Since youre planning Blood Sign, please dont be put off by the first chapters, or the first volume in general, it has a rough start, i loved it, but ive seen more then enough people not like the first volume, it gets alot better from V2 onward, and V5 is a genuine 10/10, all the people ive encouraged to read more after the first volume all came to love it

i know right, how far are you in it because it only gets more insane about how different it is, especially with pretty much every character ESPECIALLY the "antagonists".

anyhow let me know what you think of it as it goes on, personally I think it only gets better and better as it goes along and is a series that has managed to catch me off guard a multitude of times especially later in.

Thanks man. I'm not sure why it's rated so highly either but my guess is most of the MAL userbase that has scored it has already gone through 265 episodes of Gintama to get there so it's mostly inaccessible to anyone but the most diehard fans. I liked it but it's not great.

And that's understandable about Joshiraku. As an aside, part of that joke (the "takes place in a dressing room" bit) is the fact that while it does technically take place there, the location does change every so often within the dressing room itself. But it's definitely dialogue heavy and probably wouldn't be to your liking as it has nothing much to fall back on (other than just being really silly).

Good to hear, that's what my layout is for after all ;) Yeah episodic anime are quite good for enjoying it in its own pace and in addition it's also a pretty long anime. I know I said up to 50 episodes are fine, but I wasn't prepared that I'd actually get an longish anime haha.

The thematic about portraits are rather uninteresting for me, but I like it very much how Fujita shows them his skills and finesse every time!

I wanted to thank you personally four your recommendation. It was already clear for me that it would be hard to find something entire new for me, because I browse and check almost every anime/manga entry to look for something that could interest me. So I was more curious about what my santa would pick out of there, and Gallery Fake was something I already downloaded a long time ago, so you hit a good spot. I've started watching some episodes and it's quite good, but I will take my time slowly to watch this anime since I'm overall not much in watching-mood right now. From your review I could see that you really put your thoughts making a rec for me, so I'm glad that you was my santa. Thanks again!
