| Another ghost/spirits UFO etc..etc anime? cool. This was a surprise. I thought it was going to suck like Night Raid and Sora no Woto. Another Anri face in Occult Gakuin with the same voice lol The main character is awesome, Maya you're so beautiful :D The humor was also great, it made me laugh a lot. At the end, a guy with no pantsu came, and Maya's face was priceless xD Looking forward to future eps. Maybe this will be much more awesomer than the last two projects ^^ |
| Yea Occult Academy has its own potential and strengths , but since HOTD will command so much hype and popularity given the theme and subjects, it seems Occult Academy for at least the beginning weeks will be the underdog. I loved the ED, and this shows quality is really high. |

| Interesting start! I didn't really know much what I was getting into when I first decided to pick this series up though cause the title had me curious. While I have no idea how to take this show I like what I see from the start so I can imagine I will be following this for a while. Also I think I have fallen in love with Maya. |

| That. Was. Awesome. The comedy, the music, the action, the characters. It all worked, and I absolutely loved it. If Shiki is as good as this, then maybe there is hope for the Summer of 2010 after all. PS. Ending was spectacular. I hope there will be a proper fansub group for this. |
| Hey, this was actually really good. Interesting setting, so far great characters, great comedy and well implemented serious parts. Surprisingly none of the summer shows I've watched have dissapointed me yet. Except for Kuroshitsuji II, but it's not like I was expecting anything out of it either. Also Maya....that character design, that personality, that dress and having Hikasa Yoko as a seiyuu... :3 |

| Just like everybody seems to be, I was pleasantly surprised. I remember looking at it when the charts first came out and thinking about picking it up because it was part of the anime no chikara deal, but I had forgotten and just decided to watch it randomly. Some good laughs, decent attempts at horror, I think this is my favorite of this season so far. |

| No expectations going into this show and after the first ep, I don't really have any expectations going forward. Nothing really seemed to stand out about this show, at least not for me. I'll keep watching because it wasn't horrible, by any means, and this season selection is a bit sparse, but nothing about this show excited me in any way. Animation was good, the characters seem like they are all going to be odd in a silly way; which may get tiresome after a while. For some reason I get a "Paranoia Agent" vibe form this series; I could be way off base though. |
| lol, why the HOTD comparisons? Anyway, this one looks promising. From an anime no chikara standpoint, sora no woto took me by surprise, still have yet to watch night raid, and this is looking interesting so far. Let's see where it goes. |

| This is pretty lulzy and the animation is decent. Loli Maya is moe. Megane-girl's voice is my favorite. Dude at the end is going to be one of those "I'm god-level so everything I do has to be cocky and ridiculous" male leads, which I am fine with so long as Maya is tsundere for him. |
| Not bad actually, not bad at all. I can definitely quote the "pleasant surprise"-comments from the first page since this was probably the show I was least looking forward to. Although this show can become almost anything in couple episodes, the pilot was probably the best one of the season yet. Although Cat Shit One could be the one changing that. |

I approve of having Takagaki Ayahi (with her incredibly easy-to-recognize voice~), Chihara Minori and Hanazawa Kana in the list, they should've gotten main roles though >.> And Hikasa Yoko.. Nah, not a very fitting character for her. (Quite like the character though.) Ah well, Mizushima didn't really sound that much like Rolo this time, so it's fine I suppose.. ^^; This program is a work of fiction. | Oooh, pretty colours and everything. Not serious to the core, but also not without comedy. I hope it works out well in the end. Couldn't not notice the focus on Maya's dress area 8D Live action ED? o.o Whoa. I like Ami already (am I the only one who thinks she's sexier than Maya, with this short cute hair and all? *__*), and that red-haired plump guy is shaping up to be pretty damn funny xD Hope it lives up to my expectations (which were high since the beginning). |

| Man, about time a show surprised me positively. Its sense of humour was great and it seems like it'll have more plot than I thought it would. I'm expecting it to be the best anime this summer. |

| 6/10 for me, almost 7/10. I didn't really feel attached to the main character at all, then again it's episode 1. I'll have to wait and see. Also the occult stuff isn't quite my thing but that could be why...one thing that really bugged me though... WTF IS WITH HER CLOTHES? That $hit's from 1970's, her 1 piece & head band, and did ANYONE else notice she was wearing that exact SAME outfit when she was like 10? Wth? Really? New clothes...c'mon...something at least 90's, lol. I liked Smiles. Besides that, didn't feel like much happened. |

Great seiyuu, in any case. another thing to add-loved hearing Hanazawa Kana when Kozue became a spirit. Awesome. and also, I only added "this > HSOTD" to my post because other people were comparing them. They are completely different shows with a slightly similar theme. I included another comparison but that was just about the tone of the series and not the actual content. This is still better, though. ;D |
