Lot of action and especially an overkill Yona. That cliffhanger is magic ! Anyone know the title of the music, during the cliffhanger ?

(These OST are wonderful, I need this album).

Great episode!!! Action packed and humorous. The green and blue dragon had the best fight scenes; especially Jae-ha, whose kicks and spins were awesome.

The highlight for me was Yona and her bullseye; assuming Kumuji's dead, that means, OMG... is this Yona's first kill? Captain Oba-chan is a badass in her own right.

Surprise meeting at the end... where is this going to lead? Can't wait for the next episode.

This episode felt REALLY short and I don't know why! When SuWon appeared I thought I was halfway through the video x_x
Really well animated episode, music was great and all the voice acting cast were awesome as always. I can't believe there are only 2 episodes left :( I hope they announce a second season

Seriously, I can't get that last 10 seconds out of my head. Already have seen that part probably 20 times by now. The close-up and the background music (from the ED), absolutely brilliant direction and the scriptwriter gets a 10/10.

Unsurprisingly the Yona scene was pretty neat and the culmination of a long journey but nowhere near even close to the kind of all-encompassing scene that so many here were hyping it up as. Don't get me wrong it was quite well shot and paced, I was just expecting a lot more actual animation and oomph to it the way people have been losing their minds over it.

I wish the opening didn't spoil that scene tbh -_-

Awesome episode! Nice job Yona you shot Yan Kumji! Guess all those nights of target practice really paid off!

For a second there I actually thought Jeaha died for a second there :o

I had a feeling that Yona would bump into Su-won when she was all by herself but I didn't actually expect it to happen...I wonder how and why he got to Awa.

Yeah, they're definitely giving this another season (as long as they have enough money to produce it). There's no way it's gonna end in 2 episodes. i wonder if they'll make another 24 episode season or make just a 12 episode season.

That bloodlust from Yona before shooting the arrow and then getting a direct hit... she's really become such a great character.

Damn that ending with Su-won didn't expect it at all. I wonder if she still has romantic feelings for him.

Episode that shows a narrative worthy of note, with contexts less forced twists and epic, to the end.
Pleased with how it ended this arc of the story, the plot that has managed to rejoin well with the mainstream, but now comes the best.
Drawings and animations appreciable, soundtrack a bit repetitive, but it looks good with the situations shown.

Dat Sinha and Jaega teamwork! Kija and Hak teamwork, too.

Dat old lady is badass as well, the most badass I know.

I bet Yona is going to aim for Kumji. She is so awesome! Such a perfect shot, my feet started to tingle with excitement.

So Suu-won and Yona meet and it ends. With a cliffhanger. Epic.

Best episode thus far, well this one and the one with Yona and Hak fighting on the cliff and falling. Yona shooting that slaver, and the dragons and pirates successfully bring them down. Then the surprise last part with the real villian showing up.

Damn that ending with Su-won didn't expect it at all. I wonder if she still has romantic feelings for him.

Complicated question. I don't think she's in love with the current him. If you asked her if she would want to marry him now, she would be horrified, I'm quite positive. However, once you've loved someone, it's not something you can just pretend never happened. She's clinging on to her memories of him because she hasn't been able to let go of the Soo-won who has always been so kind and gentle to her. Unfortunately, that one and this current one are in the same body... X_x

I would say that its more like she cannot forget their friendship above all. In the manga through chapters dedicated entirely to their childhood we can see the trio (not just Yona x Soo-Won) were BEST FRIENDS. Best friends who not just played together but respected and protected each other equally, aka Soo-Won had a equal relationship with Hak as he had with Yona, he didnt like her more than he liked Hak and vice versa. I believe its more the sense of betrayal that is making her suffer than her "romantic" feelings. Its the fact that someone that was your childhood friend betrayed you in the worst way possible. Someone you considered like family. Its very hard. My theory is somehow confirmed by Hak's reaction later in the manga.
Everyone is focusing on Yona x Soon won and "oh he betrayed Yona, poor girl". Everyone is leaving out Hak like if it doesnt concern him...
I'll repeat... the three were best friends and Hak is in the same position as Yona regarding Soo-Won. So imo, she doesnt have romantic feelings for him but still has lingering affection coming from the fact that they were best friends. Just like Hak.

Ah, no, I'm not trying to leave out Hak at all. Yona's feelings for Soo-won were romantic in nature so I was only answering that aspect.

Best friends who not just played together but respected and protected each other equally, aka Soo-Won had a equal relationship with Hak as he had with Yona, he didnt like her more than he liked Hak and vice versa.

I actually disagree with this a little. I think Yona was always more of an afterthought for Soo-won. Soo-won was always actually more enamored with Hak because he had great admiration for him. I know I talked about this in another thread already but while all three cared a great deal for one another, in a sense, there was sort of that triangle of unreciprocated feelings. Yona was more interested in Soo-won(because of her romantic feelings) while Soo-won was more interested in Hak(because of his great admiration), and Hak was more interested in Yona(because of his romantic feelings). As I said elsewhere, Soo-won was more interested in catching up with Hak when he arrived at the beginning. As well, he even admitted he wanted Hak and was jealous of Yona because she had Hak as her servant. The admiration from Soo-won for Hak is even more apparent if you've read the chapter about the three of them spending time away from the castle in town when they were young. Again, I'm not saying Soo-won doesn't care for Yona...just that his feelings were a little stronger in regards to Hak.

Well I agree with you that Yona would have an inclination for Su-won due to "romantic feelings" as Hak would have an inclination towards her for the same reason. Im going to put this under spoiler because its kinda off topic

^ No doubt, they all loved one another. Just like how you said that Yona would have an inclination for Soo-won and how Hak would have an inclination towards her, to me, it just appeared as if Soo-won was more inclined towards Hak because he *also* admired him. That's where I was coming from in terms of the triangle. And, yes, I totally understand what you're saying with your siblings example...though, again, even if you loved them all equally, if you got along better with one, you would probably be more inclined towards him/her. You did a much better job of explaining this than I did ^^

That was an awesome episode, and I think Yona is starting to become one of my favorite female characters.

I wasn't expecting anyone to die during that battle, but when I saw the scene from the OP incoming... and it hit Kumji in the heart too. Yona actually killed him. Just wow. She's changed a lot.

That in itself was enough, but then they threw in another wham moment with that ending. The anticipation would have been tremendous if I had watched this when it was still airing.

Episode was somehow good and Yona's resolve leading to her first kill was brilliant too but that slapstick in the end totally ruined the atmosphere. Writing was all over the place in the first half and felt really cheesy. And epic music was also overused this time.

Also, it was kinda disappointed that didn't make her remember that her father was opposed to killing anyone. She did something he certainly wouldn't agree with. Yet, in her mind she only asked him if she had became stronger.

The ending was shocking but on the other hand it's almost too convenient for the story that Suwon suddenly appeared when they were there.

If they make him a good guy it will be very disappointing and the doom of this anime. He deserves nothing less sword right into his heart. Yona shouldn't hesitate when meeting him. And he shouldn't hesitate and let her capture immediately. But I have a feeling they'll horribly downplay whole situation.

The anime is really great and yona's character development is pretty nicely done. Also i think she has a secret power since she is also a dragon
But what i disliked is the animation during Yona's badass moment, they just still paneled it.It would have been a lot better if the arrow had badass animation to depicr the badass moment *sigh*

Wow such a crazy episode. The fights were nice and man that shot of Yona right into Kumji.
Omg I laughed so much when everyone wanted to do someting the this festival and Yuns head came into the screen to say something against it xD

And of course the most unexpected thing happened at the end. Yona ran into Su-won. For real? My mouth stand open when I saw it.

I don't really know what will happen, but damn the preview for the next episode. That's a "real" cliffhanger.

In the end I almost had a fit. Good thing I'm watching this after all ep's came out.

Yes, that's why I said earlier, that Soo-Won made an epic mistake with his revenge, because the three of them were best friends and he's certain to hurt them and himself, even if he was going to make such "sacrifice" for the good of the country, he kind of decided that by himself.

This episode highlighted all the stupid things in this anime. The bad guy somehow senses an arrow on him, but does nothing. Death glares should not have magical properties! Yuna should not terrify people. You can be surprised that she doesn't back down, but there is no way she should be able to paralyze people.

Unless she is really the reincarnation of the Red Dragon and does have power in her eyes. The Red Dragon was the leader of all dragons so...it means he had power too.
