| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was a good continuation and I was a little baffled by this one year thing in Germany but it was fascinating the way it was shown like it is in the past. In fact the whole episode was Minami eccentric. I have to agree with her in the following,  Akihisa is stupid enough to be like that sometimes. It was a hilarious part none the less because I was under the impression that Minami truly has language problems. Akihisa got me ROFL at the following,  That shirt so does not go well with him but he does not look that bad in it. I found hilarious that Minami though Hideyoshi was really a girl at first.
On the other hand Himeji is starting to lose big time with this episode and at this rate I might even forget her. I don’t want that! Waaah! Himeji needs her own part in regards to Akihisa but before that they should do her kiss next episode then next episode her start in liking Akihisa. More later. BTW Image Stitches in the spoiler |

| Really disappointed that it didn't show what happened after the kiss. Instead, it was a flashback episode. *Sigh* I guess I'll have to wait another 7 days to see what REALLY happened... Damn. |

| Flashback eps in this genre of anime aren't my kind of thing, belongs in a recap special, this is ok but I rather have a totally new episode with the kiss continuation and Himeji's full reaction. |

| It's perhaps because of the recent Eva movie announcement, but Minami is starting to remind me of Asuka...like both of them are so "fluent" in German. XD Btw, I liked how Oonuma Shin used so many visual techniques from the experience of directing the ef series. I think Shinbo Akiyuki would be proud of him. |

| Definitely the best episode of the season. I thought they did a great job throwing this flashback episode of Minami's life right after the kiss. It really explains why Minami has this one-sided love for Yoshii, and I can really feel for her. English wasn't my first language, and I remembered how hard it was for me to attend school in a totally different country that spoke a totally different language many years ago. |

| When I started the episode: Awww this isnt continuing from last episode!? When I finished the episode: THIS FUCKING EPISODE ;A; MINAMI I KNOW THAT FEEL! For 2 episodes now Baka Test 2 is on fire, this season is getting back on track |

| Interesting ep, Minami's "Wa-ta-shi" (what a shit) got me laughing :P Nice setting doing flashback after kiss. I think so far this is best ep of the series. |

| Official Minami Supporter as of 8/27/2011 This was by far one of the best episodes from this series, I felt so sad for Minami and her struggles to fit in a place where she can't even communicate with everyone else. It all makes sense now.....she's not blindly in love with Akihisa, she's not some cliche tsundere, she has a very good reason and I can't believe I'm saying this but, I fully support her all the way after these last two episodes. Before I was always leaning on Mizuki (probably because of the tits), but Mianami's story was really great, and I've always loved her looks and personality.  ALL HAIL MINAMI! |

| Highlight of the episode: "What a shit man you are!" Irony: Minami's English isn't exactly very good, despite having stayed overseas prior to the events of BakaTest S1. Other than that, this episode was both touching and hilarious, and I especially enjoyed watching Minami breaking her language barriers to befriend Yoshii. ^_^ *(Poor Hideyoshi; He never has been given a break with matters regarding his sex, eh?) T_T I just realised one thing which made me feel depressed: Shouko made a very small cameo appearance. |

| Wow... I would've never expected a flashback episode. After watching though I'm really glad they did. I think it brought Minami into a whole new light for us. It isn't always about the laughs. Understanding the root of what triggered Minami's blooming affection towards Akihisa and the chemistry between them presently gives her more dimension as a character. I thought this as a whole was sweet and very touching. "Could you become my friend?" Somehow this show managed to turn a cliché phrase into a very sincere moment of extending friendship. I hope we get to see more of the other characters pasts as I really enjoyed this one. ...Although, I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the result of her kiss. -__- *sigh |

| From the very beginning of the episode I had this feeling that they won't continue from the kiss last time this week... and I was right, aren't they mean? Fortunately episode itself was worth it. :) |

| Well, it's better to explain why Minami has feelings for Akihisa. I totally understands the feeling of getting isolated when you can't speak the common language that people are using, especially when you shifted to a new environment. |

| This was a nice look into Minami's background~ It's true that moving from one country to another can be really stressful :x and lol copying shimizu probably wasn't the best way to get some peace Still, why do they have to end on another cliffhanger? I want to know what she said at the end!!! >.< At the very least, the next episode's title means that it should be (finally) continuing from episode 7! can't wait ^^ |
