Hmmm Probably it's about the same atmosphere throughout the whole show

I liked the show, it's done in an older animation style but not the like really old ones. I found it interesting and fun to watch imo. Not something I would usually recommend but you can always give it a try to see?

Idk I have never read the manga, I would assume the manga is much more complete than the anime since It has 80+ chapters and it is marked romance so I bet there must be some in it. Usually o have a manga that long there has to be some sort of romance or else it wouldn't make for a completely interesting story.

Now that I see the manga might be longer maybe I should read it too... XD

Hmmmm if you already read the manga I wouldn't other watching it then >.> it doesn't finish the story really by the end and they won't make another season u.u
I would suggest Lovely Complex and Ore Monogatari!! If you want some like down to earth, real shoujo/romance.

mmmm I wouldn't say real romance? There is obviously an interest though.

Kagisami the guys are different historical gods like appollo, hades, loki, and some japannese ones I don't remember. It's a reverse harem anime but I liked it if thats not your thing though I wouldn't recommend it. But most reverse harems are partly shoujo just with more guys imo.

Zombie Loan? I don't think there are any part cat people??

Zombie Loan isn't anything bad I'm not a huge fan of ecchi but I thought it was a pretty interesting anime for being an older one. I consider it shoujo because 2 guys protect the girl all the time, I wish it got a continuation but it didn't T.T
Some of them the characters have powers but nothing like one punch man or anything, petty tame. isn't akatsuki no yona fantasy? I always considered it because hey who dosen't want 4 dragons and a Hack to be eye balling them >.>

idk if you have ever seen lovely complex but it brought me to tears T.T Such a good romcom!!!

I actually haven't seen a lot of shounen-ai/yaoi for years, but I really liked Dokyuusei. It's a movie but it's so, so good. The art is really nice and the story is heart-fluttering, haha.
