Well I am not a Disney fan but still love Fantasia - here is one of my favorite composers Debussy - this is the lost clip which was found again but with the original music - Clair de Lune

..and Chopin Rules - the music outshines the animation BYW

..and a little fun with our mate Bach from those lovely people from aniBOOM

Have you seen Allegro non troppo? It's an Italian movie similar to Fantasia.

One of the animations from it, Valse Triste:

Now, now...go easy on me...I am well aware I broke the rules, once right? And I seem to recall, I did fess up to it as well. But I am wondering as to why
you deleted the vid I did post afterwards, that was not Japanese made...right after having posted the broken rules one. *Gee...sighs*

This one was just too adorable not to post...here's how it was translated on YT, to us non-Russian speaking folk...
The plot is the following:
Little doggie tries to understand who says "mau".
So he keeps asking everybody about it, not knowing of who could that be.

Finally, when he find out that it was the cat, after the cat runs away, he says - "Now I know who says "mau"".

That's in short.
And now...
Кто сказал "мяу"?

One more beauty...I am becoming a big fan of Russian animation. The artwork, the music, the stories...all beautiful.

Yann Tiersen vid does not show up when I click on it. Little kawaii Alma does...poor thing, to be forever stuck in that doll shop from Hell...the store front looks like a giant mouth ready to devour any poor naive kid, who just happens to come along. Can you fix the other one, onegai?
Both IE and Google Chrome can't watch your malfunctioning vid...(^.~)

I liked this one, hope you all will too.

Nice to see La Linea again. I watched that on telly in the 80's I think.
Here are some surreal shorts by Rene Laloux (known from the The Savage Planet and Gandahar):

Les Escargots/the Snails

Les dents du singe/ Monkey's Teeth
(story written by patients of an asylum)

La Prisonniere/the Captice
(I could only find Spanish subs, but the animation alone is worth the watch)

I'm having a hard time trying to find Mermaid from Aleksandr Petrov in Youtube. You probably know him, he is a paint-on-glass Russian animator who has made some of the most eye-candy works I've ever seen; My love and The dream of a ridiculous man are specially recommended, although too long to be shown here.

Also, a Disney short I love so much, The old mill:

Suzie Templeton's Dog :(

Also, have seen some of the already mentioned and they are all amazing. One of the last was Kiwi!, sweet little story.
