Himari isn't being honest with her feelings while Yuu doesn't seem to know the answer to his feelings.
While Rion seems nice so for i have a feeling Himari is a better match for him not to mention that he seems to be the only one able to handle her.
Himari seems like a handful with her personality but Yuu is doing well with her, they might be friends but it's clear if there were no interruptions they would have become a couple.
We need to see more from Rion tho to make a proper judgement.

Himari's teasing continues. Love is in the air between her, Yuu, and Enomoto.

The teasing aside, it seems Enomoto is more aggressive in her feelings towards Yuu now. She's still kinda shy but more confident compared to the first episode. Himari is having way too much fun though, with herself and those around her especially Yuu. She's a walking teasing billboard this season.

Himari was on edge the whole episode with Yuu and Enomoto getting closer. The way she made him kiss her, then played it off as a prank—girl needs to get it together, but that flustered face was just too cute.

It seems like Yuu isn’t fully in love with Enomoto, so Himari still has a shot. But she needs to break out of the BFF zone and start showing her feelings more. Yuu also finds her attractive, but with their friendship status, he’s stuck too.

Shinji finding out about Himari’s feelings? The guy’s gone full teasing mode, having way too much fun with it. That ending though—came outta nowhere. Angry Himari making rash decisions... yeah, she definitely needs yogurt therapy or something.

Yeah, okay Himari is officially annoying. I wanted to defend her at the start but nah, I can't with her anymore.

She get's mad after hooking these two up, tries to play dude and then plays it off as "a joke" then proceeds to... pour milk on him and want to end the friendship... ???

Oh yeah, and this episode was so broken lmao. Expect delays to come soon, because yikes this episode looked really bad visually.

I did not expect them to go this far already. Himari and Yu are already splitting up?!?! This episode honestly made me like Himari a whole lot less as she was clearly acting selfishly and becoming more desperate throughout. Instead of accepting the fact that she lost, she was trying to get in the way of Rion and Yu. I also respected Yu's ability to read the situation and turn down Himari in a kind but clear manner. That is something that a lot of anime protagonists are really terrible at recognising and doing. No clue what the outcome of this is going to be but I can somehow easily imagine that things are going to annoyingly go back to how they were before, as we still have 9 episode left after all.

Jesus, Himari has lost it. I honestly feel like the Yu hasn't done anything wrong at any point. All the blame goes to Himari from my point of view. She's been playing the best-friend card for so long now and when she leads him on with the "should we try kissing" she makes fun of him instead laughing her ass off. I can't blame the guy for wanting to be closer to Enomoto, she's a treasure.

I honestly have no clue how they're gonna keep going from where they left off. You could see from her face she was dead serious about being pissed off (for no good reason).

Interesting episode...

Himari still can't be honest with her feelings and she was so annoying this episode. I was honestly rooting for her at the start but now? Yea, no. Just give Yuu a break, he's already dealing with so much. And the last scene where she poured water on him? Come onnnnnnnn.

Looks like they're splitting up next episode. Also, this episode looked kinda bad visually. I don't know, the episode looked weird compared to the first 2.

The pre-opening scene alone was enough to make me smile, laugh, and completely forget I have an important exam the day after tomorrow! I think that’s more than enough reason to say thank you to this wonderful show.

The episode was absolutely delightful and uplifting. I was honestly a bit disappointed with the weak animation, I just wished it looked better because I really love this anime! But even with that, I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time.

And then… Himari suddenly snapped at the end! Oh my god, my smile vanished instantly hahahahahahaha.

What is even happening?! How am I supposed to wait an entire week to find out what just happened?!

I love slice-of-life works.

Damn I was just praising this as a generational best girl battle last week. It was pretty hard watching Himari be so damn toxic this episode. I mean she only has herself to blame for Yu and Enomoto getting closer, you made the damn sandwich! Like why try and push him to be closer with another girl if you’re just gonna get upset and be nasty the whole time?

She’s a teenager so there’s a certain level of leeway we have to give her, not a fully developed brain and all that, but if you’re gonna have Yu get close with Rin,you need to stop playing games. All that “hehe just kidding” when you have him on the ropes is not helping you and why tf would you record Yu trying to kiss you to “tease Enomoto” she’s sinking any actual chance she has and now he won’t take her seriously.

Mashima messy as hell for setting up that dinner situation too 😭 Himari is already on edge and then you suggest letting Enomoto in the club.. the one place Himari felt she had an advantage over her with Yu. “We’re splitting up” and pouring the water on Yu’s head is crazy Himari’s toxic phase is here and I hope things don’t get dragged too much. I think Himari lost a lot of fans today unfortunately.. she’s a good girl, just handling things really poorly.

I kind of expected this to happen, but I didn’t think Himari would blow up like that—especially when she has no right to break up with Yuu 😅. She sabotaged herself from the start. She was never honest about her feelings for Yuu. Even with Rion getting closer to him, Yuu still clearly has stronger feelings for Himari, but she always finds a way to push him away with her jokes.

I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen now. Don’t get me wrong—I don’t dislike Himari. What really gets me is how clueless she is about her own truth. So yeah, personally, Rion is still my favorite.

Himari is losing it. SERIOUSLY LOSING IT! Probably because the guy thought about her as if she were a pizza:

She might need to get straight, or else:

Now, this is the face of someone whose plans are working perfectly.

Damn, the drama is coming faster than I was expecting. Himari is not even close to Uzaki, Takagi, or Yamada on teasing right now. She was insanely direct at times, though. Yu is very oblivious, but at least in his mind, he acknowledges he might fall for her if she continues... But then, there's Enomoto. At this point, you might think the blue-haired girl is the only one who can win, but I don't believe Enomoto will stay with her arms crossed for much longer.

Himari's feelings are pretty clear and her thought process has been explained.
Her jealousy is off the charts, but what I like is that she's taking action, even though this is clumsy and certainly too subtle for Yuu who imagine this is yet another joke.
It's not that Yuu isn't interested, in fact it looks like he largely prefers Himari to Rion, but their friendship, Himari's jokster personality, his self-doubts... are all getting in the way, and he ends up hurting her.
But at least, now that she wants to 'end' their friendship, they'll have to be a bit more honest with each other, hopefully.

1:00 Enomoto acting close with Yuu now 👌🏻

1:24 Finally learned the lyrics to this OP! Now I get to sing along the rest of the season 😁🙌🏻 so good

4:10 damn Yuu cornered her good

8:30 you already know Himari was up to something 🤣 but she really wants that kiss tho 👀

18:20 these two knew what they were doing 🤣

19:20 and now this guy turned on Himari to get her riled up. Man he knows what he’s doing 😂 very perceptive

BRO THAT ENDING 😯 Himari finally snapped 🤣 gave me like a Phoenix Wright character break down moment. Honestly, Himari is such a coward though. She likes Yuu and wants to be with him, she keeps teasing him, but at the same time she lies and says she ships and supports him with Enomoto. Kinda messy right now. She needs to be more honest with her feelings.

Ok Himari No....
I am fine with her teasing all throughout episode I rather enjoyed it. Yuu is idiot so he's still fair game. But this..
I don't what's in past. If you can't tolerate another girl getting close to him is insufferable behaviour. And lashing out like that. She's is always sending mixed signals, her feelings are mess. She tried too hook Yuu and Rin and now getting angry they are getting close. The annoying thing is next episode all will be forgiven, it will be labelled as "misunderstanding", Yuu will feel sorry for taking Himari place. And as always best girls get sidelined.
It quite clear mc isn't the sharpest tool, I was kinda hopeful he won't same generic ones but again. If he used little brain and emotion he could have come to better conclusion than "Enomata san doesn't see me that way". Hrgh..

Makshima is the most entertaining one and sticks his neck for his friend. Have to respect that.
After almost three perfect episode last scene leaves bitter taste in my mouth. One thing is clear. Rin is easily easily better choice infact the only option imo. She is cute not crazy and compassionate. It will be horrible if she gets hurt but this series isn't about her so alas..

I am still gonna hold my little hopes..She is so sweet🥲

I'm absolutely loving how this anime isn't wasting time, things are seriously moving fast + taking unexpected turns. That wtf cliffhanger of an ending..

Last episode I assumed Himari had only started to develop feelings for Yu but it turned out she had been in love with him all along, yet kept it to herself and dated other boys?!! That's not adding up, but before more information is dropped next episode, perhaps, she's sounding as the bad guy right now, she's the one who wanted to be friends in the first place but that rises questions, was it in fear of rejection? Or the feelings developed later on when IF she acted on them she'd lose everything they already had?! Either way this episode made it clear she wants Yu to take the intuitive, which is really stupid.

Looking back at the first episode I'm guessing what drove her mad was Yu forgetting the promise when they made their friendship pact. I guess she's fine playing friend and pushing Yu and Rion together against her own wishes but not fine losing her role as his model as to her their entire relationship depends on it?! Only to end it herself in a rage moment?!
I personally doubt it's over but we'll see.

The average animation aside it was pretty darn entertaining.

Why did this ep look so much worse than the previous 2?

Anyways, I do think the actual content of the episode is really good. This episode (or rather the whole series) conveyed the struggles of changing a friendship into a romantic relationship pretty well. MC is falling for FMC, but doesn't want to because of what Himari's choker symbolizes, the friendzone. That is the only thing holding him back from thinking she might feel the same way so it is better for him to not fall for her because if that happened his most important relationship falls apart.

FMC has a similar, but still different problem. She knows her feelings now, she what her problem is. She kept using that "friend" label to preserve the status quo. But she realized it a little too late because she now believes that she has lost, and it didn't help that he chose Rin as his main model over her. Now she probably thinks that Yuu doesn't see their relationship as his most important one and she lashed out because of that like an unstable high school girl would. Because that also goes against the promise they made. Best character in the show so far.

Only real gripe I have is that Rin is really bland in comparison to our MC's. I hope to see something interesting from her soon.

First, she acts as if she doesn't want to, as if she's just there to fill the space of friendship. They both have different talents and their work together created a product, a friendship... feelings. When the other girl shows up, she sees that what she values can go. What I think hurts both of them are the games or tests she plays. She had all the time to take on a relationship and he was available to take on this role. If she hesitates a little more, maybe she won't have as much time as she thinks.

I have fun watching how the world turns over the course of these three episodes. I wonder what will happen in the next ones? Will she give up? Will she go through the stages of mourning? Or will she fight to regain her place?

I hope that with this conflict, she can realign her priorities, accept her feelings and have a clear position on whether or not she is willing to have a relationship with him.

If she doesn't want to, there are others who will.

I'll make my stance clear now that I still like Himari, but I wasn't expecting her to hit the implosion button like this so quickly. Her position in this love triangle to only going to end in tears for her. While her teasing still remains amusing, the way she is dealing with her feelings and how she interacts with Yu is pushing him and Enomoto closer together.

How things will play out in the following episodes will be pretty interesting, but I hope that Himari comes to her senses at some point and changes course before she ends up doing something that she'll end up regretting. She's not a bad girl at all, but her decisions will end up hurting herself and those around her.

On a bright side, I do like how Yu's tulip creation was made. The hairclip accessory does suit Enomoto a lot and I'm glad that she really liked it herself. Hydrangeas was shown in the title for the next episode, so I do look forward to see what Yu will make with that flower.
