| Is this too much for Mizuho to handle? It might in some ways look that way, at least for her physically. Mentally, she's dealing with the idea of falling in love. Kizuki is again the main focus here and he does show a lot of genuine care for her. The aquarium trip was fun but not a date since all their friends went. A good chance to make memories this episode though. |

Like Why is the direction so weird in this show? The camera will hold a shot or angle for like 4 seconds before or after someone talks and it makes every scene so awkward and slow. The conbini scene being a perfect example of that. Felt so weird. There’s a ton of “dead space” In the ep if that makes sense. Gives very low budget and effort. Ojou to banken kun was another show that used to have these slow and awkward scenes and we all know how that one went. Production issues aside, evidently all the boys must’ve clearly had some sort of agreement where they’d wait until Mizuho birthday to make a move on her cause why are they all so down bad now lmao. Shin making his move, Kizuki getting even thirstier.. the beach scene would’ve been kinda cute if it didn’t look like a damn slideshow. Shugo like the only normal dude in the show and the only one that’s not simping over Mizuho.. for now anyway. He has a crush on the teacher, but I could see that actually pushing he and Mizuho closer if he gets heartbroken by that not panning out.. that’s further down the line though. Mizuho thinks she’s in love with Kizuki because her heart is racing and they’re going on this solo date, but realistically I think it’s just her being conscious of him as a boy for the first time and just going through her first courting process. | I do not think I will come around to liking the cheap backgrounds and background characters animation, but animation quality is not my highest priority for enjoying anime. Derriere in denim shorts and legs on a beach: very nostalgic for a Texas Evil Overlord. Approved. |

It gives off very controlling sort of vibes. Then the show has other problems like the background characters being polka dot cutouts, how lacking in character the boys are, etc. |
Two of them are already in her story, but she’s really undecided. So far, though, her choice has been Kizuki. There are some changes, though, because in the manga, that upperclassman Mizuho liked shows up in that room, but he doesn't appear in the anime. |

| Loved the episode, especially the part where Kizuki & Mizuho got outta the train, leaving us on a cliffhanger as we do not know what Kizuki has in mind, then IMMEDIATELY the preview for the next ep jumpscare-spoils us with "FIREWORKS 4 THE FUTURE", you serious Typhoon? Seriously TG? Now we know they gonna go on some midnight date watching beautiful fireworks amidst the beautiful full moon. Thanks, Studio. Appreciated. |

| @90293otaku Yeah, fax. Pretty mid. I don't mind the budget they put, like the browny pointy mob characters. But it's just SLOW PACED AF. I'm seriously thinking about dropping it, cuz of 3 episodes, i feel like we haven't progressed in anything so far. Girl kept overthinking till she burnt out, then we back to the usual routine, except the preview for the next ep jumpscare-spoils us with "FIREWORKS 4 THE FUTURE". Now we know they gonna go on some midnight date watching beautiful fireworks amidst the beautiful full moon. Amazing studio, seriously. |

| I didn't particularly like the series beforehand, but this episode was rough. I'm pretty sure there was a significant drop in the art and animation quality this episode. I would have to check episode 2 to confirm, but can't be bothered. We also got a sleep creep this episode and some more borderline physical behavior. Also, I'm pretty sure that was a Great White Shark in the aquarium, which would be the worst offense of all. I probably should just drop this show, but I've watched too many good shows lately. I need some nice 3's or 4's to regain some balance. :P |

From what I understand the mold remover was really supposed to mean no sense, to show how Kizuki was bad/going overboard with choosing his get well soon gifts for Mizuho (I imagine Airu/Shugo chucking that out from the grocery basket), which was followed by his overbuying of bananas haha. I think Shugo meant that they are the same with having struggles/difficulties with love matters, because his crush is likely that teacher he sees at the end of the episode. -------- As this is mainly still a romance show, I appreciate the friendship bits like i.e. Shugo and Kizuki supporting Airu after his encounter with his ex-friends, and Shin and Airu telling Kizuki that he was the boss for the day (to cheer them up). Also the part of them playing with the waterhose haha, so cute So now, it seems only Shin and Kizuki have feelings for Mizuho, Shugo likes someone else (a teacher, I kinda love the bittersweet, almost always unrequited crush on person of authority trope haha). Airu dotes on Mizuho but it being romantic is still not sure (I don't think it is though). The latter two seems to know about the group's dynamics re: romantic interests. Mizuho is getting conscious of Kizuki, but is hesitant to fall in love because she values her group's status quo. Kizuki is getting most of the screentime, but Shin skipped class to have some too (lol). Another old trope was seen - wanting to kiss the sleeping crush. I feel bad somehow that his advice is getting applied by Mizuho to someone else 😅 haha |
