| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not too shabby, they poured a decent degree of building up into the first half of this episode. It reunited the main players/performers for the grand performances in the finale. The duo performance with the night and clocktower had a magic feel bought a magical-like feel to this episode. |

| He hurt his shoulder. Ex-creepy guy is blaming himself. Ancients suggested him not to continue under the condition, and after some talk, ex-creepy guy will substitute him. Nobu's character is sad, but encouraged him. Ootori is the one who made the miracle, and gave him his hair tie. That final part with "imaginary" background scene. ED song (in full! and all cast ver.!) in compilation of the rest of the show. And that ED dance scene added that Ootori with hairs down. There's more "training" (for the main guy) after summer vacation. Same as first season, "☆☆Eien ★STAGE☆☆ (☆☆永遠★STAGE☆☆)" by team Ootori as the ED for finale. ED Single CM revealed that coupling songs will be the same song w. team Hiiragi, Riku x Hachiya x Kitahara x Nanjou, and all casts. Next week airs musical parts (not sure if it's the whole musical that they do this season or the IN song musical scenes. THOUGH looks like it's latter) as special ep. |

| I'm in tears over the last part, I gotta say I wasn't expecting them to sing some more after the musical part, and full length all cast at that ;____; I was a bit iffy about how they resolved the arm pain with the magic Otori touch (kinda deja vu with how Akatsuki suddenly had a change of heart in S1) and I chuckled at the 'Kimi no Na wa' scene instead of being touched, but everything else was amazing. I did not expect at all for Ageha to have an important role in the final episode with how things were going, but man, this part was so well-written. He had to have something with how he's been so prominent most of the season and in the OP, and what transpired here made Ageha's change of heart crucial to the plot. They definitely reserved their budget for this last episode, and it feels so final... I can only hope for more content to be announced at Starmyu Fes but for now, thank you Starmyu ♡ |

I would like to watch in raw since the sub isn't here but even in raw, I can't find. | Great final episode! This performance in the end with everyone was really good! But I'm super sad that it ended now... Hope, there will be a third season or more OVAs in the future (at least, there is the special). |

That Nayuki scene is still the strongest hint at something other than a platonic feeling imo. I like to quote what the Japanese fans often say - Hoshitani belongs to everybody. |

| This episode was perfect imo. I love this show so much, I feel like next season is gonna be super sad because I won't have more of it :( This was definitely my favorite show of the season. |

| I am so bitter about Hoshitani's injury healing suddenly. Flying around on strings is probably more painful/strenuous than simple dancing, so Hoshitani should've been in pain from that. That was the main thing that ruined this ep for me, which is so sad because I've loved starmyu and was looking forward to the finale. Combining that with The Ship makes me uncomfortable, I didn't expect Otori to tell Hoshitani to risk his health to do the play. I absolutely loved Ageha in this ep, though, especially the times he talked about how he wished Hoshitani had been his god. Ageha's character development has been amazing. |

That's my main gripe for this episode too, it kinda felt like the story wrote itself into a corner and had to use a cheap trick to get out, which is a real pity because Starmyu has always been so well-written imo. | Now go married. When everyone was singing, feels. Great episode. I really liked this season, never felt heavy. Ageha dere-ed nicely afer being annoying for awhile, but I guess the present matters more. There was nice character development all around. 7.5/10 |

| I found this second season a bit disappointing, especially the first half. The main problem in my opinion was that they focused way too much on secondaries characters, like the senpais and Ageha, who is typically a bad character. He was a jerk for no reason, then became Hoshitani's bff in about 15 seconds. The first second I saw him I knew he would screw this season. What I liked the most in the first season was seeing the main group interacting and having funny moments together, and this lacked a lot here. But it's still Starmyu, with some good characters and it was enjoyable. There were less cringe moments than in the first season. 6/10 |
| The part where they all broke out in song felt more befitting of the title "Ayanagi Showtime." This was a spectacular finale. While season one seemed more centered around the Love Live school idol angle, this part was able to shift that energy towards musical theater in earnest. Having been in a few musicals myself, I really enjoyed seeing Shadows & Light play out in these final episodes. It was an exciting feeling to be both immersed in the Starmyu characters while still being pulled in the story of Lambert & Alexis. When Yuta & Itsuki started flying, that's when it felt like the pay off for both stories had paid off. Still, ending the show with an idol performance from Team Ootori was the way to go. I know there's another season (and I highly look forward to it!), but this felt like it brought everything full circle and to total satisfaction. 8.5/10 |

| Nice finale, but overall I think the first season was more interesting, charming and fun than this one. The whole drama with Ageha was especially unnecessary. It also felt odd how he suddenly became Hoshitani's best friend after hating him for so long. I missed all the moments from the first season, when the main group was interacting and having goofy moments together. Tavian also got almost zero screen time. :( I missed that cute cat. Episode 6 with that training camp was my favorite moment in this season. |
