| I don't like the "new" kid, he just seems like a copy-paste of Takumi with psychic ability to "read" how cars feel and "fly" on wings. Sure, the show had some over-the-top duels so far, but I don't like the direction it's going with that kid. Overall I still like the show a lot, just hate the kid. |
| Some people think the new kid is Takumi's brother from his mom when their parents separated. If that's true, that would be pretty awesome. |

| Let's just all forget that this fella tried to make you crash, probably succeeded with some people judging by the nickname "Shinigami", and get all buddy buddy with him. It's ok guys, he's cool now. Also, did not recognize Takeshi and the other guy at all lol. Pretty sad that the Night Kids never came back from those constant loses. |

| Lol that interaction between Shinji and the girls felt so wrong. As if total strangers just come to talk to you when you "look like you're feeling down". Way too godamn convenient... I just thought this exact thing during this episode. Wouldn't even surprise me too much, with all the emphasis on "broderly love" (Takahashi bros, Hojo bros...) throughout the season. But then, they don't have the same last name so maybe not. And i agree, Shinji's comments are taking the pun too far, with angel wings and laughing cars and whatnot... |

| What a big disappointment with the last boss being some unknown kid that doesn't even like racing and yet people hype about him. He surrounded by pros and the stage so called heavenly pass yet he said something about people came too many to watch meaningless thing that he doesn't understand. That just plain stupid, Akina is much more different and it felt natural for Takumi to feel like that back then, but this guy here. Tsk, there's not much of a meaning if Takumi beat him. It also took the uniqueness of Takumi. If the last 2 episodes just keeps it like that then 5/10 for this season. |

| I just have to comment on this: are all shinjis completely fucked up? I've been getting evangelion flashbacks... I wouldn't let such kid run on a bicycle, let alone a 1 ton+ bullet with massive killing capacity (or a mecha for that matter). Autists don't belong on touge. |
| Mako is there... but what about Kyoko? at the finish line waiting for "darling"? (doubt it) Mika doesn't seem to be there either. The race hasn't been all that exciting (yet). |

| With so many familiar faces this really feels like the end, I just hope it doesn't feel really slow or boring, but I loved to see the best girl, Mako, again, she is looking great and working hard in the pro world, even though it's difficult. But she's an emotional driver like Takumi, and Keisuke, and she also has fun when she's racing, she is the best, really. I also liked that it was her, and Sayuki that talked to that Inui boy, they will help him realize something, or at least to take action. He's like Takumi was in the past, he doesn't understand what is so great about racing, and if you asked me, I really don't understand why people would waste so much time on the sidelines to watch the race for just a split second, but well, to each their own. That younger Hojo was really obnoxious though, feeling jealous of the bond between Ryousuke and Keisuke, calling it "creepy", I will be glad when he loses, after all, a lot of people said that he's going to win, so he's going to lose, that's how it works here. |

| Just when I was about to start complaining on why we don't have see more characters from the First Stage, a lot of them appeared in this episode! :D Sayuki must be into guys younger than her, lol. I wonder if something unexpected is gonna happen and Project D won't win totally this time. It's mostly unlikely, but who knows? So this kid was that genius driver that can defeat Takumi? :o Nice. Judging from his behaviour he might have Asperger's syndrome, which combined with huge natural talent can indeed result in an opponent that Takumi has not met before. |

| RX7 vs NSX and the NSX looks so good, fire race. mako and sayuki are back and the kid basically seems like another takumi. |

| NSX looks so fine good looking car but looks like a hard car to maintain even though looks slick Shinji has that Amateurish Takumi vibes prob what it's like Takumi vs Takumi's past would like to see that. |
