| Weird that the rating on this series is so low. Episode 1 felt pretty on target in terms of setting the stage and building up the suspense. Although episode 1 is generally a bad indicator of the quality of the entire season, at worst this was a 7.5 start by MAL standards (considering that some trashy harem series get that score). Looking forward to what's to come though. |
| While I feel it was clunky at times and the execution could be better, it gives off a very different vibe from what you came to expect from anime. And of course, there's mysteries. So for me, definitely worth watching. |

| This didnt really felt like an anime, also could barely watch it almost fallen asleep, I can see for some this has merits, but for me was really boring talk and somewhat slowpaced, I cant imagine that anything good will come out of it. |

The OP song is rather catchy though. A main selling point imo is the setting so far as it has a Victorian-like feel. They introduced the main characters pretty fast and we get to see a little bit of their past. I take this show as a supernatural mystery so expecting a lot of development for the story. There's also some slight fan service although I didn't find it distracting. That Kou Josef Hiraga is such a mysterious dude tbh, really hope we learn more about him. Seems like a pretty serious show without any comedy. Some of the scenes in the second half gave me really eerie vibes. |

| Not great, but not terrible either. I figured I'd try this anime to see if it was insulting/offensive, but I think it has done alright so far. The characters are taking an objective look at these so-called "miracles" and the mystery put forth is interesting enough. |

| Honestly, Iam watching this because I remembre well how Japanese utilized European church, myths, folklore and history in Hellsing (and it was awesome) and I expect doing something interesting in this as well. And after watching first episode Iam sure this gonna be interesting to watch. |

| I've been putting this off for awhile even though the premise seemed very interesting when I first saw it come out. This was a brilliant first episode. Don't know why it has such a low score. |

| I swear anything associated with Christianity or any religion creep the fuck outta me. I used to be VERY religious person, but since 2016 I started questioning religion and slowly it makes me Deist, now I'm an Atheist. I wasn't expecting that I'll be one in the forthcoming, truth be told. And honestly this show gives me the creeps and I'm watching this at 2AM. Hahaha. But I decided to continue watching this even though it's making me very uncomfortable. Pretty interesting 1st episode. Liked it. P.S. So Junichi Suwabe's character is gay again? Hihihi. Please be gay. Please be gay, Robert Nicholas. Lmfao. |

| Hearing how much faith father Josef has makes me want to see his brother heal from his sickness. But at the same time, it also makes me wonder what will happen to him if his brother died - will he turn into the dark side? I like that the two priest doesn't have any special power and is mainly relying on their brain and use of technology and science. But the pacing was a bit slow...sometimes I feel like skipping on some parts and just go to the ending in order to find out the answer about the miracle. |

| Why don't Nippon create/make more horror/mystery anime is beyond me.. this pilot episode is so gripping, a little bit scary, and certainly full of mysteries. | Well, I read some reviews about this series and some people commented how boring this is and this shouldn't be watched. But judging the first episode, I think it's really interesting and it's really unique and it's a bit scary. Athough it's quite fast for me. Like, they put a lot of things in one episode. But I like the mystery and I would like to know why will happen next. Father Nicolas is a good guy tho, waking up and even ironing Joseph's clothes. And I have a bad feeling for that sister dorothea, (?) and that another father. Anyway, let's see what will happen next. |

| I originally intended to watch this one in October for spooky month but I took too long with Dusk Maiden unfortunately lol, but I’m watching it now on the Blu-ray I got on sale and wow, I absolutely wasn’t expecting this to be from 2017 lol, I was thinking it had to be 2011 at the latest but no, it’s pretty wild because it not only looks like an older show but also has the vibe if that makes sense. That aside tho, I did really like this first episode, it’s kinda interesting seeing so many folks that weren’t into this back when it came out (I even recognize some users that post to this day) but hey, sometimes a show can be your own personal gold lol. And its kinda funny, I haven’t seen so much religious imagery in a show since I watched “Maria-sama Watches Over Us” and that’s a much different show than this lol, it definitely works in both a mystery and romantic way. And our two MCs are interesting so far, we not only have the current miracle they’re examining but also these two characters to figure out lol, along with the rest of the folks at this Rosario Church of which there are many. The visuals and ost are very nice as well, I’m a fan of that OP and ED too, really liked the use of real life images and footage in the ED. Definitely looking forward to checking out more of this one. |
