| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The animation is pretty pathetic. Aside from that, Lydia is pretty, and it's weird hearing Yoshino Yuusuke as Count Ashenbert. I didn't really understand what they're searching for - something about fairies? At least, that guy with the gun in the beginning is searching for Lydia for some reason. I wonder which fansub groups will pick this up, if any, although I don't think this show will be that great. | I just saw this RAW. This is AMAZINGLY comparable to Allison and Lillia. Based on what I understood it is clear the seeting is Scotland/England. The main heroe is some sort of royalty that ned help from the a women named the fairy doctor Lidiya, who posses among skills the power to see other fairies or paranormal apparition and able to communiacte with animals upon we learn that it is a cat that is named Niko and the cat can also make himself invisble. SOMEONE PLEASE SUB THIS! IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS ALLISON TO LILLIA. HIGHLIGHTS: COOL GUN DESIGN!  LIDIA IS KAWAIIII AND LIKE ALLISON EXCEPT MORE MATURE AND SUPERNATURAL POWERS AND LOVE THE TALKING CAT...GOOD IDEA.  To all for information, this movement was the equivalent of kissing a lady on her hand just that some found uncomfortable so it was said that this method was less direct contact with the skin but still equivalent of respect and to a certain extent affection.  Lidiya in another beautiful dress  LOL....CAT DRINKING WHISKEY OR IS IT SCOTCH???  |

| Will admit the main reason for checking this out is the cast. I too watched the raw and tbh couldn't understand half of what Edgar was saying! XP The animation was a little sad, and art could be better, but I was surprised by the seemingly sinister character of Edgar, e.g. the 'torture' scene at the beginning and other 'just as planned' smile moments. Will probably make up my mind after seeing the first couple of subs... Oh and I preferred him with the dark auburn hair :P |

| I was thinking the whole time that Edgar's voice reminded me of someone, so I looked at the actor's page and realized he did Zelgadis from Slayers (recently finished watching Slayers Revolution, so it's fresh in my mind). Anyway, I was unsure whether to answer 1 or 2 in the poll, but put 2 because it wasn't so bad that I'll drop it already, even though I spent a large portion of the episode being pissed. There were, like people said, some issues with the art. But what bothered me was Edgar. He looks and acts kind of like Tamaki Suoh from Ouran, except that he's violent, much more arrogant, shows fewer signs of caring about other people, and isn't endearingly idiotic/clumsy. I feel like he's being pitched to a certain kind of fangirl, with the sparkles, the looks, and the very staged 'rescues'. That kind of character (the arrogant male who assumes women will welcome his advances and keeps going in the face of clear rejection) is one of my pet peeves. |

Yeah actually I found out terrible that Lidiya had to PUSH HIM OFF cause he was going to like molest for a kiss or something like that....I don't like guys like him with girls. | Animation is pretty much off and some character designs are nice, while others definitely aren't. Mizuki-sensei is doing a great job (as usual) and the rest of the male cast is nice as well. Banzai for picking out at least two nice seiya as Miyano Mamoru, but also Midorikawa Hikaru (Saiunkoku Monogatari, Code Geass R2). Don't really like the seiyu for Niko though... The music isn't really to my tastes as well. They probably spent all the money on the cast or something. Anyhow, liked the begin. Starting of with some action and explanation about fairies after that part. Kind of... weird. This promises some adventures, but I don't think it'll be in the top 5 of the autumn season. I feel like watching Heart no Kuni no Alice after watching this... Anyhow, will continue with this. Let's hope next episode has better animation, even if I fear that it won't be much better. 3/5. |

| OMG, I laughed so hard while watching this first episode. It's too shoujo for my taste, even though I love shoujo anime and manga. But the "bishounen sparkles" and other ridiculous sound effects were so funny. I think I'll keep watching this serie only for that (and also because of Tamaki's clone). XD |

| For some reason the animation really reminded me of "Legend of Duo" which may well have the most pathetic animation ever D: and that count guy is really a lot like Ouran's Tamaki, only of course he's Evil. The story seems to be cliched, but sorta sweet so I'm gonna watch this (if only for the cat <33) |

| Great start, it reminds me of a very good anime of 2006, Nishi no Yoki Majou, with a similar setting and lead female character (it was close to a tale and a shoujo anime too). Sometimes, I must admit I prefer limited animation to a good animation, since the direction becomes much more important to the series and could become as good as this one... I enjoyed it and will follow the rest of the series closely ;) |

| I personally loved this first episode. I loved the voices, and Lydia is SO pretty! I love Nico, and I loved the music (violins ftw!) and of course the bishies help, but the story seems to be pretty interesting. i look forward to the next ep :3 |

I like Nico ^^ I hope they resolve the questions as to who the people trying kidnap them are and why they would also kidnap Edgar, because otherwise it would have been a pretty lame opening. What about Lydia's father? Aaanyway, looks decent enough and m.3.3.w. are doing a really good job as always :) |

| Is this a parody ? It's really to much ! But I loved it ! The sparkling bishonen is perfect ! I had a realy good laugh ! It remined me of the walflower... except I guess it's not supposed to be funny... For sure, I will continue to watch this. I'm in such a good mood after watching it. |

Sure, the animation isn't something that great, but the drawing is soooo beautiful (and oh my god, the guys are handsome) and the story seems pretty good. I really love the characters, Edgar reminds me of the classic high-society guy who lives much for the looks and is always teasing and flirting. Lydia has that "I believe in fairies" thing... the cat cracks me up x) And I don't know why but I always loved butlers :3 So I think this has everything needed to make it a good anime, even though the animation quality isn't the best |

| Not a bad first episode. The writing is just ok, and the characters already seem to serve the plot more than themselves, but I'll keep watching, it's a little charming. |

| Pretty decent first ep, considering the simple animation. And hey, the guys are hot, lol. And yay, Tomokazu Sugita as Raven~ hot~ *^_^* But casting Midorikawa Hikaru as Edgar is so distracting to me. No matter what the role, hearing his voice always pulls me out of the anime, and makes me think of him in the recording studio reading his lines instead of what is going on in the anime. And they really really should NOT let him sing that ending song. His singing voice is so horribly nasal... I look forward to episode 2 though ^_^ |

| It's interesting but not what I was expecting. The main guy is a jerk(which is kind of nice, actually. There ARE jerks in real life, so anime should have them too) and the main female is a bit too easily swayed by compliments, but it's alright. That part with her nearly slipping and getting caught reminded me of the Titanic X_X |
