| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, this episode felt dull. There wasn't much action and instead went into more info dumping again. The fan service(?) in this show also feels really random imo.. It would actually be funny if Eru put on those lipstick. Not sure how I feel about him becoming a commander. He seems too young. |

| Looks like an interesting match is coming up. Tho it seems the lab has taken al of Ernesti's ideas. Well Ernisti came up with some new ideas tho and it looks like he improved many of his previous ideas not to mention the centaur design which should be way more stable than a human like design with it's four legs. Also Addy's behaviour during this episode was nice the bath scene proves her view an Ernesti, which is rather strange. Tho judging from that it seems to be love tho she doesn't realise it herself. She was also jealous. |
| A Centaur Silhouette Knight? Ernesti is pretty much testing all his ideas now. The king was impressed though. His eyes were shining. Looking forward to the match up between Ernesti's order and the lap. The carriage the centaur knight is carrying would make deployment much easier. It's a good idea. |

I think that one is the prototype of the prototype to ikaruga. The prototype of Ikaryga is called Toybox and is build later on when Eru graduates. *rant* They rush through the original story at an ungodly speed and yet they manage to sneak in fan service in form of a bathing scene? Sigh. /rant The Kaldator equipped with magic jet thrusters actually took to the skies, but run out of mana really quickly. Eru kinda gave up on trying to control the jet thrusters when he got saved by machine running out of juice. He and the knight crashed in spectacular fashion. I guess they did not feel like spending animation budget on a mech tumbling and falling apart, sigh. |

| This episode is just ok. Next episode will be the match. I wonder when those jet-like engine will use. For me I probably use it on making tiltjet transport vehicle to carry Silhouette Knight or materials, although this concept had appeared in light novel and probably appear in anime. |
| Addy's obsession over Ernesti is annoying. He almost got killed when he was testing a Silhouette Knight. The new one he came up with looks like a centaur. It was dragging a carriage behind it with other Silhouette Knights inside it. The king is very impressed by it. Looking forward to see the mock battle. |

For starters, ether reactors are very expensive and a single ether reactor can barely power a few seconds of flight. It will be impractical and extremely expensive to use magijet engines as means of transportation. |

| Good episode...but with a lot of info dumping yet again. Too much down time in between the action episodes and it makes it hard to stay invested in the story. BUT: I am super excited to see the new units in battle next episode and by the looks of things the king is too! |

| Centaur mechs are always nice. And I like this trend of having girls pilot mechs like sportsbikes. Not the first time a dual pilot system stuck a guy in upright position behind the girl either. |

If you want to maintain an air of professionalism, whatever. But he just seems completely disinterested. Like his libido either doesn't exist at all, or he is just gay and not interested in women. At age of 12 they graduate to middle school, at age of 15, they graduate from middle school. Under aged means she is around 13-14 years old at the moment. I believe the author did not feel comfortable including sex in the story at this stage. *fixed* On a side note, there are a few situations in the novels where Eru feels conflicted about how Ady treats him. But he concludes that he does not have a heart to tell her to stop. |

Then his editor calls him the next day and tells him that having your main character get aroused by a 12 years old girl makes him a creep. That this bit he added will most likely hit a bad note with critiques and it might change the novels rating or how its viewed by public. On a side note, I think you've read far too much hentai. |

Especially when other LN author's handle this sort of thing in a myriad of different ways, it just seems like more an excuse than an actual reason. | OMG lol the new girl with the red eyes reminds me of Rei from Evangelion. Dam the duo pilot mech is pretty awesome along with the other mechs. Can't wait to see them in battle. |

| Seems like they rush and skipped a lot of scenes from the original. Never read the original though. Like the new girl. Her appearances feels rush. That four legged mech looks awesome and it can carry three mechs too. But what I'm looking forward to is that flying mech we see in the OP. |

| More or less the episode is about preparations and stuff for the next episode. Oh well, considering what happen last week, this is pretty good change of pace. |

| It was a nice set-up episode for the next one. As an anime-only, the show seems to have been going at a very fast pace, not that I have a problem with it or anything, it's just something to note. |

Plus, in Ernie's view, he knows he is of small stature and hardly to be seen manly, he is most likely felt conflicted to be treated as some mascot animal by the girls (even Addy didn't consider him as a guy lol) 2) Ernie is a hardcore mecha otaku who devoted all his free time to his mecha hobbies. So when he reincarnated into this isekai, it's basically having his wet dream come true. I can kinda see that he would devote all his passion, libido included, into mecha R&D and mecha piloting first, with every other things come to distance second. |
| Mech keeps getting upgraded at quite a lightspeed magnitude! It won't be long until Ernesti creates a godlike mech...and can we please have villains that can match-up with the increasing power of the empire!?!? that biometric-like type of key is a major plus in this episode so that hijacking of silhouette knights won't happened again. 4/5. |

| i only hope they will show what is needed to create OP machine. because ikaruga is special or one of a kind machine. in this and next ep show focus of lab and his order. lab create mass produced mecha which is user friendly. when order is creating unique and new stuff, but their stuff isn't for average knight. or extreme case ikaruga which can only be piloted by eru... because is so over the top. |

| The focus on innovation is really the only thing I like about this anime. Ernesti should've been a girl, tbh. But then it'd just be a lackluster copy of Youjo Senki. Oh well at least I like the OP... |

Although at some point he was a 30 year old with a libido, I can see how his hardcore hobby interest and lack of hormones would cause the reaction we see here. Kind of like the guy from Overlord being a skeleton and not being able to do anything about that lady coming onto him. |

| Nice to see the new designs. They're slowly but surely turning into modern day mechas. I really hope we get to see his dream mech in full before the show ends, shown in the opening and pretty fucking bad ass. |
