As soon as Nina mentioned her teacher, I knew it was Favaro! Hope we get to see him soon, it's kinda the only reason I'm watching.

Me too! Haha

Another enjoyable episode again this week~

Never like in this anime series. I support the bad guys, who now cover the role of good. Go Azazel !!! Another interesting episode, I'm so fond of, the way to tell this series. I liked the way the characters were linked to each other. Now I am curious to find out how the new characters will move throughout history. Now it is also clear why Nina had a bracelet similar to that of Favaro. I want the next episode, and Favaro, too.

FAVAROOOOO !!!

That arm wrestling was a really good way to showcase Charioce's strength. I was honestly surprised he even lasted that long against Nina.

The current king lol, I doubt that I'm gonna learn his name any time soon

Great episode!!! Favaro was finally mentioned. And of course he should have something with all this mess. I really hope Nina saves Azazel. I don't know why, by I like to see how different is his behavior now, mainly when he is side by side of Mugaro. Something as a father and his child. And talking about child... Rita speech's about Rocky was simply lol.
So I hope Azazel will be saved by the "princess". Rally, I like to see that guy with Nina, is very funny. lol

The king is suuuch a biiiishie >w< After the arm wrestling scene I can't believe he's a bad guy dammit!

(totally my reaction)

FINALLY we got Favaro mentioned, completely didn't expect him to be in Nina's "master" role, doesn't feel like him at all... Hope we'll get to his story soon enough.
Btw, until Rita mentioned Rocky, I totally forgot that Kaisar lost his arm lol. He covered it nicely with his cape, that's for sure.

Don't you dare die, Azazel! There's no enough sexy demon bishies around!

I'm enjoying it and all, but I'm definitely missing Favaro and Amira. Also.. it's too much "Nina doing cute shit" imo.. I wish there'd be less of that and a bigger focus on the story and its characters instead. I'm hoping for some more meaningful conversations/interactions between the characters.

I want the sense of adventure back which was so prevalent in the first season.

The gods are still at it with scheming their petty schemes.

Her offer to Bacchus was laughable. Why would he want to return to Heaven now of all times?

How Nina casually dropped Favaro's name and everyone freaked out was funny.

Really starting to like the direction of the anime. While I liked the first season, it kind of just jumped around from place to place. Personally, I really like how a specific conflict is set in place with man starting to rise up and bring down both gods and demons. Along with that, characters have grown from the first series, but face new problems in life.

What I find most amusing is the new take on Azazel. While we saw him in the first season as being a prick with a sense of pride and duty, we now see him in a more relatable light. Like, I'm pretty sure that he was much stronger in the first season. Regardless, so far he's definitely my favorite part of the show.

From the first three episodes, this show is definitely going to be good. Though as a former player, I wish there were more cameos from Rage of Bahamut and Granblue Fantasy.

So the king Charioce is as strong as Nina? Is he a dragon too? And which grave was it he visited? I'm now even more curious about his past (that wasn't a twin brother since he has the same rings on the left hand when he is on the throne)

It is the same face but I just dont feel like it is him... he had a different nature to himself and all.

I m enjoying this show alot, living to my expectations so far, since I have fully embraced the slower pacing, I m digging the development of Nina as a character, and how the show is caming full circle with past season, with Favaro being Nina's teacher.
Also, so Rocky is Kasier's lost hand, that is so funny and cute from Rika. :)
It ended on such tones, goddamit, now I really wanna see what happens next episode!

This is probably going to end up being the best looking anime of 2017. Seriously, the animation is on an entirely different level, it's so consistent it's actually insane. I think in terms of animation, Boku no Hero Academia season 2 is going to be it's only serious contender.

Lmao, are you sure you're watching the same anime? Not even in the top 10? I can't take you seriously. It's easily right besides Bahamut this season. I don't even want to know what you consider top 10 worthy if Bnha season 2 isn't there.

The past 3 eps have just been beating us over the head that demons are oppressed. Almost no plot progression at all.
Compare that to how in season 1 plot progression was constant.
Worst, despite being the, "protagonist" Nina has 0 agency in the story (though, she has potential of becoming best girl/waifu of 2017...)
Well, I'm definitely not planning to drop Virgin Soul anytime soon.

Talking solely the animation quality. I have checked out 27 shows this season and yes there are a lot of better looking shows.

Virgin Soul
Attack on Titan
Saenai Heroine
Quan Zhi Gao Shou
Re:Creators
Uchouten Kazoku 2
Eromanga-sensei
Sakura Quest
Atom: The Beginning
Little Witch Academia
Granblue Fantasy

All these looks better visually

I said I didn't care about your top 10, so I don't see why you even bothered to list it since you obviously don't understand animation well enough. All the subtle mannerisms and character animations from s2 of Bnha outshine pretty much every show you listed, and as a bonus has a bunch of sakuga moments, but of course someone that considers garbage like Eromanga sensei or Saekano 2(which are both mostly crap static shots, the anime, not actually animated) to look even remotely good is hard to look at seriously. Also, almost everything you listed will most likely fall apart and look like crap by the end, while Bnha will continue to look fantastic and it will even improve it's animation as it goes on. Re:Creators looks really clunky already and inconsistent already, and Granblue is also mostly static shots with mouth animations and looks terrible on the backgrounds it has because of the line style, WOW, how well animated are those, right? Animation is also about consistency, but you don't get that concept. Just look at the characters in Bnha Academia s2 while they sit in class and talk, they all have small gestures and movements that adds to their characters and the characters are always on model, instead of having boring mouth moving animation and characters looking deformed. I'm not saying Bnha s2 doesn't have any static shots, but it doesn't abuse them. To inform yourself better, you should probably read Sakugabooru to appreciate animation more.

Perhaps you should clarify next time. Most people here refer to animation as anything visually shown. I know the difference animation, backgrounds, specific art style choices, etc. I know what sakuga means as well. If your talking moving animation then the most impressive this season would be

Virgin Soul
Attack on Titan
Atom
Little Witch
Hero Academia

Favaro must be the medieval fantasy version of Great Teacher Onizuka.

Good episode but I really don't get why they are protecting Azazel... well, in Nina's case that would be understandable at least as for some reason she gets (stupidly) hot everytime she look on some man but why Kaisar even, for god's sake?

Guess I understand now why this is named Virgin Soul at least.

Pretty funny that Rita has Kaisar's hand as familiar, heh. And the revelation that Favaro was Rita's teacher was also unexpected. I wonder who that noble boy was though. Guess they need to connect together to destroy the world again or something.

Love how strong Nina is! She beat the King blindfolded *o*
Well, at least I think it's the King...unless he has a twin- he looked exactly like him. Well, whoever he was, I'm with Nina on this one- he's a hottie ;)
Wonder why he was wondering about town like that?

Anyways, the humour this episode was on-point and I knew the moment Nina started talking about her teacher that it was gonna end up being Favaro XD

Wonder where the hell he went though :/

Also, I'm kinda confused about Mugaro's gender...I thought it was a boy at first but now I'm just second guessing myself!

when they started talking about the teacher of Nina I thought "It was Favaro, wasn't it? Totally sounds like him." and then Nina confirmed it right after xD Well I'm really wondering if we are going to see him at all now. With the introduction of him being Ninas teacher I get the feeling they wanted to focus the story around someone else this time. I hope I'm wrong though. Even is he wasn't the best main character there is definitely missing something without him

Other than that I'm wondering who that guy with the ring was. Seems like he is some kind of important person.

And honestly I'm a bit sad that the bounty hunter profession is dead now. There aren't many series with a concept like that and even less in an medieval setting. Although I guess story-wise it makes sense. Just a bit disappointing tbh.

Nooo don't kill yourself you're so sexy haha

I'm really digging the artstyle. I didn't give it that much thought in S1 but now that I think about it, the men are really handsome in Bahamut. Azazel, Kaisar, Charioce, Alessand, that painter guy... they're all drawn beautifully. I think this might just be my favorite artstyle. No wonder Nina is constantly horny. I guess that's why this season is named Virgin Soul.

So Bacchus is actually an exiled god.

I knew immediately Favaro was Nina's teacher.

A dirty, sly move from Charioce to get Azazel out into the open.

Favaro was Nina's teacher and taught her about bounty hunting. Sweet.

I wonder if Kaisar ever gets weirded out by the fact that Rita has his hand just casually helping her out. I know I would be.

Nina, what kind of lust do you have to make you transform!!! lol
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
