I don't understand why they suddenly focused about other small plots, and discontinued the main plot. I hope there's actually a reason for this.

Apparently Mamiko Noto played Suzu's sister... but I didn't hear it. I swear I heard it her voice coming from one of the women watching that dancing.

Yeah they changed the focus many times. lol I think it's difficult to put the story in order because it's based on the novel.

btw the ending lyrics and the preview song has changed !!!

Same... It's really strange how they seem unable to actually "stay on topic". I mean, Youko "introduced" Suzu, but it still didn't make sense since there was no explanation as to why the story shifted focus again.

I did feel bad for Suzu, though... People like Youko and Suzu sure get it tough in this other world, don't they? :\ If they're not purposely brought in and watched over by people like Keiki, or like how the emperor of En was brought over by Enki...

So now they bring up that girl that begged Taiki to send her home. She has it rough I admit but...

Then they introduce a new girl from another idiot ruler. Its almost like the Kirrin set up these guys to fail. They tell them how to rule, they do it, and then the kingdom rebels...sounds like we need a new system again.

I have a feeling those two girls are going to be annoying. That former princess would probably be Sugimoto 2.0.

Lol, for half the episode I was wondering who that random girl was and why they introduced her. Now we know the who but not the why. I found it astonishing that she served that cruel lady for 100 years. And hopefully that blue-haired girl has some relevance to the plot as well.

Loved Youko's expression at the end... a mixture of amazement and determination.

For those wondering, the situation with the two other girls is very relevant to this coming arc. Keep in mind that one of the two girls wallows in self pity, and would rather blame others for her situation instead of trying to make the situation she's in better through her own power. The other girl was completely ignorant of what was going on in her own kingdom, and turned a blind eye to the atrocities that her father committed.

Keep these things in mind while watching the upcoming arc, and consider how they may apply to Youko.
Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast.

Yeah. I said it.

I remembered Suzu from the episode where she begged Taiki for help. I was wondering if she'd ever turn up again, I'm glad she has. Hopefully, she'll be able to find a way back to Japan, even though she's about a century out by this point.

Every episode, I bitch about the divine monarchy this world has, and there's no better episode than this one to demonstrate why the entire system is completely brain-dead stupid. Completely inept tyrants get the divine mandate and are treated with unwavering reverence and loyalty, because the Kirin apparently can't get it wrong, even though they seem to get it wrong very frequently. Again, what most interests me now is why the people of this world put so much faith in their "gods", who keep getting everything completely ass-backwards time and again and don't appear to realize or care about the refugee crisis or any other problems the people are facing.

The newly introduced princess could be an interesting character.

Oh wow, so the proper country is only Tai, En and Kei?

I don't know why they're like to jump around so much
I hope those two girls have connection with Youko, if not I might be really confused who's the MC

I really like this episode. I dont mind focusing on other characters.

Took me a bit to realize that Suzu was the girl from before. Her circumstances upon entering the new world were akin to Youko's, but I also saw a bit of Sugimoto in her selfish and despaired nature. Got some focus on Shoukei as well who lost almost everything.

I thought this was a pretty engaging episode that showed parallels as well as contrasts between the girls and I honestly can't wait to see how the fate of these unfortunate characters will affect each others.

Better than most of the previous episodes, as it had that palpable atmosphere of tension and drama that was sorely missing from the previous slapdash attempts at it, despite the shift in perspective to a new character.
