| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this anime is back and same with Alice, Kirito, and even Eldrie Woolsburg. Looks like we got a 6 month time skip since they beat the Administrator and the story builds from there. Alice has that eyepatch now since the previous events. Kirito seems to be traveling with her from this episode since the battle. I guess this episode serves more of as a buildup. Kirito is lucky he has someone like Alice by his side now tbh. The OP song looks fine, pretty similar to the previous season. |

| OP is cool. Time skip and basically main guy's becoming haijin after the effect of what happened at the end of last season. There's also sister. Too haijin that he needs Alice to take care of him in living. Even if he's haijin, though, he doesn't forget his swords. It seems like Alice saw that scene, and Suwabe-san's character is alive. Actually, the whole group is alive and they heard what happened, and needs to hide that Admin. lady is no longer alive. At first, he was left there, but it was decided by Alice that he needs to get out or he will get sentenced. Even her father not letting them stay in the village, so they had to stay in faraway place near the village. At least she gets to help out with cutting the tree. w. main guy's sword. The men wanting to steal Eugeo sword... and looking at them in disgusted eyes. One of the members of the group came to tell her about the goblins and needs her power. She said her rejection is not related to main guy, but her power is weakened. ED is calm, and Alice sleeping in one bed with him, because there's only one bed... Dark Territory put on fire on the village?! |

| The animation and art in the OP were great! ep starts with Alice taking care of Kirito and ends with the village burning, so will this season be about mainly Alice? will Kirito remain like a zombie for half a season? |

| That was a really nice episode, the new op and ed songs are wonderful as always, alice was great, i'm very excited to see she steal the show on this new season. |

| So after the battle against Admin Alice and Kirito have retreated back to the village then. While a hard choice for Alice its nice that it allowed her to meet Selka. Love the OP and its visuals. Haruka's vocals are as strong as ever. The talk by the knight commander to the senior knights though was interesting though it must have been a tough one to accept. Although living outside of the village was unfortunate it's nice that Alice is able to get some amusement by proving to them that her skills can be useful. Still seeing the hatred and fear of the villagers must have been frustrating given all the trials that Alice, Kirito and Eugeo have been through. While a tense meeting the talk with Eldrie sure proved interesting and it looks like war with the forces of darkness is imminent. A strong ep and an excellent return to the series that showed just how much both Alice and the world has changed since admin's fall as well as the gradual transition from hard earned peace to all out war with the raid being the first step of that war. |

| For the animation, I give A-1 a 10/10. For the story, I just hope it won't turn bad like the second half of last season. SAO always failed to deliver in the end. |

| Nice restart. So because they cut the power, Kirito can't function properly anymore. Glad to see Alice taking care of him though. Production seems just as good as the first part of this, in fact it might even be better. The Art in particular is very pretty. OP shows a lot of Alice, is this season gonna have a lot of her? If so, I'd be very happy. Throw in some Asuna as well and we make it even better. xD Loved it when Alice showed those annoying village dudes who's boss. Dark Territory attack. :o I want to see what's going on in the real world as well. |

| Every man needs an Alice in his life. This episode was so wholesome. Hit me right in the feels too. Honestly, SAO hasn't ever hooked me in like this episode, not even in the very first arc of season 1. Those villagers make me sick. |

| I wonder if SAO is going to continue its trend of having a great start followed by fucking everything at the climax. Anyways, while things again look like they could go well, SAO is still using bits of cheap rage bait, and that's irritating. Hopefully that won't be the case. |

| Nice continuing episode taking back from previous season... As anime watcher only, from the OP I think that this cour, Alice is the main chara (hope I not wrong guessing), which is very rare from previous arc which always Kirito or Asuna taking the lead... But like seriously I hype to know, if this episode 6 months after the final fight event, what will happen to the real world especially on the ship, Asuna and the rest as the timeline will move further away than this episode in Underworld...maybe 2-3 episode we know... As song, taking the formula of season 2 MR arc back then, surely Tomatsu Haruka + LiSA + SAO = Epic song, again... |
| Wow. That’s all I have to say. This episode is calm for some reason for most of it, and the ending just shocked me. It managed to go from serene and yet to riveting due to the sudden introduction of an enemy. Ok the dark territory existed from earlier but nobody expected them to show up now Also Alice and Kirito sharing the same bed. Kirito x Alice is going strong I see. Rip Eugeo, he would have loved to be in the same bed as Alice. This season looks promising |

| It's back again! And imo, this was an awesome first episode. It's really weird to see Kirito look like a mere pebble.. And it seems Alice is his babysitter for now, i liked the fact that she protected him several times and that she's grateful to him for having saved her life. Too bad that they had to go away from the village Alice grew up in. And damn, that cliffhanger said that shit will be starting real soon. PS: Alice sleeping with Kirito lmao. If Asuna saw that she would flip the switch, i think xD but i've seen in some videos that Alice x Kirito is really nothing serious so yeah, nothing to be afraid of. |

| Very good start, the animation is trully beautiful. Alice is definitely the best girl in SAO after Asuna, her sleeping with Kirito was cute. Please no rape/sex scenes in this anime and it will be great. I'm really looking forward for the next episode. |

| Extremely boring first episode. But then again the first season of Alicization also started boring until it turned into an okayish fantasy anime. I hope Kirito is back to normal next episode - with the village burning at the end. Slower pacing would be too painful. This needs some action. |

| I enjoyed the episode! A good first ep. that serves to recap past events and show us the current situation in which the characters live, the moments of Alice taking care of Kirito pull to a more emotional side and I just loved it! I am very eager to see what this new part of history will provide for us. |

| Only 35 comments on here? Wonder how many BHA got. Fuck yes, after 6 months of waiting, the definitive anime of our generation, SAO is finally back. It’s been a looooooong wait. Only 29 comments tho, I’m surprised. Been waiting to see volume 15 adapted for years for best waifu Alice as MC, not disappointed at all. Great adaptation, a lot of quotes and lines were legit straight out the LN. Volume 15 is one of the few LN’s I’ve read to make me genuinely happy and smile throughout seeing how much Alice loves kirito and cared for him. They even did the bed “what should I do” scene that made me tear up reading! Can’t wait to see more stuff animated |

| Animation was just perfect, everything was feeling lively and realistic.OP looked really good as well(coming from someone who usually skips OP) and LiSa doesn't need a comment she's perfect as aways.I liked the first part of Alicization and this one is supposed to be more action packed so I'm hyped and of course we will get best waifu Asuna entering Underworld in few eps so I just can't wait. |

| Totally didn't expect this. I thought we would get to see what happens in the real world after that huge cliffhanger back then Seems.. interesting enough I guess? Alice simply is such a good character. The village people are kind of despicable but guess that's almost every person that doesn't really know about Alice's and Kirito's situation. That guy Alice's chops trees for was basically an Ugly Bastard Introduction and I don't like it |

| Great to be back! Alice is is the best girl in this show and it's not even fair or close. Such a sad episode, the villagers and the knight are so stupid. Dunno if this is a flaw or what but how can people be like that towards somebody whos in a mini coma. |
