode here. We've now got the emotional stakes set up for the rest of the series, as well as apparently giving us an overall structure of meeting new characters every week: hopefully most of them can be as fun as Shizuno and Yabashiro were. |

| So there it is, there is a deadline to happiness, the show is so colorful and magical but it always keeps that little bit of darkness, you know something really bad will happen at any given point. |
| It's so cute seeing the two enjoy breakfast with the creatures of the forest. Hmm quite the curious healer that they managed to stumble across huh. Still Shizuno's skills truly are impressive. He and his assistant sure make a great team. Given their long journey it's wise for Golem to want to learn how to create medicine when in the field. Its nice to see Somali also develop a sense of responsibility as well after seeing Golem's desire to learn new skills. The decaying status of Golems body though was quite the shock. A time limit of one year plus left thats not a lot of time. An excellent ep that while as calm and cheerful as always also did well to introduce two new characters into the fray whose personalities and knowledge added to the plot significantly. The ep also featured a nice balance of both positive and negative tones to it in the form of the desire to improve by Somali and Golem and the latters revelation about his life. |

| Felt pessimistic on the first episode, quickly grew on me by the second episode. It was whole some and introduced our guy Golem more. Unfortunately sad part is he won't be living long enough. I'm felt pandered by that and worried about Somali after his death when Golem won't able to find her parents. |

| This is one of "those" series, huh? Every season should have one of "these". The writing could use some serious work, but it wasn't offensive or anything. |
| and here I just wrote certain possible ends in ep 1's thread... turns out it might be where the golems dies in the end and the girl ends up either alone, eaten or goes into hiding like other humans if there are any left. ___ ___ ___ Somali is cute tho, her personality is likeable and cute. Too bad she still have to hid, cause if found, no matter how cute you are, you'll still end up as pet, food or slave. IE: like real world's piggies, baby cows, chickens, etc etc. They're so cute, but they're still food to majority of the world. Or how some people regard Cats, Dogs, other animals as part of their Family, they're still pet to majority of the world. |

| It's a really simple premise which feels like it should be generic and common but actually isn't. There should be a GLT recommendation on the page before the MiA and Mahoyome ones. |

| Definitely thought Shizuno's seiyuu was a male but apparently not. Pretty impressive. I also thought Shizuno had some bad intentions the entire first half of the episode. Glad I was wrong. Somali is a precious child. Golem is precious too. |
| I'm so afraid someone is going to head pat Somali and realize those are fake horns. Hopefully the golem can fight to protect her if that happens. |

| I dont know if I can handle the cuteness and feels flag.... Inori really does make Somali seem like baby Hestia especially when she hahaha'd about catching critters. LOL Also that assistant is A+ |
| Okay, affected by "pervy cat" in the previous 1st episode & suspicious of the 2 Oni until the end (coz I trust no one, duh) I was repeating "Don't sniff her. Don't pet her. Don't gain the knowledge of her being a human." the whole episode. Turned out those 2 were pretty cool. Pheww. Looking forward to more encounters with other creatures! Good ones - yesss. Bad ones - yikes. But... Golem is so running out of time (>.<) |

| That Oni medic reminded me of Asagiri Gen from Dr. Stone. :) Too bad Golem has not a lot of time of life left. He seems to start feeling emotions thanks to Somali. |

| So Golem is going to die, and he knows exactly when. I know it's a common and maybe cliched setup, but I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes upon hearing that. Somali seems so happy with him, and in exactly 1 year and 112 days he won't be here anymore. He's slowly collapsing, literally. I have a feeling this is going to get increasingly sad and I'm gonna need a lot of tissues on hand. It seems Shizuno maybe knows that Somali is a human child. |

| The golem is falling appart slowly and i can't help but dread the moment when somali is going to be left alone. So as suspected The golem can talk to animals. I liked the onis, especially Yabashira. This is so far good, the golem is a cool father and somali is a cutie. I really hope this isn't going to make me cry. |
