So, we know the Kougon cult is seperated into two factions, those who approve the use of Shikabane Himes, and those who don't....

LOL at Keisei randomly picked-up scrolls that may contain all kinds of technique...but he RANDOMLY picked them up...how carefree is that....

And it seems Makina is actually the daughter of one of the ten founding families of Kougon cult and her father was pretty famous Kougon priest...And Makina asked Keisei to become her contracted priest of her own will AFTER she died and became a corpse... how badass is that? But it's perfectly understandable, she got her limbs torn apart and tortured before she died after all.....

Hehe....a curse on Ouri...and he stabs Keisei....

This series is getting more and more intense....

Oh my goodness.. The last part freaked me out (I thought Keisei would notice or something)!!! That's what happens when human try to touch those Shichisei shikabanes.. :S

I thought Shichisei would exploit Ouri to kill all the kids or use him as a shield in their battle against Keisei & Makina.. But apparently they used him in a more direct manner... I wonder what kind of things happen when a human and a Shichisei forge an "En". Unlike Contracted priest and their shikabane hime, this bond seem to do more affect the human more than the shikabane, even to the extent of allowing shichisei to gain some control the human?!?

By the way, the middle portion on Keisei's narration of his past was kinda corny (although somewhat "refreshing") to me.. Why couldn't his past be told in a more normal manner? I don't know.. Somehow I feel that it doesn't fit well in that situation..

Can't wait to watch the next episode, but I got really scared of what will happen to Ouri and Keisei, especially what else will Ouri be made to do.... And how that leads to him joining the Kougon cult (?) and becoming a Contracted Priest.

you can get Chinese subs (same as raw + good quality + small size) on isohunt....

The only way you can really get them is through torrents like [Zero-Raws]. I guess FUNi still doesn't like them on streaming sites' even if they're only raws'.

I emphasize that you can get the Chinese subs even if you don't understand Chinese. If you're looking for raws, then the language of the subtitles does not matter...

And this works for all anime series. The Chinese subs are always the first ones to come out (usually within 12 hours of the broadcast) Depending on the group, most of the good ones use rmvb format and results in filesize of about 110-120 mb for extremely good quality (Believe me on that, it's even better than some of the raws because they get it from their own private source....)

However, the Chinese subs torrent die very fast. Within a month after it's out, the seeds are almost all gone. You should get it as fast as possible.

Well yeah, I guess you can do that too. I still get distracted time to time by the subs even if it's in a language I don't know.

Blah...I am getting more and more uninterested in this show (seems like I am the only one). He got stabbed, and I was like: "Meh, it happens here and there"....this is not reaction I usually have when something big happens to one of the main characters. This is obvious proof to me that I don't care...I stopped hoping for anything since Minai died...

That's exactly what I said to myself nina4life! LOL. They gave us more context and background, but still, for Oori, nothing, which is ridiculous since he's the main character.

I have a feeling that puri's backstory is being saved for S2 as it seems it will be pretty important. That stupid cat is either going to save him now or is going to be a power up later. This second half is more than making up for the lackluster first episodes.

great episode, what a shocker of an ending, but two things: first off what is up with those hands? the zadan technique? okay, sure a bunch of creepy hands. and 2nd that girl whose like the leader of the 7 stars, whats up with her? is she tripping or what?
anyways i'm curious how they're going to wrap up this up in the next two episode, i wonder if ouri has a hidden power?

If you look closely the beginning of the ED, you see Oori in Kougon clothes and his contracted Shikabane Hime, Makina, so after his brother's death, he'll most probably take over his role in the second season.

Apart from that, it was a very nice episode as usual, with expected but well directed developments. The background surrounding the cult and Shichisei is also getting clearer now. This series is overall a very good dark shonen anime, without a doubt.

Yeah, but that cat is fuckin' useless right now. So what did it do to help Ouri? It stared at him. What has it done to help Ouri during the rest of the show? It stared at him. Oh, and it said mysterious things and led him into dangerous situations.

They never said cats were smart.

i've heard cats have nine lives but this is rediculous, it has to serve some greater purpose than just a spirit that stares and gets ouri into dangerous situations, why is it fallowing him around exactly anyways? ouri is the one who took care of him, now he haunts him?

I hadn't though of that.

Well, I'll forgive the cat everything as long as it does something awesome before SH:Kuro. That is, awesome and revealing (not like the scene in my avatar — raised more questions than it answered).

i hope they will develop it some other way. to kill Keisei by his brother's hands and make him a priest like some sort of an atonement - pretty logical but too predictable.

He didn't die when he came into contact with the cube before. Yeah, he was on 'drugs,' but he is now, too. If he dies this time, I dunno, maybe he forgot to put on his Plot Armor.

For some reason I find that Shikabane to be utterly revolting... maybe it's the character design? Ugly monsters OK, and creepy is good too, but... KP

Nooooooo, I don't want Keisei to die ;_;

Don't tell me Oori is going to be the one to kill his own brother. That's just to cruel even if he is being controlled/possessed by the Shichisei.

I don't like where this is going at all.
TravSavage said:

That's another terrible thought that crossed my mind.

You have to give the Betrayer Priest some credit. He thought of a plan which would destroy both of the brothers and Makina all at once. And to think, one of the most dangerous individuals in the anime is not a corpse but a human!
