 Shogakukan's Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine announced on Wednesday that Magic Kaito will get its own TV anime series. It will replace Kindaichi Shounen Jikenbo Returns this Fall. The studio will be A-1 Pictures.The manga's special anime adaptation, which aired as a part of Detective Conan, was aired between 2010 to 2012. | Magic Kaito? I read the first few chapters, nowhere as good as Conan. Sorry, Kaito is a good recurring character, but he is NOWHERE close when centered as a main character. |

| Seeing A-1 pictures as the one that's gonna make it, I doubt that it will be long-running like 50+ ep since they still focus on another long running anime like FT. I think 2 or 3-cours are enough. |
