People (plural) will create it & sign off on the final edits after possible modifications by humans. Seems legit to me. Ai is just a program, like MS Paint or AutoCAD. An actual all-Ai created show is centuries away, I think. |

Well, a good 50 years anyhow. 😸 It would take astonishing leaps in many fields of science to get to that level. Of course if all you want is to mimic? That could be 10, 20 years or so, maybe. Then Ai could fake a story, art & so forth. Like 1 million monkeys with typewriters, they could spam it out until something accidentally looked good. But actual artificial intelligence? Not just a sophisticated chatbot? That's some far-off sci-fi stuff. We'll have walking humanoid robots before then, and that too will take a huge leap in many fields. Catgirl robots, of course. |

| @MrRant That's just the animation, though. 100% of the animation could be done in Vietnam and it's still anime then. The animation being mostly AI doesn't discredit it from being an anime. I'm sure we'll see more of this in the future, especially with how lenient MAL is on what counts as a "professional", if someone who worked on the OP animation of the second season of some forgotten isekai decides to make a short film with the help of AI that will count as an anime. "Practically no one" just means small teams can actually make things themselves instead of always having to work under the supervision and direction of a big company. |

Even I wouldn't want to watch AI made anime now because the quality wouldn't be on par. But who knows what happens after a few years. | @HaGriDoS In the future, Anime made by AI is going to be indistinguishable from digital animation. As someone who started using an AI site known as NovelAI to create AI content in 2022, I can assure you that AI has advanced a lot in just 3 years to the point sometimes not even I can distinguish AI-generated Anime from non-AI-generated Anime. Such things are going to even improve more in 5 years or even less so many companies are going to use AI as tools to assist them to produce Anime and ease the burden on the animators. Twins Hinahima's creators decided to reveal they use AI as a tool to help them in the creation of the Anime which they are not obliged to say. Pretty sure when more Anime studios start to use AI to assist them in the animation, they are most likely not going to claim they are going to use it and probably by that point, AI-generation improved much more to the point all wouldn't even be able to recognize it. Finally, the anti-AI sentiment will probably die more than before (it was much worse in 2022, like 95% of people were anti-AI, now it went down to 65% and many people started to support AI since its very popular producing NSFW AI Anime-generated content). So basically, no one can't stop you if you decided to stop watching Anime for such reason. Probably some people in the very early 00s were annoyed since they stopped using cel animation in Anime and such thing didn't affect Anime. So I think you are just fighting a lost battle since technological advances are always going to be accepted over the years, same like our ancestors did with the radio and TV. Technophobia is always limited to very few people. Finally, people won't care if the product is made by AI as long its good. Not only in animation, AI can also help people to produce games or even writing books. And even in such things, AI is improving rapidly. Just like they told you: "There's nothing you can do about it. Just accept the future". While I was never against AI in the first place, I was quite curious about it since my friend introduced me to use AI tools in 2022 and I learned a lot of interesting things. For example, you can create AI-generated of characters they never have especially NSFW. I think at least with some non-AI artists, they should be partially blamed for the rise of AI, some put exaggeratedly high prices for a single comission or some are even very mean to dealt with it. With AI-generated stuff, you can create hundreds of images in less than 20 minutes and while you must pay if you want more pics quickly and better, its beneficial than paying to a single artist for a single pic or even 5 pics with extraorbitant prices which they probably won't like much either. |

| I hope more Anime using AI as tools are produced to they can be added to this site and even more popular series (which they are def going to do) start to using them so I'll see less extremist anti-AI stance in the Anime community especially considering some of them want cartoons in this site but they are against an Anime using AI as a tool being in Anime tracking sites completely ignoring the fact the purpose of a database like terrible sites like AL are doing it right now. |
