 The official Twitter for the Love Live! franchise has announced that Love Live! Sunshine!! will receive second season for Fall 2017. The announcement was one of the announcements for "Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours Next Step! Project" and was done during the second day of "Aqours 1st LoveLive! ~Step! ZERO to ONE~" on Sunday.Love Live! Sunshine!! is part of the multimedia Love Live! project co-developed by Dengeki G's Magazine, animation studio Sunrise, and music label Lantis. The first season aired in Summer 2016. | To be honest, I'd rather have a 3rd season of the original series than a 2nd season of Sunshine. It was just a direct copy/paste anyway. Wouldn't be that surprised if this 2nd season ends up similar to the originals 2nd season. Can't say I'm excited though, but I'll watch it nonetheless. |

| The crowd at the cinema screening lost it when this got announced. I totally saw it coming but boy I'm glad. I'm actually legit curious to see where the story is headed unlike when S2 of the original got announced and I just thought 'Yay. It's more of that show I liked'. Of course part of why I liked OG Season 2 was because I didn't expect much from it and I got something really amazing. That was what really hooked me on the series. I expect a lot more from this since Sunshine's first season was a lot stronger so I hope it doesn't disappoint. |
