Hopefully they bring somwthing new to the table seeing that the situations are pretty much exactly the same. Chihiro's disease and the person that loves her > Kuze's disease and the person that loves him Kei's unrequited love and the person she loves + outsider rival > Nagi's unrequited love and the person she loves +outsider rival Seriously Mizuki? Seriously? You're on a beach love. There's sand...even better there's water... but you use your hands? *sigh* silly anime characters... Also if the bully is Nagi (which most likely it is) I'll be dissapointed. That would definitely be predictability at it's worst. I would love it if Yuuko ruined her own things to get Yuu's sympathy/attention. And explained her actions by reinforcing that she's human and has problems blah blah shock drama intensity blah...Now that would be awesome. |

It has me slightly creeped out though, in a good intense way. What the hell has Yuuko done. The music as well, so suspenceful :D & I hope to see Miyako perhaps! Yayy. |

| Woa, beautifull episode, im not getting enough Kimura/Yuuko, so far i loved the Mizuki/Kuze scene where she turns off the fire of the violin with her hands, it was awesome how she reacted and the way when Kuze turns around and they focused a tear in his eye... i had chills there. And moar Renji/Chihiro D: one of my favorites couples, nice to see them back. Yuuko part: "Like a sandbag..." holy.. i almost droped a tear. Im expecting moar Kimura/Yuuko on the next episodes. |

| Needa see more of Hirono and Miyamae (can't remember her name lol). Cbf with the Kuze story, since the ending is so dam predictable. They are probably going to have a tragic love affair for a few months then I bet Kuze will just go to hospital and die, sure its sad don't get that part wrong, but its also boring. Clinging on to what will happen with Himura and Yuuko. Chihiro and Renji's appearance was cool. |

| Best episode so far, imo. For me the Mizuki and Kuze relationship is the highpoint, so far. But, the Yuuko and Yuu one is definitely interesting. |

Oh great first time so far that I made buckets of TT_TT why? First of it hit so hard where Yuko got bullied=>  That I wish I could have done something but this is anime....can't do nothing but watch as the story unfolds.....but there is message to be given to bullies as a fellow Christian....that is rot in hell and what ever you do don't think God does not exist or is blind pay a full price after your death and roam this earth suffering the same suffering you do to real people IRL when you are alive. The other thing was another hard hitter TT_TT ....that is the whole scenario of Hayama's hands here=> This was also nice art here=> |

| In memories my favorite was Chihiro... now in melodies I have two favorites... Mizuki and Yuuko. They are just soo cute. Ecspecially Mizuki. I also would LOVE to see what has happened to Yuuko as a child and a teen that makes her soo calm when bullying hits. It's like she's endured so much, that this is nothing new >.< Poor Yuuko. Anyways, enjoying this season just as much as the first one(: |

| OMG Mizuki, And even after her burns she still has that sarcastic voice...Hopefully she'll heal at the end of the series. I also believe Nagi is bullying Yuko,it just seems way too obvious. but so far, i'm loving this more than the previous series, lets just hope that download finishes soon! |

| This was an amazing episode, so much stuff going on and that cliffhanger killed me. Yuko's bullying is a huge problem, but Mizuki's story is also really good. We also got to see Chihiro again. I can't wait for more. |

| minor spoilers if people didn't watch Memories but... lol @ himura's face when nagi piggyback, and i guess the nudity got complaints... damn i wouldn't complain shit if i had the chance to see it R.I.P. soon kuze, i will be glad to see the arc focused on Himura and Yuuko when you're out :p well, guess now we're only missing Hiro and Miya from Memories (Kei mentioned by name) but i guess they can't add anything to this |

| And that's it, Ef managed to give me chills once again. Mizuki saving Kuze's violin was a beautiful scene. But about Kuze, is he really going to die ? If that is so then I know I'm gonna cry. And about Yuuko, poor girl was bullied, I feel bad for her. But she is also such a mysterious character, I really wonder why we could see her in Memories without her having changed in the slightest, and even more, with her seemingly having some omnipotent power. |

| Crazy how it feels like some anime are left behind in their era. This show is so solid but I haven't seen anyone discuss it deeply in like 10 years now. Still holds up for sure though. |
| Thinking about it, perhaps ef - a tale of melodies is kind of a game of chicken. There is one person who chases, and the other person who is chased. Each side wants something from the other person, and the person who relents first loses. However, if one person attempts to quit the game, it forces the other person to prevent them from quitting, otherwise the other person automatically loses. This anime feels like it interpreted happiness as a limited resource, where there's a finite amount that exists in the cast and it constantly disappears over time. In other words, everyone's miserable, and they continuously make each other and themselves more miserable because they don't know how else to cope with their own trauma-induced states of indecision. That aside, it's interesting to see the ef -a tale of memories characters interact, where we can see simultaneous stories going on. |
