@Kristiwazhere Your recommendations were right on point! I liked both of the songs and will check out more from what the band has recorded.
As for your likes, I think these might be something you'd like:
It's not exactly full Jazz but I think this ablum could scratch that sort of instrumental Jazz-like sound with post-rock.
Here's another japanese fusion album.
I also have some other recommendations, since you said that you're open for mostly everything.

@ApEf Thanks for the recs, they all seem pretty cool, even the Thomax one, I'm not usually into that style of rapping but the song it's self was pretty good. |

Since you recommended a catchy song to someone else, let me give you another one that won't leave your mind anytime soon. It's quite different in theme and rhythm, but it's so good! It's from the Chinese anime Link Click (Shiguang Dailiren). Sadly, there is only a song and no official music video since the song is from a smaller artist named bicaso For a song of my own, I'll go for a song that doesn't seem to originate from anime if you don't know it, but is great and fits any normal playlist. |

One of my favorite songs is "The Lake and The River" by The Dear Hunter (a totally underrated band).
I really love the strong vocals and the story in the song; you can listen to it on its own, or as a part of the narrative told throughout their albums. The instruments used also hook me in so hard, I listen to this song on loop for hours at a time.

@somni don't really know if it might be to your liking but listening to what you posted reminded me of the first time I listened to this song so I'll reccomend it! It's Lemon by Kenshi Yonezu As for me these past days I've been once again obsessed with My Nocturnal Serenade by YOHIO. I love his voice and the old fashioned setting an 18th century outfit (I'm in love with all of his songs and style lol but this one really resonates with me). I'll also never stop to be madly in love with Qu Jin Chen Qing from the drama 'The Untamed' and 一花一剑 from Heaven Official's Blessing because chinese traditional instruments or inspired music always takes me into another beautiful dimension as I listen to them. |

@suguru- speaking of Sou, I really liked his cover (with ivudot) of Fatal recently: I may be biased (I really like the song and just about everything Giga's worked on, even just with arranges) but I think the cover is great, even if it's a bit different to Sou's more popular covers. |

@andreth This is actually my first time hearing this one and I have to say, I really like Sou's part, but I have mixed feelings about Ivudot (nothing really against him, but I just feel his voice doesn't really suit this song). I also may be biased though after hearing the original so many times... |

Okay, the anime song I am sending your way is Afro Gunso which is the first ending theme from Keroro Gunsou! Not sure who to tag so here are a few recommendations to anyone interested! I looove necchi's music, they've only got a few songs out as of writing this but they're all awesome, really dynamic and detailed and their voice is very pleasant to listen to. The accompanying music videos are also super cool, 'Reverse' from this year especially looks amazing. Saito Soma is probably my favourite solo artist ever, his voice is ethereal to me and there's quite a bit of range to his music, though it's mostly somewhere within the j-rock umbrella (I think). Some songs are just fun, some are painfully depressing and some are plain gorgeous. I find this one, 'Hiraeth', part of the last two categories. The music video is also very beautiful as always. I also really love Soma's lyrics, he seems to enjoy pondering existential and gloomy/melancholic topics and that definitely reflects onto his music, MVs and other personal writing. Midori is a new discovery for me, I really enjoy how experimental their sound is. A lot of it is very noisy and more punk than jazz, but this is a softer one. This song in particular makes me feel something rather indescribable. Like a revitalizing sadness, kinda. I've also been liking the singer's solo songs. Check out 'DJ Mariko Goto (DJ後藤まりこ) - DEMO (2018)' if you're into weird and loud electronic music. |

@Sasa66 Since you recommended Nier Automata music (always a good choice!), are you familiar with the YoRHa 1.2 stage play that shows A2 and Anemone's backstory? I think you'd enjoy the music, such as the opening song Normandy. Also, from one of Yoko Taro's other stage plays (this one based on a manga he created; the manga is called Kimi Shi ni Tamau Nakare, and this stage play adaptation is Kimi Shi ni Tamau Nakare Zero_Kai and acts as a prequel to the manga) which has a fantastic opening song as well: Senkou no Hana. I also think every Automata fan should hear Ishikawa Yui's cover of Kowareta Sekai no Uta (Weight of the World)! (For those unfamiliar, Ishikawa Yui is 2B's VA in both the games and the anime. She also plays A2 in the YoRHa 1.2 stage play.) - Anyway, some music I like... I've been really into relaxing music lately, like these ones: Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu - blessing ARIA the NATURAL - Euphoria |

Not sure if already mentioned, I absolutely adore the soundtrack from one of my favourite anime NANA! Some really great 2000s J-Rock and J-Pop represented in the anime, and an all-time top anime in the music genre. It helped me discover the discography of Olivia Lufkin, her unique blend of J-Rock and alternative is just sublime. I made a Spotify playlist of all her songs: here! Her NANA songs are such a great interpretation of what Trapnest could have sounded like. Anna Tsuchiya's songs are awesome as well! Really embodied the spirit of Nana and BLAST. Rock on! |

@Lunarose2 I hope you'll like this song, it's a bit dark, but there's a glimmer of hope hidden away in it:
I enjoy listening to a variety of jpop songs, some of my favorite bands are AliA, Hoshimachi Suisei, Lilas Ikuta, ONE OK ROCK, YOASOBI, Yuuri,
and YUIKA.

@rubixuitous Thanks, I love it! The melody is great and the lyrics are beautiful :) |

@Kwanthemaster Since you asked for something obscure, I'd like to recommend this song:
As for me, I love songs with dark concepts/tones, I mostly listen to kpop and a bit of jpop atm(Dreamcatcher, Purple Kiss, Pixy, Pink Fantasy, Phantom Siita, Vocaloid...), but I'm open to recommendations in any languages!

@Lunarose2 Uhh the Kpop Groups are all ones I really like myself, especially once I first got into that genre those groups were pretty much what got me started. During that time I also really enjoyed this song: So maybe you'll like it as well 🥰 As for me I really like Kpop (mainly girl groups and not overly cutesy) and metalcore a lot 😊 |

@Supirosk Hi hiiii ^^ I really liked all your recommendations! But the second one... I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT ONE 😩 Since you're mainly listening to Japanese songs from what I see, I'll share some of my favorites with you ^^ First one: I discovered this band thru my Japanese friend ^^ and I know it isn't Christmas yet but this is my fav song of theirs hahaha: Second one: I just saw that you already watched Tasogare Out Focus on your anime list, but I just have to share this song, I've seriously been obsessed with it, it just makes me feel some unkonwn (to me at least) emotions 😩 Third one: I've discovered this one by myself, and I've been listening to him from the moment I found out about him ^^ As for the music I'm currently obsessed with, I'll put those 3 songs ^^ |

@KanjiGasm Hi, the youtube MV doesn't seem to play on my end. Could you maybe give me the direct link or the name of the song so I can look it up please? |
